When i woke up that day , Chase was nowhere to be found on the bed , he had become too much busy lately , which was annoying

I got up and washed my face and mouth , i stood in front of the mirror checking myself out , noticing how my body had started to change , my belly started to pop out, my boobs were getting bigger

Which was why i decided to finally tell him

that's what i planned to do at least

I went down , but no one was around , except for the maids and Bobby , he came to me and told me that my breakfast was ready , i asked him about the others and he told me each of them had his own business to do

While i was sitting on the dinning table slowly having my breakfast , i heard the front door being opened , it was Chase ; "morning " i said as he walked to me , he didn't seem pleased , he smiled at me before kissing my head and walking away

He called for Bobby and went to him to the kitchen , Chase told Bobby something but I wasn't able to hear it , Bobby froze in his place as he glanced over me , surprised , more like shocked , he looked back at Chase and nodded his head stumbling

I watched as Bobby walked away and went upstairs , Chase turned to me and took his seat on the table with me ; " hey what was that about?" I questioned, he looked at me strangely , , he took his time thinking before he could answer ; " i asked him to pack up your things, we're leaving this place " he answered and i narrowed my eyes at him

He made that decision without asking me , which was weird , but I didn't overthink about it , cause I thought he was doing what was right for both of us

" and where will we be going ?" I asked once again ; " it's a surprise , get dressed, I'll wait for you outside " he said as he got up only for me to grab him by his arm ; " wait , i need to tell you something " i said and we gazed at each other in silence

I was willing to do it

" I'm-" I started right before i was interrupted by his phone ringing ; " tell me on the road " he said as he pulled away from me and answered his call , walking outside

I went to the bedroom to get changed , Bobby was already done and was going to take the bag downstairs, I thanked him before he left and closed the door

I changed my clothes and adjusted myself before going down , Chase was still on the phone , but he hung up when he saw me , we got inside the car and he started to drive

The ride was oddly silent , he seemed weird that morning , different than usual , different than the times when he used to be different and angry , I thought maybe I should've said something , ask him what was bothering him , but I didn't

I realised that once again i was interrupted by something when i was about to tell him that i was pregnant

Maybe that was a sign

In the road I noticed that we had arrived to an airport ; " wow , we're going outside the country?" I said as excitement filled my body , and a little confusion , cause at first i thought we were merely going to some other house , far from the city

" yeah " he answered back as he took off his seat belt , without even looking at me , i took off my belt too and got out of the car , Chase had already grabbed the bag and we went inside

Suddenly , we stopped , he grabbed something from his pocket , it turned out to be my passport , he handed it to me ; " waw , you really got everything prepared " i expressed as i smiled at him , and he slightly smiled back , a cold smile

" so , when is our flight ?" I asked , and he froze , his skin paled and his eyes turned cold and dead , a muscle in his jaw twitched ; " Eda , I'm not going with you " he stated , i narrowed my brows , my eyes widened as confusion hit me

" what do you mean ?" I asked him again
; " you're going to England , for that scholarship of yours " he said again and i almost choked at his sentence , at first i thought he was joking so I couldn't help but to let out a small chuckle

" you're kidding right ?" His facial expression didn't change , he was being serious ; " right?" My heart started to beat so fast , I didn't know what was happening at that moment ; " look" he pointed his finger behind me , i turned to find my school's principal , Madam McCarty standing there with her bag as well

" i talked to her , she said the scholarship is still available , for you , she's willing to go there with you for instructions " he told me and I couldn't believe my ears , I turned to face him with a shocking face on me ; "oh my god you're serious?" I stumbled over my words

" this isn't working anymore " he said lowly and my shock couldn't get any worse , my lips parted as i felt tears filling my eyes ; " what are you talking about ?"

" this isn't working between us anymore , it must end , now " his voice was stern and his eyes were cold , staring right into my soul ; " are you listening to yourself right now ?" I said as i stepped closer only for him to step away from me

" is this about Luca ? I thought you once told me that whatever happens we will fight it together! Remember? " I said but he didn't seem to be affected

" why? What is the reason ?" I questioned him ;
" Eda " he said as he turned away and I insisted on knowing the reason of his sudden action ;
" No ! I wanna know why !?" ; " You're distracting me from work " he stated in a high tone making me shiver in my place ; " wh..what?"

" that's right , you're being a distraction to me , and I don't like that , my work is very important" he said again , sounding more serious than ever
" more than me ?" I said in a low tone ; " yes" he replied and tears started to fall down my cheeks

" it's my family 's business, I can't let it fall apart because of.." he said again as he waved his hand to me ; " i talked to your grandmother too , she'll take care of all your financial matters , you don't need to worry about that " that was the last straw for me , what he said triggered me and I couldn't help but to slap him on the face

The slap was so hard that my own hand was stinging me , he didn't seem bothered about it though ; " if you're serious right now , and you mean every word , I'll leave and you'll never see my face ever again " i told him as i wiped away my tears , my voice was strong , I didn't want him to see me vulnerable because of him

He gazed at me , his eyes fixed on mine , he kept silent for a moment before speaking ; " leave " he said with full confidence, unbothered again . I nodded my head before grabbing my bag and walking away from him

Everything turned blank for me , i felt like the whole world was spinning around me , I didn't bother to turn to look at him for one last time , as much as I wanted to , I couldn't , he didn't deserve it , he didn't deserve me

I once left him because his life was in danger because of me , but now he was leaving me because i distract him from work ? the silliest reason ever , I thought he loved me purely , but i was wrong , i was mistaken , our love was a lie , it was a joke for him , was I a plaything to him? To play with anytime he desires ?

Out of so much rage and anger , i agreed to get on the plane with principal McCarty , i knew that was a bit reckless , I didn't know anything about the country i was going to , i had no one there , speak of people , I hadn't said goodbye to anyone i knew

At that moment i felt hatred towards Chase , i hated him for forcing me to leave like that , without a notice , he grabbed me and threw me to reality , as if i didn't have a choice

And the most important thing was that i hated my love for him

I wondered what would've he done if i told him that i was pregnant?He would've forced me to abort the child as well , which is why i thanked god for not telling him , I didn't know what principal McCarty knew about us , or him , but i guessed he told her some reasonable story that's why she didn't ask me any questions

My life was going to change completely , new country , new people and new lifestyle , and the biggest problem was that i was pregnant , and I hadn't made up my mind wether to keep it or not

How would people treat a young student with a child ? How was i gonna organise my time while having a baby ?

I cleared my mind and took a deep breath , I convinced myself that i was capable of doing this
