Chapter twelve

Sana's pov:

"I've been confirmed from some of my agents that's there's a case in the mansion of my uncle up on a mountain." I informed my club members as they looked completely bored at me staring bluntly at me.

"So?" Jordan asked raising a suspicious eyebrow at me.

"Please don't tell me you want us to go and investigate that matter." Nick said as I nodded at them.

"That's just you being your normal nosey self, let the cops handle it." Skylar said as I flickered his forehead with my two fingers.

"Cops can't handle the risks we take, cops don't know the knowledge we have, and cops are too lazy all they're good at is eating donuts." I stated proudly but then feeling shameful for the police officers.

"Fine whatever, if this makes you shut up then so be it." Jordan said as I wanted to run and hug him but I rather not.

"But in one condition." Nick said smirking as I gulped. "You have to bring a girl with you whose hot." He said as I sighed in relief.

"Oh ok, that's better more than I thought" I said.

"I'm sure rape is going to occur in the mansion then." Kaito said as nick grinned not a care in the world.

We all packed up, we are going to stay there for five days. My uncle's mansion is actually on an island near the coast. We rode a boat there and joked around.

I brought a friend who is my neighbor nut we don't attend the same school together. She's so sweet and innocent looking. She shoulder length light pink hair and has a braid in place if a hair band. Her eyes are in a darker pink color.

The apparently wanted someone sluty with big boobs but I refused and then they finally agreed on her. Her name's cylestia, an odd name but suits her well.

We arrived after two hours of boat riding, seasickness, and slight cramps.my two uncle's welcomed us with their maid to their mansion.

The uncle that owns this mansion is Robert the older and he's 40 the oldest brother in my mother's family, according to her the oldest one is my aunt ammonia she's 45 I guess, yeah her name is in chemistry hehe, and the younger one brother living with him is Rick and he's 32 my mom is 35. The youngest on in all is kento.

"So, who died?" I said excitedly as Skylar elbowed me.

"That much on a hurry, honestly I made it up in order you to come and see me." Uncle Robert said as Rick hugged me.

"We missed you, AL you care about now is crime solving, leave it to the cops." Rick said still holding me in his arms.

"That's what we told her." The guts said sighing as cylestia giggled.

We ate our lunch that was fantastic, my uncle Robert sure knows how to cook, the maid helped him a little. The maid Sonia has been with Robert for at least six years, she's 37 now. She has short black hair and purple eyes. Opposite of Robert who has blonde hair and brown eyes.

Rick on the other hand had brown hair and eyes. My grandma got remarried shortly after grandpa died and Robert is the step brother of Rick but they are really close. Some think I'm actually robes daughter because we have more in common in the features.

Me and cylestia sat in our room and talked about each other's lives. The boys room was next door, literally. I can hear their bickering and yelling right through the wall.

"Shut up!" I yelled and proceeded the conversation with her.

The next day:

At dinner we ate together in silence, uncle Rick looked stressed before and said he had some errans to run and the maid was absent for some peculiar reason and uncle Robert hadn't come down yet to eat.

I decided to go up and bring him his food. Our rooms are on the second floor. I walked to the end of the hall holding the heavy tray of food, I should of asked one of the guys to come with me and carry it.

I knocked on the door thrice, and turned the golden handle of the wooden door but it wouldn't open. I tried pushed the door open after I set the tray on the ground but it wouldn't bugge.

I yelled for my friends to come and help me and they quickly ran up to me. I was hyperventilating, I was afraid that something happened to my uncle. The guys brought a big narrow iron hanger and slammed it with the door multiple times and they yelled out his name but he wouldn't answer.

The door flew open as the guys fell on the ground I'm avail.

Kaito's pov:

I heard two screams behind me, we all looked behind us, cylestia fainted on the ground as Sana had hee hand on her mouth with wide eyes.

We averted our eyes to the front to see Robert sitting in his chair head on his desk blood oozing from him all over his desk, chair and on the floor. The computer in front of him was turned of.

We ran up to him, as Skylar took the girls away from the scene. we found sir Robert dead in his locked room a knife stabbed in his chest located above the heart area.

Victim looked pale and was very cold. It seemed that he was killed a few hours or at least an hour ago, I can't tell. We tried to call the police but the line was cut.

"Holy shit! I never thought a real crime would happen!" Nick said as he looked pissed off as he hit the wall with his fist.

"The culprit might be still lurking around, we need to be careful. " I said as we saw the maid holding a basket of tropical fruit but fell shortly when she saw.

"Who...who d-did this?" She said trembling her breath shaky.

"Where were you?" Nick asked as Jordan face-palmed.

