Angel's POV

It never occurred to me that Halo thought if  me that way .  I knew she wasn't fond
me  , but thinking I am taking advantage of them is beyond me .

I always thought I would grow on her , since I taught her ballet for a few months , babysited her and Heaven that things might get better that she might start to like me  , but it has only gotten worse . I feel disappointed . I have tried to somehow interact with her in all those moments , but all my efforts failed .

I straighten the last section of my hair then pull it into a bun . I usually blow it out with the hairdryer , but straighten it will make it last longer . I wear my sweatpants on with a hoodie and sneakers then grab my ballet bag place my thights , leotard , my pointed shoes with my new phone I recently bought for myself and my wallet then head out .

" You are going to teach ?" Heaven asks once I step I the living room  . "  Yes , I am . I have to go early because I have classes to teach . Meet you at one , yeah ? " I say looking down at her brushing some hair out of her face . I turn to Halo who has been ignoring my presence since I walked in .

" I hope you finished your food and not just threw it away when no one was looking " I say , teasing . " No ...?" I raise my eyebrow in  question when she looks at me unsure .

" You should not throw your food away , Heaven . It makes you grow .  And some people are looking for food while you are just throwing it away . It is not good , sweetheart ." I tell her softly

" I'm sorry . I didn't know . " Heaven says , looking at her feet " it's alright , next time think about it " I smile at her . From the corner of my eye I see Halo dramatically rolling her eyes at my words .

What am I going to do with her ?

I wave them good-bye then walk out of the house , infront of the driveway is a black Audi A8 Quattro and Julio ; the guy I remember as my bodyguard standing next to it . Once he sees me , he smirks .

" I see we meet again . " he says with a smug expression probably recalling how pissed I was when he was my bodyguard . I roll my eyes at him .

" Where is your friend ? " I ask refering to the one that was with him the other time .

" He has been assigned to other works . I'll be your driver for today ."  He says , open the door for me  ,I climb in .

" First my bodyguard now my driver ?" I groan . I can't spend another day with him, he is a bit talkative for my liking and asks too much questions .

" Of course , my duty  is to keep you safe while Boss man isn't around . So , where to ma'am ? "

After hours of teaching it is finally break time , and I decide to eat in a cafe few blocks down the dance building .

I go in then go straight to line up on the line once it is my turn I start to order " A cappochino with extra sugar and three butter croissants . " I order . " Thank you " I say once it is served . I balancing the food on my hands and my purse , I turn around only to crash into a soft chest and a shriek follows soon after .

" my god !" I look down at the woman who looks to be in her twenties in horror . " I'm so so sorry " I say hurriedly taking some tissues from the counter tops  and whipe her white sweater .
" You are only making it worse ! " She exclaims , attracting more attention towards us . " I really am sorry . I can buy you some coffee and croissants ?" I ask sheepishly , holding up the food to indicate .

I show her the way to the table and order again once done , I place it infront of her on the table then sit opposite her .

" I'm sorry again . I hope this makes it up to you . If you want I can repay yo-" I am cut off by her hand raise indicating me to stop
" It's okay . Just a coffee stain , how hard it can be to get it off ? " She says with a small smile . " Yeah ..." " I'm Angel , by the way . " I say smiling extending my hand .
" Eleanor "  she shakes my hand . She has brown  short hair reaching above her shoulder curled , brown eyes and lips stain with red lipstick .

" What do you do for a living ?" I ask trying to spark a conversation . " I'm a photographer . What about you ? " she aks smiling .
" A ballet teacher and dancer" her eyes widen .

" That's great . I'm actually looking for a muse . I am working on a project of different art and since you are a dancer , how would you like I  take pictures of you while dancing ? It will be a great piece for my project ." She asks looking hopefully .

" I don't know , I only dance at my work place . And i can't really take you there because they don't allow a teacher making business out of their business .  " I tell her .

"Then my project can be about all the dances at your workplace . You  can  help me ask the owner if I can do it , so  it will be a win win  . I get to take pictures of you all and post it on my project and you and your work place get more recognition of your work . How does that sound ? " She ask looking .

" That is a lot to ask to a person you just met ." I raise my eyebrow at her .
" It is business . When I see a chance to do business , I take it " Elenor says confidently .
" I will see what I can do "

We exchange numbers to keep in touch  then part ways . When my workday is over I wait for Julio to come and pick me up once he arrives we drive straight at home .

After forty minutes of him telling me about his goal once he save up money - which I am stunned by him being so comfortable enough to tell me all this , we finally arrived home .

I go to shower and rest until a maid wakes me up for dinner . I arrive in the dining room and see the girls already sitted waiting for the foods . " Where is your dad ?" I ask Heaven . " In his office . He says he has lots of work to do . " Heaven answer , I nod in understanding .  The food is served and We eat in silence .  After what happened in the morning the air has been tense whenever I am with the girls .  Anger radiates off Halo towards me , and Heaven looking between us worriedly as if waiting for one of us to crack .

When done eating dinner , I decide to bring dinner to Lucas , since he didn't come out of his office tonight. I knock twice on the door few seconds later he responds .
" Hey " I smile at him " I brought you food you since didn't come down to eat with us " I place it on his coffee table in his mini living room he has in his office . He removes his tie and stands  up hovering over me . I stand tall not to show how flustered I am by his height .

" Thank you . Work been keeping me busy , I had lots of paperwork  do fill . How was your day ? "   He walks over the table and sits he gestures for me to sit opposite him , I do . " Good . Taught classes the whole day I even got a proposal for  photoshoots  of me dancing while I was getting coffee at the shop " I narrat my day to him feeling supringly casual about it . 

" You went there alone ?" He stops eating  , the fork half  towards his mouth . He raise his eyebrow in question making him look ten times hotter .
" Yes . My coworkers were busy , so it was just me " I shrug his face changes in a angry one now it my turn to look at him questionably .

" You can't just go alone anywhere , Angel . it's risky . Now that the Mafias are on the lookout for you , you are quite expose ." He frowns in worry . " Nothing happened to me , don't worry . If I saw that it was dangerous I wouldn't go . at all . " I tell him trying to get him out of it .

He shakes his "Besides where you live , they might track you down to where you work . They could have found you and you don't have any weapons on you nor do you know how to defend yourself "

I frown " I can  defend myself " I say . If only he knew the hours of self defence sessions i take twice a week .

But he doesn't . You haven't told him your past yet .

Right .

" I'm not talking about the time you through the wooden bat at the killer , Angel " Lucas says amuse recalling the first time he saved me from a death situation . I scoff " which  by the saved  you " he chulkles then he stops his facial expression turning back to the worry expression .

" I'm serious , Angel it's risky ." I cross my arms looking at him " what do you want me to do ? Not go to work ?" He frowns leaning back on the couch ." of course not . It is your life . I'm not going to tell you what to do with it just because you live with me ,"

"All I want you to do is to take precautions incase they come back ."  " which are ? " " Getting training sessions ."

" Training sessions ? "

How did you find the chapter ? Angel will be getting some training sessions 😏.

How do you find the story so far ?

A new character has been mentioned. It  just felt right to mention her now , if some of you are thinking about why I didn't mention her in the beginning of the story  the beginning was for Angel and Lucas to interact first between them and people living at home . I didn't want to add other characters yet . They will be few of them , friends and family but for now it's just them . Eleanor will appear again later on the story along with the others .
