((this took place way before I met Allison or any else that has happened, just fyi))

Darkness...

That's the first thing I saw. I was in a massive black void and there was no sound except my own breathing. Faint pieces of shattered dreams, memories, and nightmares float around my head. I looked down at my hands; they glowed bright teal and blue and energy swirled around them. I heard something; voices... familiar ones. Ones I made in my head at night while I slept. Friendly ones and mean ones, but they whispered the same thing...

"Bring us to life."

I didn't know what I was thinking or what had happened, but I closed my eyes for a time. I don't remember how long, it felt like days. When I opened them, suddenly I was in the clouds painted gold by a morning sunrise that barely peeked over the horizon. I could see beaches and forests, and mountains that touched the sky when I looked to the ground. When I looked up, stars and planets with no names floated carelessly above my world. I let myself fall towards the land I created, seeing cities, towns, and homes, medieval and futuristic. It was amazing! I crashed into the middle of one big city and winced in pain, but when I looked up I saw four faces I've only ever seen in my dreams.

"Welp, she's not dead," DSKay Nautical or DS said. I was baffled, my own creations, standing in front of me. Kayry Nautical rolled her eyes and knelt beside me and looked me over.

"No injuries," she smiled. I stood up, still numb with shock and disbelief.

"Wh-what happened? Am I dreaming?" I asked them. Quinn, a young little wolf hybrid laughed.

"No ma'am! You're as awake as a cat on caffeine!" Quinn smiled, making Dr. Sofie laugh. I sat back down on the edge of the fountain that was located in the middle of a huge park in the futuristic city. I wasn't dreaming? This was real?

"Yes Katiebug, you're not dreaming and this is real. All this, this entire universe of yours, all exists because of you. You brought us to life. Your dreams have become a reality," Dr. Sofie said sitting beside me. I looked at the ego I had created, the ego who I wanted to be when I got older. I held her hand, feeling warmth and magic, reassuring me this was very real.

"Everything that is or was, began with a dream," I whispered to myself. I looked up at the city that I had created, it was beginning to wake up, its inhabitants slowly starting their day as if they've been doing it forever. Dragons flew into the sky, cars and carriages drove around, and some of the vehicles transformed into robots that barely passed all the giants' waist, and I beamed at the mere sight of them. Giants walked in wider sheets waving hello to the tinies surrounding them. Benders, people, animatronics, furries, and pokemon were everywhere and... I started crying.

"Uh oh! Kathryn Reily Nautical are you okay?!" Kay asked looking worriedly into my face.

"Yeah, I-I'm just so happy right now! Everything I've ever imagined... Its... amazing," I whisper happily, tears falling down my face. Sofie rubs my back as I cry and DS scoffs and glares at people who look at us five. I see a young girl with bright eyes approach us and give me a curtsy.

"It's amazing to meet you Miss Empress Katie," she smiles and shoves a flower into my hand. She runs back to her mom. I looked confused. Empress? I then noticed the blue monster marks on Sofie, Kay, DS, and Quinn's right cheeks and I look. into the water to see that I had one too.

"The Moonstar mark," I started, looking back at my egos. Kay smiles.

"It shows that you're the creator and ruler and that we're your personal friends," Kay sums up.

"The Empress of Light and Dark is nothing to sneeze at Bug," DS smirks.

"So I created this world, no, universe all on my own and now I rule it?!" I cried, happy but overwhelmed at the same time. Quinn nods. Wow... this really was happening... my dreams, my nightmares, my imagination... it was all real now. It was all in one big universe.

"So... What do I do now?" I asked my egos, who giggled in response. Sofie rose to her feet and grabbed my hand. All five of us made our way through the city that I recognized as Ivory, my capital city. I couldn't believe I knew all of this, but I created it so I guess I would have too.

"Welp, you're the creator of all this, but you still got a lot of work to do. You gotta get an official coronation, organize cities, and a lot of other stuff," Kay stated, skipping beside the group. I smiled and just watched everything as we walked. I was baffled no doubt and it would probably take me some few days to recover but one thing bothered me. I had a power that created a universe! A Creator's Power... I only dreamed about this power. Very few humans are given this gift and use it for the greater good of themselves and Reality. And I used it to make Lightverse. I looked down at my hand, seeing no glow coming from it. I tried to grow a flower but nothing happened. I tried something else and I summoned my weapon of choice; a huge blue and white scythe that made the girls jump a bit.

DS laughed. "That's a badass weapon!" she said, her smug yet pleased look ever-present. Quinn huffed and crossed her arms.

"You scared me!" she whined.

"Sorry! I was just trying to figure out my power," I replied as I made my scythe disappear. "All I can do right now if summon the scythe. I cant create anything!"

"Maybe its a one time only thing?" Kay asked Sofie. The Darkurian Sizeshifter shook her head.

"No, Katie should have full control over it. Able to create things at will. Maybe it's just worn out. Creating Lightverse had to be no easy task," Sofie said. I sighed and nodded my head. Maybe it was just worn out. At least I can summon a weapon if I needed one. I smile as we continue on to the castle. This was definitely going to be one heck of an adventure!