"Obviously she was picking fruit." He said as nick murmured " I knew that...."

The window was found forcibly opened, I checked and the door seemed to be locked from the inside. His brother Rick is no where to be found.

"Hey, you might wanna take a look at this."Jordan said referring to the keyboard.

The letters M L B were only covered in blood. Why only three letters, what do they mean? What do they stand for? Sonia doesn't have the letter nor robert. Maybe referring to their nicknames or something?

"Uhhhh..." I yelled rubbing my head. " this is so frustrating!"

"Calm down, let's check on the girls, and every single room in this mansion." Nick said.

Skylar's pov:

"Sana!" I yelled as she was standing on the railings of the balcony trying to grab her fallen necklace, she lowered herself but slipped and fell off the porch and landed in a ditch I think.

"Is everything alright?" Kaito asked entering the room as I shook my head. Cylestia was laying in her bed but Sana is probably laying in her grave.

"Where's sana!?" Nick asked startled as I pointed down the balcony, it's to dark to see anything.

"Skylar stay here, nick check the rooms, me and Jordan will look for sana." Kaito said as the three of them ran out and split.

"The troubles you get me into." I said sighing as i locked tge door incase, and returned to the balcony, it's pouring cats and dogs out there, I hope she's fine, she did fall from the second floor.....oh god please be okay!

Jordan's pov:

We ran around the mansion calling out her name. I noticed the ship that took us here disappeared, the murderer probably used it as an escape plan.

"Did you find anythung?" Kaito asked " not yet." I said as we suddenly heard something walking towards us as Kaito held up a gun Skylar gave him.

"Sana?" We asked as she looked annoyed holding up her locket necklace in her hand.

"I'm glad you're okay!" Kaito said flowers appearing as his oura and tears forming in his eyes.

"Where'd you get that jacket from?" I asked her suspiciously.

"I found it in the place I fell." She stated casually putting on the necklace as I stared at the green jacket and found some red on it.

"Do you know to who this jacket belongs to?" I asked waking closer to her and examine it as I held her arms up and looked down.

"What are you looking at you perv!" She yelled pulling her arms away from my grasp.

"It's uncle Rick's jacket." She said, I noticed she had a deep cut on her legs.

"You were limping towards us, weren't you." I stated as she blushed a bit, she was hiding the fact that she got hurt.

"Come on." Kaito said as he lowered himself as she climbed on his back.

We entered the mansion again and this time I felt pain kick in. I held my stomach as I felt drowsy and dizzy.

Nick's pov:

I searched the first and second floors. I kept the maid with me if she tries to do anything funny. Rick's room was full of pictures....come to think of it I noticed lots of red marks on Roberts face, sana appeared in many that made me worry about her.

She's probably alive and still kicking as always. After I checked the attic I went down, I saw sana on Kaito's back and Jordan, they were completely soaked.

Suddenly Jordan fell on the ground gripping his stomach, I went and grabbed him, I put him the the girls room and Kaito lowered sana beside cylestia on the bed.

"Food poisoning." Skylar said as he checked his temperature, he then started puking as sana started yelling. The room stinked but it's safer to stay here.

He only suspects here are the maid and mister Rick the brother of the victim, since the brother is no where to be found he's the only one who might of did it.

Sana refused to stay in bed and wanted to come with us.

Kaito's pov:

I helped sana to the other room where the victim lays. We started making assumptions about the crime.

"Rick probably dud it to have the mansion all for himself, and he loved the maid so in order to make his plan a success he killed his brother but ran away...leaving his love behind?" Nick said but sounded confused at the end.

"The maid probably wanted the mansion and money all to herself so she killed robert and got rid of Rick too." I said, sana kept quiet not uttering a single word so I patted her on the head.

"Everything's going to be alright." I said as she sweat-dropped.

But then I told her to bring us a drink so I can see is my theory is correct.

Sana's pov:

I held a bottle of water and walked to the room, I found Kaito and nick fighting furiously over what happened. Then suddenly nick took out a knife and held Kaito captive as I dropped the bottle of watter.

"No, no, no, no, no, NO!" I yelled at them as stared at them in horror as they didn't stop and as nick was about to stab kaito, uncle robert got up and held them.

"Ahh....uh..uncle robert you're alive!" I said astonished.

"Drop the act, I knew it from the start." Kaito said as I sighed.

"So you figured out my brilliant game." I said as Rick came out of the closet.

"Wait, so all this time you were in the closet." Skylar said appearing out of no where, as we laughed at him.

I went to the basement looking for some spare clothes and I found this teddy bear hidden inside a black box. I held the bear up admiring it for a moment then put it back in the box and took the box up with me.
