Chapter 3: Her Stupid Poster of Rules.

Hiccup's POV

The rest of my day was horrible, or, it might have been better, but the only thing I could think of all day was how Astrid had made me look like a complete idiot, and how Professor Weselton hated me now. I officially hated her.

I turned the corner, and found the door that meant that I was at our dorm. After fishing for my keys in backpack, I turned the knob and found Astrid on her bed reading a book. She sprang up when she saw me, and took a rolled up poster and threw it at me.

"Catch!" She said after it had landed at my feet.

"You're supposed to say that before you throw the object!" I said as I bent down to pick it up. I unrolled it, and the first thing I saw were the words The Roommate Rules printed in a bold neon color that hurt my eyes.

"Really?" I asked looking up at Astrid.

"Just read the rules." She said, and I looked down to find that, thankfully, there were only five rules.

"Rule number one: do not come in when Snotlout and I are in here." I read, and then looked up at Astrid with what I hoped was a disgusted look on my face. "Why on Earth would I want to come to the dorm while you and your boyfriend are canoodling in here?"

"Just keep reading." She said with an amused look on her face.

"Rule number two: stay out of my bathroom. Rule number three: don't steal my food from the mini-fridge. Rule number four: don't use the TV...." I looked up quickly and glared at Astrid. "Do you own the TV?"

"No, but-"

"Exactly, this room is shared, it doesn't
just belong to you." I threw the poster at her, not bothering to read the fifth rule. "I already knew not to do three out of four of those things. I'm nineteen, not nine." I hissed, and picked up my bag. "Hopefully you don't need me, but I'll be at Jack's dorm."

♣♣♣♣♣♣♣♣♣♣♣♣

"She's a nightmare, Jack." I said as I started on my calculus homework.

"I can imagine, but have you tried to be friends with her?" He asked, while trying to stuff a sandwich into his mouth.

"I've tried to be civil but she doesn't even want to be that."

"Well, while you were having you're Astrid problems, I was hitting it off with Elsa." He said happily

"Really? How'd it go?" I asked excitedly

"She said hi, and a few other things, but I still haven't asked her to lunch or anything." Jack said

"It's better than nothing." I muttered, and wrote down the answer to another problem.

"Is calculus due on Wednesday?" He asked as he sat down in front of me.

"I think it is, but I'm doing it now." I said. The door opened and Punz popped her head in.

"Hey idiots." She said, and sat down in between us with her laptop.

"What are you going to do with that?" I asked.

"Video-calling Eugene." I rolled my eyes. Eugene was Punz's boyfriend, but he was attending DisneyWorks Pixar College so that he could get into the agency, so Punz video-called him whenever she could. The last time that she had called while Jack and I were there, she and Eugene had ended up "air-kissing", and grossing Jack and I out.

I looked at the clocked that was placed convenietly over Jack's TV. 5:30.

"I gotta go, but tell Eugene I said hi." I said, and started packing up my stuff.

"Good luck with Astrid."

"Good luck with Astrid." They both said.

"And her stupid poster of rules." Jack added as I walked out. I laughed because I would deifinitely need all the luck I could get.
