"are you ready to go on stage?" the ssg officer asked me.

i looked at him straight in the eyes and said "ready as i'll ever be."

the school had a lot of free time considering that we were advanced in a way so the ssg decided to make a contest showing your talents but most of us know the ones that are going to win are the people that had the kpop idol energy in them.

i went on stage and got the mic from the person backstage and went to the middle of the stage where there was an x mark telling the contestants that we have to stand there while introducing.

one of the judges said "honey!! i love the outfit," and yes we know that when that statement comes from a male gay judge it's true. the outfit i'm wearing was a black open jacket, white crop-top, and matching black cargo pants and of course my mask. (a/n: btw your mask is just like a black mask covering only your nose and mouth)

i'm an introverted person i don't have much friends and i never really liked socializing and that's why i chose to keep my identity so that no one will judge me now that they know that i dance, sing and rap for fun.

"well i might say i have the fashionista in me," you smirked even though you know it's not gonna be seen because of your mask.

"what's your name dear?"

"i'd like to keep it a secret but call me Only,"

"Only? why only?"

"well it has something to do with my last name and of course when you see my talent i'll be the only one you'll be seeing," ok i didn't know i had that swag in me.

"well ok let's see what you have," said a female judge.

the intro of "oh my god" by (g)i-dle started, i decided that i was going to sing, dance of course rap to it since i cant over the song so much.

i started the intro line and danced to it as well. i know i'm not the greatest at singing but in this song i decided to highlight my rapping skills with the fourth verse. i mean it's not to impress the group (g)i-dle who literally are my batch mates or anything *wink wink*

i know it's a bit seductive considering the clothing i chose and the sound and the move to that particular sound, but it was fun since people didn't know who i was.

the song ended and i was heaving trying to catch my breath my abs literally full of sweat same as my forehead and upper chest.

people started whooping and clapping and cheering.

"OH MY GOD YOU ARE SO GOOD!!!" i looked over to the audience and saw one of (g)i-dle's members shuhua standing up and screaming.

and to my surprise soyeon, the most badass person i have ever encountered stood up and clapped for me.

everyone was shocked students, judges, teachers, even the ssg members were shocked. they didn't know they had someone as talented as Only.

"if only we could see through that mask," nayeon of twice said. "i couldn't agree more. i really want to know who she is," red velvet's irene replied.

"well Only. I don't even have to ask my fellow judges their answer since we all know that everyone is going to say yes,"

the audience laughed but agreed at the same time. the school was filled with idols considering it was a popular film, arts, music and entertainment school packed in one where even students outside the school stay tuned in with the students idol or not idol and surprisingly you passed in such a good school.

"thank you," you replied to everyone while running backstage. the adrenaline coursing through your veins was enough to make you believe that what happened didn't just happen.

now you want to see your fellow students reaction to your performance. knowing that your best friend mina from twice and the ssg members are the only that knows your identity and they made it clear to keep it a secret to the rest of the school.

you went to your dressing room and went back to your normal clothes: a sweater, large pants and rubber shoes. exiting the room you went to the audience and looked for mina.

you finally found her seeing that she saved you a seat leaving you beside her and (g)i-dle's soyeon. your heart was racing since you were afraid that she didn't like your performance and was just giving you a fake round of applause earlier.

"hey y/n," mina whispered to you. you looked at her with a raised eyebrow and asked "what?"

"did you see Only!!?" loud enough for the rest of (g)-idle and twice to hear making them turn their heads towards mina.

"SHE WAS SO COOL,"

"HER ABS ARE EVERYTHING—"

"SHE SANG IT BETTER THAN I DID"

"SHE MADE ME FEEL HORNY,"

"SHE SOUNDED LIKE ME IN THE RAP VERSE IM EVEN SURPRISED!"

"she was ok i guess," you said in a very monotone voice looking at your phone which you were scrolling through and everyone was glaring at you. "how dare you say she was only OK to MY ONLY like that?!" sana said.

"excuse me? YOUR ONLY!? for all i know i'll get her heart faster than jisoo eating a whole bucket of chicken!" yuqi said standing up.

mina laughed and said "if we only knew who she was," and grinned looking at you.

you didn't even know how you weren't blushing and how you were still breathing up to this point knowing that twice and (g)i-dle genuinely liked your performance, wait not like, LOVED your performance and it made you laugh.

all the girls looked at you very suspiciously and you started to look at them one by one knowing that they have questioning eyes and a wondering mind, but all chaos was released once you said:

"i might know her,"
