Next Morning

Skylors Pov:

We all were up early so I could explain my Plan more." We split up in 2 Teams, Me, Nya and Cole are going to the island. Lloyd, Jay and Zane you guys go to my house and grab the staff. The Staff is locked up in my room in a wardrobe" I explain. I gave Lloyd the Keys to my house and said, " we will go in 2 hours, make yourself ready".

2 hours later

Me, Nya and Cole took the bounty to fly to the island. " Where is the cave were the Crystal is?" Nya asked. " It should be there" I pointed the location on the map. " When we got the staff and the crystal how do we come near the Boss to take his Powers?" Cole asked. " We have to sneak up on him, then you guys have to hold him still so I can steal his Powers". " I hope it will work" he said. " We are here" Nya said. We landed right at the front of the cave; we then entered the cave. " its really dark in there, can someone make light?" Cole Said. Nya then turned on her flashlight. We were walking for an hour until we arrived. "Cole, can you use your powers to get the Crystal out?" I asked. Cole than ripped a piece out but the Crystal was too small. " Its too small, we have to keep looking for a bigger one". We searched everywhere but we couldn't find one, until Cole came up with an idea. " Maybe the crystal is in the rocks, I can try to destroy a few" Cole said. " That will take forever, the chances are low that you will find one in these rocks" Nya argued. Cole just shrugged his shoulders and threw the rock at the wall, strangely enough came actually a Crystal out. " Ok, that was just luck" Nya said with disbelief in her face. " We have no time; we need to get back and find the others" I said. We were on our way back to the Bounty but suddenly turned Nyas flashlight off. " Just great, how are we supposed to find a way out now?" Cole said. "The batteries are empty, maybe we can find a way out without light " Nya said. " Well, there is no other way, than walk out without light". We walked for 2 hours until Cole screamed" LIGHT, THERE IS LIGHT" he ran towards the light. " Finally, " Nya said. We all got on the bounty, and we messaged the others that we got the Crystal.

Lloyds Pov:

Me, Zane and Jay were in front of Skylors house to get the Staff. Skylor told me the Code for the lock at the wardrobe. " Wow, what a big house, how did she even afford it?" Jay said. " Skylor owns one of the biggest companys in Ninjago. " Zane said. We had enough time, so we looked around a little. In her house were Pictures of her when she was little and a Photos with her and her father. Then we found the wardrobe, I opened it and took the staff. " let's go" I said. "But we didn't see the whole house" Jay whined." also she said we can walk around a little" Jay said." ok, but only for 10 minutes. I looked around for a little until I decided to walk out to breathe fresh air. I looked at her front house and I remembered that day where I was forced to say the bad news.

Flashback:

"I am going to tell Skylor about the accident and you, your parents". 20 minutes later I stood in front of Skylors house, right when I was about to ring her doorbell, she already opened the door. "Oh, hi Lloyd, how can I help you?" She asked. " Hi, um I need to talk to you about something important". " Can it wait? I need to talk again with Kai at the prison. " She said. " No, it cant, pls". "Ok, but not too long. because I really need to talk to him" Skylor said and that made it harder to say the bad news to her. We sat down on her sofa. " You want something to drink?" she asked. " No, but thanks". " Soo, what's so important that you visit me at my home" Skylor asked. " Skylor..." I tried to say what happened, but it hurts so much just to think about it. She looked at me with a soft smile. " You can't talk to Kai again" I said but I saw that she is confused. " What do you mean by that? " She asked. I formed my hands into a fist, and I took a deep breath. " Kai broke out of the Prison". "What! How?" She asked. " We don't know". " Well, Im sure you guys will catch him" she said and patted me on the shoulder. Skylor than realized that there is more that I need to tell her, «There is more you need to tell me, right?". I just looked at her and then nodded. " When Kai broke out, he stole a Truck, he wanted to drive out of Ninjago, but the Police already chased him" Skylor did just looked at me and listened. " He drove in a tunnel with dangerous curves, and he drove very fast to escape the police. He was so fast that he crashed with the Truck". " Is he ok?" Skylor asked worried, but I just continued the story. " Kai didn't know that the Truck he was driving was transporting gasoline, and then the Truck exploded". Skylor gasps and put a hand in front of her mouth. " The Police called us to the Tunnel, just to say what happened. Later came the Commissioner and told us the bad news. Then we saw how two emergency helper pushed Kai in a bed where his whole body was covered in a blanket, we knew what that meant" I saw how tears started to form in her eyes and so did mine. " He was burned so bad that we couldn't identify him" I said now sobbing. Are you sure that it was really him?" Skylor asked, her voiced Shaked. " All the police officer wo chased him got only hurt, nobody was missing only Kai" after I finished the sentence Skylor begun to cry. This moment felt so unreal, I hugged Skylor, and we stayed like this for 1 hour until Skylor calmed down. " Lloyd?" Skylor said. "Yes?". " I wana join the team, to be near him" she said. " of course," I said.

Flashback end:

I snapped back and I saw that Jay and Zane came towards me. " Ok, now we can go" Jay said and walked to his vehicle. I looked up and said, " why did you had to leave us Kai, we need you down here".
