Author's POV

Siddharth is  holding Smrithi's shivering hand. He understands that she is very nervous while meeting his family.

'Don't be nervous...smrithi...trust me.' He slightly pressed her soft hand.

Now they both are standing infront of their parents.

'Ahmm...' Siddharth cleared his throat

'Grandpa...mom and dad..' Siddharth called them.

They are looking at them curiously and confusingly.

'she is smrithi..i love her a lot. Grandpa she is the future daughter in law of Rajvansh ...i want to marry her.' Siddharth told them confidently.

'What do you mean by that.' Sujit is almost  shouting and not able to control his anger.

' Sujit...wait...not now.' Sunil warned his son authoritatively.

He looked at his  grandson who is holding Smrithi's hand firmly and at smrithi...she is lowering her eyes and trying to hide behind Siddharth.

He didn't say anything...

'Tomorrow....get her for lunch at our house. ' Sunil told Siddharth.

'Grandpa...' Siddharth called his grandfather.

'Sid...i trust you but i want to talk with you personally and to this young lady too.' Sunil told and left from there. Sujit glanced at Smrithi once and then he followed his father angrily.

'Oh my god...you are very beautiful. ' Sunanda almost screamed joyfully.  She was eagerly waiting for this opportunity. She could not able to  speak and express her happiness infront of those tough men. She caught smrithi's hand as soon as her husband and father in law left them.

Smrithi looked at her and then Siddharth . Siddharth smiled and nodded his head.

A small smile appeared in her pretty face.

'Sid...i like my daughter in law...she is a perfect match for you. Leave her with me for sometime as i want to know more about her.' Sunanda told Siddharth infact she ordered her son.

'Maa...she doesn't know much about anything. And mostly don't ask her more questions like...how we met? Is she really likes me or not? What was our first date?...' Siddharth is giving hints to his mother that she should be careful while talking with smrithi and not relieve the secret which he wants to tell her today night after the party.

'I know sid...don't worry about Smrithi...i know my daughter in law is very innocent so now she is safe with her smart mom in law. Come with me dear.' Sunanda assured her handsome son with her sweet smile.

Smrithi is confused a bit in one side that how come Sunanda doesnot denied her and in other side she is feeling very happy that she accepted her as her daughter in law immediately.

But...is she will behave same like this after knowing my truth...

Sunanda introduced smrithi to her friends that she is her distant cousin's daughter  and going to stay with them.

After around 30mins...sameera and sagar exchanged their rings between the wishes and blessings from all their well wishers and elders.

The party is in full swing...Sunanda is observing Smrithi keenly and she is asking about her likes and dislikes.

Smrithi is feeling very comfortable after talking with  Sunanda for sometime. Sameera's mother came and talked smrithi very affectionately.  She also praised smrithi about her cooking skills and her talents in carnatic music and paintings.

'Mrs. Rajvansh...you know our smrithi is not only a good girl and topper in studies...she is a very good painter and  singer. She had given many stage performances and won many prizes also. She always sings in the temple which is near their house in Hyderabad.'

'Aunty...you are very kind to me and likes me a lot that's why you are praising me unnecessarily. ' Smrithi told her nervously. She is not habitual that if anyone praising her. She is feeling shy and at the sametime a tint of pink shade formed on her fair cheek.

'Why not dear? Sunanda ji...she is an exceptionally talented singer and you know she is a perfect bride ...who is waiting for her that groom is very lucky that he got her as his wife.'

Siddharth is standing behind them with his back. Sunanda told him to leave Smrithi for sometime with her but he is very adamant and mostly addicted to smrithi so he is following her and his mother where they are going.

So...now he is listening everything eventhough he is talking with other business persons.  He just wants to turn and see smrithi once and held her in his arms. The most surprising thing is he doesn't know that smrithi is a good singer.

' haa..haa...you are right veena ji...i can makeout that smrithi is a very beautiful bride and her groom will be very lucky.' Sunanda knew that her son is standing just behind her and listening everything.

A slight smile formed on his thin lips...Smrithi lowered her head embarrassingly and biting her lower lip.

'Then why can't we arrange Smrithi's performance now.' Again Sunanda asked swathi. Her intention is that her father in law Sunil must be impressed by Smrithi and he should accept her as his grand daughter in law. She very well know that Sunil is very much interested in music and he himself is a good sitar player. Siddharth also inherited the same from his grandfather as he is a good pianist and guitarist.

'Oh...no...no aunty...please not now...it's...it's been long since i left music. I am not practicing also.' Smrithi is trying to  plead Sunanda and swathi.

'No way dear...i will talk with your uncle and arrange the stage and other things meanwhile you prepare for yourself. ' swathi left from there.

'Hey Smrithi...you got good punishment as you cheated on me.' Sameera told her playfully.

Smrithi is standing and thinking which song she should sing...

'Sing classical one...trust me...grandpa likes classical a lot.' Siddharth stood behind her and whispered while placing her loose and long hair in oneside.

'It's good that you have covered your beautiful mole which is on your back with your silky and smooth hair.' Siddharth leaned a bit close to her and told her in hushed tone while inhaling her scent.

Smrithi's eyes widend and she immediately pushed her hair to her back. She turned and looked at Siddharth.

What a naughty he is? No shame at all..
She muttered and glared at him.

'I heared it dear..yes..i am that too only for you' he winked at her.

She gulped nervously and moved a bit to maintain distance between them.

'Sid...after Smrithi's performance we have couple dance as per our childhood friends request.' Sagar told him while sipping his drink.

Siddharth nodded his head later both Siddharth and sagar are busy in talking with their friends.

'Ladies and gentlemen...' Everyone turned and looked at the sound which is coming from the stage.

Sameera's father pradeep is on the stage and welcomed everyone with his lovely and lively speech. Later he welcomed Smrithi on stage...

'Today's beautiful evening is starting with smrithi sharma's song. She is my daughter Sameera's close friend and mostly a daughter to me too.' With that he walked on stage while droping his hand around Smrithi's shoulder.

Smrithi smiled at pradeep. She is very much comfortable with Sameera's parents.

'Thank you uncle.' She mumbled at him.

'All the best dear.' Pradeep wished her while placing his hand on her head and left the stage.

Smrithi took a deep breath and released  ...she closed her eyes ...her  favourite god is lord krishna .  She slowly started the beautiful song.

(It is a really beautiful song which is belongs to ASHTAPADI written by bhaktha JAYADEVA. One of my favorite song too😊. The lyric of this song is in sanskrit language. Hope you people will also like this one.)

Smrithi is immersed herself while singing the song. All are including sunil stopped talking and mesmerised by her sweet and melodious voice.

Smrithi finished the song and slowly opened her big beautiful eyes and first she looked at Siddharth. She is very nervous beacuse all these rich people will like this type of song? That is the doubt bothering her.

Siddharth smiled and blinked his eyes that she sang very well and started clapping then all are came from their trance and joined with him. A big applaud is blooming at the venue.
Sameera including Sunanda are very much overjoyed at Smrithi's performance.  Sunanda looked at her father in law that she wants to see his expressions.  He is also clapping with a satisfactory smile. Sunil looked at Sunanda and nodded his head with a smile.

'Sid...she won your grandfather's heart...now no obstacle on your way.' Sunanda told her son slowly.

But...riya is fuming with anger and burning with jealousy.

She looked at Kalyan's direction and smirked at him.
