Figure It Out

(Daveed's POV)

I rolled onto my bed, I didn't even want to move.
I got a call from Oak.
I screamed into my pillow reaching for my phone that was on the bedside table.
"What do you want?!" I cried into the phone
"Damn, what happened?" Oak asked trying to be calm
"I saw Anthony and Y/N and the grocery store last night."
"Ouch- were they holding hands or anything?"
"I dunno I didn't seen them holding hands, but I bet they were when I wasn't looking. But they both did try to talk to me."
"Well what did you say?"
"I didn't say anything. I ignored them."
"ARE YOU AN IDIOT?! If you like Y/N, ignoring her isn't going to do anything." Oak said yelling at me.
I started to tear up.
"Y-You didn't have to yell. Besides I need to move on." I was such a cry baby when I didn't get my way.
"Whatever, go listen to Billie Eillish and call me back when your a man." Oak said before hanging up not even letting me say anything else.
I sighed as I went onto Spotify turning on Billie Eillish, it was sad boy hours and I wasn't letting anyone Interrupt my crying session. What? I can be emotional?
I hid myself under ten layers of blankets. After crying for an hour or so I got another call
"I swear to god if it's Oak." I said with a groan taking the blankets off of me.
I reached for my phone and the caller ID was 'Anthony.' There was a photo of us together as the background.
I sighed and clicked the hang up button. I didn't want to talk to him, not after everything with Y/N
I got comfortable again and went under my blankets.
As soon as I got comfortable I got another call.
It was Anthony again. I declined.
He called again. I declined.
He called again. I declined.
He called again. I declined.
He called again. I declined.
He called again. I declined.
He called again. I declined.
After 6 more times of calling and declining I finally answered
"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT?"
"Finally." Anthony said, it sounded like he was crying.
"What's do you want?" I asked slowly crawling out of bed and getting out of my Carebear onesie.
"Y/N hasn't picked up her phone. It's been a day. The last time we talked was when I left her place and now she won't answer my calls."
I rolled my eyes to the back of my head when I heard him say
'Left her place'
"I don't know. I haven't talked to her. Why would I need to talk to her?"
"I don't know, but I'm scared. You have her number right? Please call her.  Ask her if she's mad at me please?" Anthony sounded helpless I rolled my eyes again. And hung up to call Y/N
After waiting a few seconds someone finally picked up.
"Hello?" I could hear a woman's faint voice, it was really quiet
"Y/N? Are you okay?"
It was dead silence
"Y/N? Anthony's really worried. Should I be worried too?" I asked putting it on speaker as I set my phone on the counter top and looked for leftovers in the fridge.
It was still quiet
"Y/N?" I asked again.
"Hm? Yeah? What?" Y/N asked, it was still really quiet, it sounded like she just saw a ghost.
"Are you okay?" I asked confused.
"I don't know." She said quickly.
"Did anthony do something? BECAUSE I SWEAR!" I shouted opening a container it looked like leftovers.
I opened it and smelt it.
Nope definitely not leftover.
"What? No? This isn't about Anthony- I-I Daveed, I got into an accident."
My eyes widened as I rushed up to the phone
"WHAT?! Wait- what kind of accident?"
"Car."
"Shit! Where are you?!" I said rushing to grab my coat.
"Uh hospital, I think." She said
"Okay which one?"
It was silent again
"Y/N?"
"Hm? Oh I don't know, I think the one on 31st street."
"Okay! I'll be right there." I said hanging up. I ran out the door and ran into my car.
While I was driving I called Anthony.
"Get to the hospital on 31st street." I demanded.
"What why?" He asked in a worried tone.
"JUST GET THERE!" I shouted hanging up.
