Finding my way back to you

Daonuea remembers when he first started pining. The very first heartache he felt.

He had hoped that by asking Kluen to sign on his shirt that he would be able to scent that he is his soulmate. Kluen's ocean scent was so strong, he felt his knee trembled but his scent didn't seem to affect Kluen at all. He decided to give it his all by confessing to him, hoping his soulmate would reciprocate. But all he got was, "Have a safe flight."

Nothing prepared him for the heartache he felt as he clutched his chest, moving through the pain as he sat in the car on the way to the airport. He noticed he started getting weaker physically since then but he hid it well. He was afraid that Fah would be stressed out by it. He knows that there was nothing that Fah could do to help him and he didn't want him to worry about it. Telling him that it was his first crush and he would get through it.

The pining had been challenging but meeting Kluen again with his scent that close by had sooth it a little. Giving his body the false idea that his soulmate is with him. But it didn't stop the pining sickness from progressing. The fall off the stage was the testament of his weakening body. He knew it was only time. When he blacked out during the onset of the rejection sickness, he thought that was it. His only regret was not being able to tell his brother that he was sorry for hiding his sickness from him. He was sorry to Pokpong and Ne for never telling them the root of his crush on Kluen.

So he was utterly confused by the ocean scent that surrounds him. The warmth that wrapped around him. For as long as he remembers, people had said that death was cold. This was nothing like the death that he imagined. Does it mean he isn't dead?

He tried to open his eyes but they were heavy. He tried to move his hand but all he could manage was a finger twitch. He felt the pillow underneath him moved. He heard it calling his name but he was unable to respond. He was just too weak. The more he tried the weaker he gets. He succumbs to unconsciousness once again.
