Its a new night and I couldnt stop thinking all day. Having Derek drive me to that party. I think of how many girls would do anything for him to just do that to him.

"Come on" Carly yells out of my window

Of course another race. And I go hoping to see the gorgeous Derek again

"So is that Derek going to be there?" I ask as I get in the car

"Nope" Chad says

Damn it

"Why not" I ask

"Its an ameture race tonight, first time racers" He says as he drives

"Oh I see" I say leaning against the backseat window in shame

"We are going to get food" Carly says as her and Chad walk away from

"Dont leave me.." I try to say but giving up

I look around and see no one that I know. I keep looking and see a car parked far far away.

Dont go. Dont go Carter. Damn it

Me being me im curious. So I go and find out what the car looks like.

"By far the best car I have seen" I say to myself looking around the car

Its a beautiful blue with Purple lights and wheels. Like a night car

"Reminds me of the night" A man says from behind me laughing

"Um yeah" I say shocked he read my mind

Little did I know this man was Derek.

Oh my god.

"You are the girl I helped yesterday arent you?" He says walking over by me and the car

"Um yeah" I say starting to blush

Thank god its dark so he cant see my blush very well

"What is your name?" He says actually looking at me

"Uh its Cart..Carter" I struggle to say because he is so beautiful

"Nice to meet you Carter" He says "Derek"

"I know" I say realizing what I just said and blushing more

"Haha" He laughs out 

"Let me show you something" He says walking me to the passenger side as I hesitate "Cmon you know my name. So its not like im a stranger" He says laughing

I guess not

"Haha ok" I say getting in with him

We stop on a hill as he puts the car in park. From this spot you can see the beautiful night sky and how the moon just shines down on us

"This is where I got my idea of this car from" He says waving his hands over the sky

"Its perfect" I say amazed at the view

"It is" 

With those words of his It reminds me of my parents. They used to take Parker and I to a spot like this as we had fries and milkshakes. 

They passed away 3 years ago due to being killed. No one ever found out who it was. I was just to scared and numb from the pain of them being gone to want to look for who it was. Witnesses say it was a car following them to our special spot.

"Yeah" I say whipping a tear thinking about my parents

"Let me guess" He says "Parents"

"Yeah, how did you know" I ask but comfortable with his statement

"I know parent tears. Mine are gone too" He says 

I feel so close to him from the words he is saying. Honestly I havent felt this comfortable around someone in a long time.

"So Carter. We should probably head back huh?" He says with a smile backing up and leaving as I giggle a little with him

"Where were you?" Carly yells at me as I walk up to her and Chad

"No way" Chad says pointing at Derek

"Oh" Carly says in shock

"Hey" Derek says shaking hands with Chad

"Guys meet Derek" I say flaunting the fact he just took me somewhere

"Its an honor dude" Chad says

"Hey no problem" Derek says to Chad "You guys race?" 

"I do, and I am teaching my girlfriend Carly here" Chad says to Derek

"Exuse me? No. Carly it is way to dangerous" I say to Carly

"Carter shush" She whispers

"Maybe I can teach you" Derek says looking at me

Me being kind of a flirt I go along with it

"Haha maybe" I say blushing

"We'll start tommorrow, you guys come to" He says then pointing at Chad and Carly "Ill text you the details" 

"But I dont have your number" I say to Derek

"I snuck it in your phone when you werent looking" He says as he drives off

He is so cute.

Then I realize I just agreed to drag race.

Oh no.
