16: A day with him (part 2)

Time for a day with the little brother. Hopefully this won't be ten pages long.
I'll let you choose the outfit:

Just prey or hope Grell doesn't see you.

Previously:
fuck the part of the deal about not making a move, I kept my hand on her face, brought her closer, and kissed her. This kiss came out of nowhere and froze me, my mind was telling me to push him away, but my heart was telling me to relax and enjoy it . . . Because I love him. Then something felt weird, I felt a little cooler. When I opened my eyes . . . he was gone.

Undertakers POV:

I got out of there fast, any second longer and I would've asked for permission inside. Yes this was wrong and I broke the brotherly deal we made, but now she knows I love her, and hopefully she chooses me.

(Y/N)s POV:

What just happened could've been a dream, but I could still feel his warmth, his hand stroking my cheek, and his lips on mine. "It wasn't a dream," I said to myself. The older Adrian Crevan loves me.

💀🖤two days later🖤💀

I had to put the two dresses from Hopkins in storage, one look at them and I felt his kiss. I even had a hard time walking to work with his brother because I felt like his presence was nearby. "Hey (Y/N), how does another day off sound?" Adrian asked. "What is with these days off for me." I didn't realize I said that out loud till he started talking. "Well you're one of the most hard working woman in the association, and I'm at the top of my game, so I told the heads to give us the day off tomorrow." Telling the heads of the GRDA to give you a day off means double or triple or who knows how much more work the next day. "And we can go wherever you want." I thought about tomorrow . . . it is a Saturday tomorrow, and who wants to work on a Saturday. "It's a date," I said.

💀🖤the next day🖤💀

Alright, I'm dressed, my belly is full, I've got my purse and keys, just waiting for—
Knock knock.
There it is. He had on a black shirt and jacket, white ripped jeans, and a pare of converse. "You know if you'd wear a normal thin scrunchy you'd look more like a man," I said. "Good morning to you too." I locked the door and we were off into the Reaper Realm—the England part of it. "Remember (Y/N) this's your day off, so wherever you wanna go I'll accompany you." "Adrian this our day-off date, if you wanna go somewhere we'll go there." He put his index finger and thumb under his chin, ". . . How about we go wherever you wanna go, but I pick lunch," he said. "Deal."

Adrian's POV:

Sometimes I wonder why she can't be a normal woman, our first destination was the bookstore. "Might I ask why we're here?" Adrian told me one of the places they went was a bookstore. "Why to explore, maybe even buy a book." how many more books does she need?

9, she needed 9 books, the Bridgerton Collection. "Why these books?" I asked. "Because it makes meeting the rich people more easier than having to ride with your brother for two hours to go to one of their party's, or waiting for them to go to London."

(I still haven't read those books, maybe I'll finish reading the Sailor Moon manga then read those books.)

🖤💀lunch time💀🖤

"So we're having pizza for lunch," she said. "Yep, and your favorite, Margarita Pizza, the place that gives women free margaritas on Monday." One small round (___) pizza for each of us. "See you after lunch, if I survive after eating this pizza," she said.

🖤💀after lunch💀🖤

"Adrian would you let me open my eyes." "You could've done that a few seconds ago, go on open them." I was on a gondola ready to row us to our next destination. "Uh, what're you doing on that, let alone about to row it?" "I'm ready to take us to our next destination, except it can't be no farther than three blocks left and right." I stuck my hand out, "Come on, I already put the books onboard."

(Y/N)s POV:

I was facing a tough decision, get on the little boat—with a man I think I have feelings for—and sail three blocks, or walk three blocks on high heels . . . "Do not let me fall," I said. "I won't, now take my hand madam, and we will sail wherever you want to go, that's three blocks from here—and if it's not then we're walking the rest of the way." "Well good news the theater—and I don't mean movies—is three blocks behind me, so start rowing, and I'll start reading."

Adrian's POV:

She looked so beautiful sitting there—leaning back a bit—and reading a book. It looked like she didn't have a care in the world, but I know somewhere inside her, she's trying to choose between me or Adrian.

🎭after a phantom of the opera🎭

"Wow what a show," I said. "You yawned three times." "Well having to row you three blocks really tires a man out." She gave me a playful slap on the shoulder then whistled for a cab. "Now where we going?" "Downtown, maybe the noise will wake us up a bit," she said.

(Y/N)s POV:

Just a few steps after we got out of the cab, I realized we were still holding hands.
"Is this ok?" He asked, he looked nervous, but he's not the one who did this three days ago with his brother. "Yeah it's ok, besides who am I supposed to hold on to when I finally can't stand these shoes?" He looked left and right, "You can buy new ones at that shoe store over there." ". . . If I wasn't holding a bag of books I'd hit you right now."
We went off on our downtown journey, going into a couple of stores, in the end we bought something . . . Ice cream. His was chocolate and vanilla, mines was (___). "It's getting late we should probably head back," I said. "I'll whistle for a cab." "No, I've got a better idea." Adrian picked me up, and with his stealth and strength we were jumping from window to window till we got to the roof of a building. "Would it kill you to warn me next time." "I'll do that right now," he said. "Don't worry I won't drop you, or the books, hang on tight." I didn't really have a choice.

🖤💀after some running and jumping💀🖤

He stayed at my apartment for dinner, and by dinner I mean leftovers. We were out on the balcony, "Adrian I had a great day-off date today." "I'm glad you did, seeing you happy made me happy." That sounds like something someone would say in their head, but I didn't care, it made me blush. I couldn't look at him, when I looked at the balcony bars that kept us from falling, I saw both our hands almost intertwined.

Adrian's POV:

I didn't care that she wasn't looking at me, with her looking down at our hands, some light pink on her cheeks, and the moon shining above her. Now I have my favorite Shakespeare quote: Romeos line in act 1 scene 5 'For I ne'er saw true beauty till this night.' I didn't want to move my hand, at this point I didn't give a damn about the part of the deal that said don't make a move, I took two steps, cupped her face with my other hand, and kissed her. I gently brought her closer, if I can't tell her that I love her then I'll just have to show her.

(Y/N)s POV:

Our hands that were almost intertwined were now flat against each other, just like when his brother kissed me, my mind was telling me to push him away, but my heart was telling me to relax and enjoy it. The heart was winning. My leg was starting to go up . . . but then it stopped, my hand wasn't flat against his.

Adrian's POV:

I bit her lip asking for entrance, but she refused, she left me no other choice.
My hand went under her shirt . . . and almost touched her bra. I couldn't do it.
It was wrong, I was going too far even by my standards, I took my hand out and broke the kiss. We both needed to breathe, I didn't know if the look on her face was of fear or shock or she was still out of breath. What are you supposed to say after what just happened, I felt like I was sweating. "Adrian." I'm gonna have to think fast.

(Y/N)s POV:

"I'm sorry, (Y/N)." He climbed up some stairs then jumped to the roof, he looked down at me for like a second . . . Then disappeared into the night. When I went in my room I dropped on my bed, all I could look at was that black rose and green mask on my dresser. "They both love me, but who am I supposed to love."
