I can't believe that I am writing in a DIARY! I mean who writes a DIARY when your eleven?
My name is Rose Helga Finch-Potter believe it or not I am a very distant cousin to the amazing Helga Hufflepuff, who was one of the four founders of Hogwarts.
Hogwarts is one of the best I mean BEST schools for magic there is. I haven't actually been yet but my brother Olly says it's awesome. I really want to be in Gryffindor but Olly is a Ravenclaw, for those muggle-borns out there, there are four houses called Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, Gryffindor and Slytherin. Slytherin is the worst house that there is I mean there is this guy Olly told me about called Lucius Malfoy and he moans all the time like..
Eg. Oh if my father heard about this.... He would get you expelled...etc...etc...etc...
And you get to play quidditch! The most amazing sport ever! Go chudley cannons!

I am mad about quidditch I want to be keeper of the Gryffindor team and own a shooting rocket. The shooting rocket is the newest most amazing broom in the whole wizarding world! I mean nought to fifty in ten seconds is awesome! AWESOME!
I really want to make a couple of friends like Olly and have adventures with them. I want to meet Slughorn and McGonagall and Hagrid the gamekeeper.
Oh and having a wand! Olly's is fourteen inches elm and unicorn horn, sturdy. I am nearly eleven so I expect the letter will come soon, because I can do everything like Olly. Because once at school we were doing a maths test then I feel asleep I was so bored, but when i woke up five minutes before the test finished all my questions that i had left blank before I had gone to sleep were filled in. A few weeks later we got the test results and guess what I had got the best score in the class! All the answers that I had left blank were filled in with the correct answers! When I told my mum and dad they were really proud of me for some weird reason, then I got it, I was probably magic enough to go Hogwarts!
