Sophie:

As soon as Sophie went into the Maids' Stationary Room, she collapsed on her small mattress that laid on the floor, ready to drift off to sleep.

But just as she was about to sleep, her hidden earpiece blared with noise. She had a earpiece so that she could communicate with the Black Swan very easily and effectively. They hardly ever talked on the earpiece, so when Sophie got a signal, meaning the Black Swan needed to talk to her, it only meant two things.

A, being there was a change of plans, or B, something VERY bad happened, meaning somebody possibly died, or one of the Black Swan hideouts was found, anything similar to that.

They rarely talked with the earpiece because the Black Swan knew that Sophie would not have a lot of free time to talk to them, and talking to what seems like nobody will draw suspicion to her.

"Moonlark, are you there?" Mr Forkle's stuffy voice screeched through the earpiece. Moonlark was her code name, so that nobody would find out her identity. The earpiece was practically impossible to hack, by hacking other rebel groups such as the Neverseen could listen through the conversation, but that didn't mean it was impossible.

"Just let me do the dishes first," Sophie quietly replied, it was a secret code meaning I can't talk now. The Black Swan had created a bunch of new secret code messages that would work for Sophie being a maid. Since Sophie was a maid, nobody would suspect a thing if she said she was going to wash the dishes.

The thing is, there is different types of maids, there are Cookery Maids who stay in the kitchen, they wash the dishes and keep the kitchen clean. There is a set of maids who are called Stationary Maids, they are the type of maids that set the decorations out for the events and help out with it. They don't really have a specific place they clean, they just kinda go wherever the events are hosted. There are the Lavatory Maids, who do the bathrooms, there is also the Nobility Maids, who work for the Nobility such as Royal families like the Sencen, visitors and more. The Nobility Maids are the highest ranking of maids, then Stationary Maids, then Cookery Maids, and lastly Lavatory Maids.

Sophie was part of the Nobility Maids, but nobody really checks what part of maid Sophie is when she is in the Maids' Stationary Room, therefore making it easier to disguise herself or go to different locations she wouldn't be able to go to as a Nobility Maid.

Sophie walked out of the Maids' Stationary Room, even with photographic memory, it was nearly impossible for Sophie to figure out how to go to the garden.

After nearly 20 minutes of wandering around the hallways, she checked the place to make sure nobody was in sight, Sophie decided it was fine to talk to Mr Forkle.

She pressed the button to talk back to Mr Forkle.

"Alright, I'm out of sight, what do you need to talk about?"

"There's a change of plans, you know how the Masquerade Ball of the year is tomorrow, right?"

Sophie replied with a yes, it was practically impossible to forget about Biana throwing dresses all over the place, along with those 10 inch heels, throwing a fit because the Masquerade Ball was moved to tomorrow. She basically had a meltdown when Sophie had told her about the Masquerade Ball being moved to another day. Finally at last Sophie and Halley were able to calm Biana down, apparently Biana was complaining how she had done so much work to dress the three up when there was not even a Ball that day. But she cheered up when she realized she just got an extra day to dress them up, it was quite the experience. Mr Forkle's scratchy voice blared through and snapped Sophie out of her trance.

"Well, since you have not brought a bunch of attention I assume, you will be able to do our plan. We DEFINITELY do not want you to be one of the chosen maids that got to go to the Masquerade Ball, in order to have our plan work. You haven't brought a lot of attention to you, have you?"

"Not that I believe,"

"Good, because we will need you to assassin Lady Gisela, we suspect she is the leader of the Neverseen."

"LEADER?!" Sophie shouted, then brought her voice quieter.

"But why? She is the queen! She has everything she wants, doesn't she? So why would she join the Neverseen?"

"Ah, but she doesn't have everything she wants. She wants revenge, and to rule the ENTIRE world. But she can't, she will never get it being a queen."

"Uh, ain't she a queen? Is that really not enough power for her? Is she really that power hungry?"
Sophie was confused on why anybody would want so much pressure of having to rule the world on themselves, it just seems like way too much work for one person.

"Yes, and that is what makes her even scarier, she already has a lot of power, having her get even more power will make her invincible. That is why we need you just to be a normal maid, you will hand out drinks to people, you may have to knock a butler unconscious so that you can take the role of handing out drinks. Make sure to save one drink for Lady Gisela, put poison into her drink, she will be there sitting on her throne. She usually loves drinking large amounts of alcohol, so try to offer her the drink you saved. Make sure to stay hidden within the crowd, don't draw too much attention to your self. On top of that, we will need you to keep her son safe no matter what, we need to keep Prince Keefe safe more than Gisela being poisoned. If there is any chance of Prince Keefe getting hurt while you are trying to poison his mom, just drop the plan and keep him safe. We can't risk losing him, he may be very important to our future plans. You think you got that?" 

"Mhm, I think I am going to use Mercury as for the poison type, or should I use Arsenic? Arsenic is very deadly, it also lacks color, smell and taste, which will make my job a lot easier to hide the poison in her drink. It's also one of the most preferred poison, when taken in high dosage Arsenic causes severe abdominal cramps, vomiting, and ultimately death. Or I could also Cyanide, It is a rare toxin but on the other hand it assures confirmed death if one intakes it. It works by making the body unable to use life-sustaining oxygen. It can be found in various   substances like almonds, apple seeds, apricot kernel, tobacco smoke, insecticides, pesticides etc. It can be used in gaseous form also which is known as hydrogen cyanide in its gaseous form. The most famous example of this is the Nazi Germany for mass murders in gas chambers during the Holocaust and killing of Jews. Hmh, so hard to decide, I usually like using the Cryanide for poison. What do you think Mr Forkle?"

"I think you should stick with Arsenic, it's easy to hide it in drinks, I know you prefer using Cryanide when using poison, but Arsenic is the easiest to get and has the best advantage in this situation."

"Alright, sounds good to me, is there anything else I need to know?"

"No, Miss Moonlark, just remember the plan, talk to me once you have poisoned Lady Gisela or if there is a change of plans, I think you should get going, I will make sure that you will have all the supplies you need."

"Alright bye Mr Forkle, talk to ya later."

"Bye,"

The conversation ended there, Sophie checked her surroundings, making sure nobody was near, after Sophie was certain nobody was there, she started walking back to the Maids' Stationary Room.

Pretending like nothing happened she opened the door, went into the bathroom and changed into her pajamas. She had accidentally dropped one of her daggers she had hidden in her maid suit, it made a loud clang, she quickly picked it, glad that nobody was currently in the bathroom stalls. Sophie collapsed onto her thin mattress, most of the maids were sleeping by now, others probably still doing their work.

The Maids' Stationary Room had over 50 thin mattresses in multiple lines on the floor. Each had a name on top for which mattress goes to whose. Then on Sophie's left was 2 huge combined bathroom stalls for the maids, it had over 50 stalls too, making the bathroom bigger than most people's house.

Sophie dug through her bag, she did not bring much, she only brought red and black clothing, Ella her favorite and only stuffed Elephant, and lastly a old cheap portable cassette player with headphones. The cassette player was the only thing she had left from her parents who she thought was her biological parents other than Amy, but apparently she was told by Mr Forkle she was adopted. They had died in a car crash when she was 6, Grady and Edaline adopted them soon after.

Aside from that, the reason why Sophie only really wears black, neutral, or red clothings was because it would not show blood or any poison leftover once she was done with her job.

After a while Sophie finally drifted off to sleep.
