Pippa's phone rang while she and Andrew were walking to the theatre. "Hello?...yeah, a little.... ohh....oh okay. Love you!"

"Who's that?" Andrew asked.

"It was mom. Some guests had similar stomach pain. She thinks it's the baked oysters. In my defense I only ate a lot because of the cheese on it though." She said. "I think I believe you now."

Flashback:

Andrew hugged Pippa the moment she opened her door. "I missed you. I was so worried about you." He said.

Later on, he broke the hug and noticed that Pippa is still pacing back and forth on the hallway, looking so anxious. "Hey, tell me about it."

"Drew, I.... I don't know what to do. I think I'm pregnant. What would Steve think about me? We're just on break and I......." Pippa was cut off by Andrew.

"Shhhh, P. Calm down. Calm down. Listen to me. Let's take a sit first, okay?" He said and led Pippa to her living room.

"You're not pregnant. Nothing happened between us that night. The day after you left, I remember everything." He saw Pippa smirked so he continued, "We were having drinks, and then we played a game , truth or dare to be exact. You bought the cards so you and Steve can play it but you said you never had the chance to, and so we tried it. Damn, those dares were intense. And we're drunk enough to do all of them."

"By all of them you mean the kissing and you taking off my underwear?" Pippa asked.

"Yes. It also includes me dancing on your countertop but thank god you don't remember anything because I wouldn't be able to step inside of this place ever again without feeling embarrassed if you do." He said.

"Ughhh I wish I could remember anything. But how did we end up in the bed?" She asked.

"You were just telling me how much you miss sleeping in your bed so you ran to your bedroom. I was gonna let you sleep in peace until you started screaming and cursing your husband. Uhmmm, do you need re-enactment?"

"Oh pls no. Hearing what I did was already enough to make me barf." She said.

"I was just trying to calm you down and let you shut up but boy, that bed was something else. The moment I laid my back on that, I didn't care about shutting you up. My last memory was you shouting to Steve's picture on your bedside table about a god damn bike" he said as he tried to recall everything.

Andrew told her what happened in the theatre while she was gone, before he went home. Everything made sense, but she's still not fully convinced because of the stomach pain she's feeling.

"Happy Birthday, Bowie!" Andrew and Pippa greeted as they handed the kid their present. Anna invited Andrew as well because apparently, Bowie can't stop talking about how much she wants to play with Andrew again.

The two went straight to Bowie's party after the Sunday Matinee. This week was way better than the previous weeks for her because aside from the fact that she's already sleeping in their bedroom again, she's finally accepting the reality that she's now alone in the house. She also started to work out again and cook meals for herself, even without the presence of Andrew.

"Wow, you're matching outfits with the celebrant. Are you sure you're not the parents?" Anna joked while she and Dane welcomed the two.

The four of them were sitting on the same table and they were having fun until Pippa caught a familiar face walking towards their table.

"Hi. Sorry I'm late." Steve greeted. He has now shaved his beard, his hair was freshly cut, he also put effort to wear something nice. To everyone, he looks completely the same, but the changes are very evident to Pippa and it's the first thing she noticed.

Their eyes met and Steve gave her a sweet smile.
Pippa felt uncomfortable and Andrew knew it so he grabbed her hand under the table which made Pippa smile, mouthing him "thank you". She managed to finish the program keeping her cool.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Andrew asked Pippa who just joined him and Bowie playing the doll house they just bought her as a gift.

"Of course. Don't worry about me. Let's worry about this little kid who snatched you away from me" Pippa said as she tickled Bowie.

"Auntie Peeepaaaaaaa...*laughs*.... nooooo" Bowie shouts but it doesn't made Pippa stop. "Uncle drew! aaaahahhh....*laughs*....help meeeee"

Andrew acted like he's stopping Pippa so his hands were around her waist. Later on, Andrew and Bowie were the ones tickling Pippa. They look like a happy family and Anna didn't let that moment left uncaptured.

"My daughter really loves the both of you. I won't be shocked if one day she asks me if she can just live with you, Pips." She joked. "Anyway, we're having drinks in case you both want some."
______________

"Looks like you're having a good time, huh?" Said someone that almost made her drop the champagne.

"I am" she replied coldly. She wanted to get out of there as soon as possible but she also needs to find a glass for the champagne.

"So, how are you?" Steve asked

"I'm good. How about you? Anything that keeps you busy these days? Any reason why you're late?" Phillipa smirked. Shit, where the hell does Anna put her damn champagne glasses.

"I'm working on something now. Also, I had to meet someone before coming here and got caught up in traffic." Steve said as he took a sip of his drink.

Finally. After a couple of minutes, Phillipa managed to find a glass.

"I missed you so much, Pippa. I want you back. I am getting better now I promise." Steve pleaded.

"You know that's not how it works, Steve. You can't just leave me hanging like that and then decide to come back when it's convenient for you." she said

"Is there someone else now? Tell me the truth. Is it that guy?" He asked.

"Who? Andrew? Ha..ha... Steve you're obviously drunk." Phillipa laughed as she pour a drink on her glass.

"I may be drunk but I know what I saw." He said which made Pippa raise her brow. "Do you think I don't know that he's sleeping in our place? OUR FUCKING PLACE, Phillipa" his voice almost cracked. "I asked for a god damn break, you can't see othe...."

"But you can? How unfair of you. You asked for a break and as much as it hurts, I gave it to you. You're the one who showed up here and acted like nothing happened. You want the truth? The truth is your mere presence makes me sick and I don't know how we'll be able to make it through when I can't stand seeing you." She furiously said. Steve didn't move a bit and when she figured she won't get any response, "I should go."

"No. Stay." he firmly said.

"You're 3 weeks late, Steve. I hope you said that before you let me walk out of the door."

She's about to leave but Steve grabbed her hand.

"Let go of me!" She tried to get loose but she cut herself when her hand hit a sharp object on the table. "Aaaahhh fuck!"

There's blood. Steve urgently grabbed the kitchen towel beside him and hand it to her when Andrew came in and pinned him to the wall.

"What the hell do you think you're doing, Steven?" He yelled. His eyes full of anger.

"Let's go, Drew. I'm okay." She calmed Andrew. "C'mon. He's no good."

"Hurt her and you'll have to deal with me" he threatened him before letting him go.

Pippa handed the tissue back to Steve before heading out. "You broke my heart. A kitchen towel won't fix it."

Steve was left alone in the dirty kitchen. Your mere presence makes me sick....I can't stand seeing you.....I don't know how we'll be able to make it through.

[iMessage notification from Ahna O'Reilly:
Steve? Where the hell are you?]

I don't know how we'll be able to make it through. The words echoed in his head as if they were on loop.

[To: Ahna O'Reilly:
Something just came up. I'm on my way.
See you]

....I don't know how we'll be able to make it through

"Maybe we won't" he said to himself as he chugged the remaining drink on his hand.
