Thyself art like the sweetest black
That gives me concord and resolve
Thy beauty glossed in shades of black
Shall never fade and shan't recede
The kindness from thy tongue is black
Only your love I do require
My life art like the deepest black
Days painted in haste with regret
My comfort comes from shades of black
And so my heart doth not repine
The joy that you bring me is black
The loyal shade of my relief
We art like the most pleasing black
Together bound in our repose
Thyself art like the sweetest black
That brings me solace and repair
Heal me like the sweetest black
So I may no longer despair
