"It's a virus?" Sally asked the following morning. Sonic peered over her shoulder. Nicole and Sonic.exe were on the screen.

Sonic.exe began, "I am Sonic_virus_tes-"

"He's Sonic.exe," Nicole interrupted.

"That's not my-"

"Tell them what you want."

Sonic.exe shot her an annoyed look, "I am looking for this part." The images appeared.

"Metal's gem?" Sonic asked.

"That is correct."

"And you haven't torn the internet apart yet?"

"I was instructed to do as minimal damage as possible."

Sonic and Sally exchanged suspicious glances.

"King, queen," Zero, a jackal, said from the doorway. After the general, Knuckles, tuned into Enerjack, the Acorn Kingdom was without a general. Zero came a few days after the battle wishing to fill in for Knuckles until he recovered.

"Come in Zero," Sonic responded. The new general paced into the room. His main weapon,  a ed sword with a large blade, hung in its sheath. 

"Eggman was arrived."

"Right!" Sonic cried. "I almost forgot about Eggman."

"Should I tell him you'll be down shortly?"

"Yes." Sally responded. Zero bowed and left the room."Nicole, keep an eye on Sonic.exe."

Sonic.exe began, "But my-"

"Alright," Nicole interrupted. The tablet screen went black.

"Sonic?" Sally asked. "Could you go to the Kingdom of the Black Arms to check on their progress." 

"And see Shadow again?" Sonic asked. "I wouldn't miss it!" He sped off.

"Sonic!" Sally shouted. She sighed and headed downstairs. Eggman was there straitening his clothes. 

"Sonic was sure in a hurry," Eggman remarked. "Was he not inclined to see me?"

"I don't believe you are very inclined to see us either."

"Very true. We still have found no trace of the villains. You?"

"Nothing."

"What about project Enerjack Reform?"

"Last check from Nicole said no progress."

"I would like to see this project myself."
