I guess the expression on my face told Thomas what happened but he asked anyways.

"What did she say?"

A sigh escaped my lips as I ran a hand through my (long/short) hair. "The same thing. Everything is going to change, we did something, and she triggered the ending." I say disappointed from the response I got from Teresa.

"Damn," I heard Thomas mumble.

He ran a hand through his already messy brown locks. He looked fustrated. I stared at the teenage boy's figure worried about his well being. I was so caught up in my thoughts that I didn't expect Thomas to look at me with his confusion clouded eyes. It kinda startled me.

"I am getting some of what she's saying about the ending and how we took part in this but it's all really fuzzy. I don't understand it just yet." He sighed slumping forward. I put a gentle hand on his shoulder squeezing it a bit.

"Don't stress about it Tom. We will get answers from her." As I spoke about her I remembered that she was missing, that she wasn't even in her room. I jumped up and ran to her room Thomas calling my name.

I opened the door to an empty room the sheets were still on the floor. Thomas rushed in after me his eyes widening at the scene. "What the shuck? Where is she?!" Thomas said looking around. He turned to me his brows furrowed in confusion. I shrugged and stepped forward.

As we were looking around the room, a sudden accented voice boomed throughout the silent room. "What the bloody hell is going on here?!" Both Thomas and I whipped our heads in his direction only to be met face to face with Alby and Newt, Clint and Jeff in the back staring into the room in shock.

"We're looking for the shuck girl that's what. She's gone!" Thomas said gesturing around him. Alby stepped in and looked at the sheets, he whispered something to Newt then looked at Thomas telling him to stay put. He turned to me and jerked his head to the side, signaling for me to go with Newt. I huffed but followed his directons.

Newt, Clint and Jeff took me to my room and made me sit down. The two Med-jacks checked on me making sure I was okay. Newt stood at the door with his gaze down and arms crossed. I couldn't help but get butterflies at the sight of the blonde. I shook my head slightly breaking my gaze on the tall boy and focused on Clint as he was asking me questions.

The checkup was done and I was alone with Newt. I was sitting on my bed fiddling with my fingers when I felt a presence next to me. I looked up and saw Newt sitting there. He looked distraught.

I furrowed my brows and asked him, "Whats wrong?"

He looked at me with his dazzling brown eyes. "The Maze Doors are suppose to close in an hour  and the girls out there somewhere. We don't have time to see if shes out there. Oh and the shuck sky is gray and the box ain't going back down. The last of the supplies arrived and hour ago and the box hasn't gone down. Alby is stressing. I don't know what to do but I'm glad you're okay at least one thing in my lifes going right." I gave him a sad smile but pulled him into a hug.

He wrapped his arms around me nuzzling his face into my neck as he pulled me closer. My cheeks warmed at the touch, turning bright red. I hugged him tightly reassuring him that everything will be alright. We pulled apart, both of us staring into each others eyes.

"Thank you (Y/n)," Newt said pulling away even further. I grabbed his wrist making him stay in his place. He froze and looked at me with narrowed brows. "What is it?"

I looked down and bit my lip. I let go of his wrist then shook my head. "Its nothing."

"You sure?"

I nodded smiling at him and getting up to go talk to Thomas and Alby. I reached the door and was about to pull it open but a pale hand stopped me. I was shocked and I took a step back. I turned to Newt only to see him really close to me, his arms on either side, trapping me like how the Doors trap us here at night. His hot breathes were fanning my face making me feel even more hot.

"(Y/n).."He said his breath fanning my lips. I licked my lips and I replied, "Yes?" He closed his eyes then opened them backing up a bit his arms falling to his side. Mumbling a sorry. My heart was racing and my cheeks were bright red.

'Damnit Newt why do you do this to me?' I released a breath of air as he pulled back enough for me to see him shaking. My eyes widen and I immediately take his hand in mine, calming him.

"Its okay Newt we will get out remember that promise?" Newt nodded a faint smile spreading on his pale face. "Yeah I do. I will get to kiss the closest shucking Glader to me. So stay by my side at all times alright?"

Newt whispered the end but I caught what he said, slowly nodding taking in what he just said. The blush on my cheeks grew brighter at his comment. He looked up at me his ears turning red as well as his cheeks. He bit his lip as his eyes flickered to my lips then my eyes as if he was asking permission. I gave him a small smile and got on my tippy toes getting closer. He leaned in as well his arms snaking around my waist. Our lips were so close to each other that we could feel our breaths on our faces. Just as they were gonna connect someone banged on the door and opened it.

Both Newt and I separated, faces red as Thomas ran in breathless. He looked between us a slight smirk playing on his lips. He opened his mouth to say something but he was cut of by someones groans. I looked behind Thomas to see Jeff crossing his legs in pain as Clint helped him. Alby was nowhere to be seen.

I stepped up to Thomas the redness in my cheeks has now faded. "What happened to him?" Thomas looked over his shoulder and chuckled shaking his head.

"He had a run in with Teresa says she's in the Deadheads waiting for us. She seems serious. I suggest we go now before anyone else gets hurt."

I bit my lip to hold in a laugh but I nodded anyways. "Yeah lets go we don't want anymore Jeffs today." I turned to Newt and gave him a soft smile. "Talk to you later. Bye Newt." I ran up to him and pecked his cheek running out the door into the Deadheads. Thomas's laugh faded in the distance.
