The night had passed on and the elves were doing what Lothlórien elves did in the morning. Braigeth was speaking to the birds. "Who was that elf?" The bird asked in its own language.

"It a was an elf named Haldir. He was part of the guard. He must've never seen me before." She said chirping.

"He made you smile. Elves do not often do so. And he called you fair, you are not keen on being called that." She smiled and pet the bird's wings.

"You are only a young bird." She chirped.

Haldir was coming her way to help teach her how to fight. She heard the cry of a bear and she stood up and ran its way. Her green clothing was shorter now, with the sleeves cut and she had looked tougher. Her silver hair flew behind her. She ran to the edge of the forest and past, Haldir running after her.

She ran to the bear with haste and saw a sword in its side. She put her hand on the wound and the vines on her arm started to heal the bear. "Lady!" A man shouted. She turned her head to him.

"You and your men kill this innocent bear?" She snarled.

"We needed food! He will fill is up for days!" She rubbed the bears back.

"I do not suggest you kill any more animals for your food! He is innocent and not what man should eat!" She said sternly. She stood up and her vines wrapped around her arm. "That is an innocent bear! He has done nothing wrong! If you would like food, I have some." She said to the man. She knelt down by the bear. "You come with me." She said in a bear language.

Haldir had seen her once the men were gone. "What place do the men come from?" He asked her.

"They come from Dale. They are traveling all around. They have found here and killed an innocent bear. I saved him, but my vines had been not enough. The man's sword slashed him too much. The poor bear could not stand up. I said to take the bear and eat it as far off as they could." She sadly spoke. "But the innocence of the bear is beyond thought to those men." She looked at Haldir.

He had taught her how to use a sword better than she knew how. They are fighting with them. His sword nearly went to her stomach before she did a back-hand-sprang and blocked him from doing so. "Where did you learn that?" Haldir asked.

"How do you expect I get out of trees I climb to retrieve Apple's?" She asked him. He smiled at the fair lady.

They fought for only moments before her sword fell out of her hand and her wrist was slashed. "Braigeth!" He said worriedly. He came towers her quickly, but her vines on her arms had already healed her. "My lady, I am so sorry!" He said to her. She shook her head.

"It is alright. The vines will have healed it by this point." She said. "Is there any more tricks you have?" He asked her. She smiled.

"Come, Haldir." She said in a faint voice. She took him over to her small garden and showed him her plants. "This one is almost grown in. I grow Lembas sometimes. If needed." She went over to her almost grown plants and cupped her hands around them. They began to sprout up from the top. "I assume there are other things Lady Braigeth can do?" She smiled.

"A few." She blushed.

"I can make dead trees grow leaves. I can turn a rainy day into sunny, clear one." Haldir smiled at Braigeth.

"Why would your father choose a name such as 'Braigeth' for you? Why not 'Adaron' for 'lord of the trees?'" She smiled at him.

"I chose the name myself. As he has had his time in Middle-earth, I spend my time here. I chose my name. That way no one knows who I am. Nobody will see it coming until I use my vines. They are most precious to me." She replied.

Haldir was falling in love with Braigeth. She was braver than most would have expected, but she was much fairer than other elves Haldir laid eyes on. Her smile was so faint and beautiful, and her laugh was dreamy. Her silver hair was more fine than imaginable. Her hazel eyes were gorgeous and her light skin was so amazing beyond thought. She was a lady of nature, caring for others, but she was also a warrior. An elegant one too. She could fight well. Orcs would not one to kill her, as they were stunned by her beauty. Different, she was. But she was a Lothlórien elf, a fair elf indeed.

Braigeth was in love with Haldir. They were young elves, and though many desired her beauty, she knew Haldir could see more to her than just a fair elf. She loved his long blonde hair and his elvish body shape. She didn't often times talk to elves, but she loved Haldir. He was kind and innocent. He was brave and wise. She could learn much from him, as he could learn more from her. He was blue-eyed and they were perfectly placed where they were. He voice was different than most elves, but she was in love with the sound it made.

Haldir began to leave as he went on the oath until she shouted his name. "Haldir!" She walked to him while shaking. "Yes, lady Braigeth?" She smiled. "The battle is tomorrow. If any elf must, please come and grab me. I would like you than any other elf in Lothlórien. Not even your two brothers." She spoke in front of him.

"How do you know my brothers?" He asked her. She smiled at the elf.

"I have encountered many elves in my life. Rumil and Orophin?" He nodded at the elf-maid.

"Yes." She smiled. "I hope I may see you around again." She said.

"You will." He replied. He began to walk away until she said his name again.

"Haldir?" She called again. He turned around. "Yes, lady Braigeth?" He replied. She walked up to him and suddenly kissed him on the lips for a long moment.
