We drive up to the biggest mall in town and i internally squeal. I absolutely love shopping. Probably a perk with getting marries to a multi millionaire.

"How rich are you exactly? We talking multi millionaire?" I ask when the car finally stops in a parking space.

"Very rich my love. Elon Musk and i are probably on the same level or I'm richer. I don't really know." He says and gets out. He runs around the car and helps me out on my side, intertwining our fingers.

People flood in and out of the mall as usual but it's a lot more full today.

"Stay close to me okay." Ares whispers into my ear and i nod.

"We are going to shop Right?" I ask making sure and he replies with a nod and a small smirk.

We walk into the mall and people stop and stare just like they did the first time Ares bought me groceries. It brings back memories of how far we've come in this short period of time. That day he was just some hot older man helping me out and today he's my fiancee and the love of my life.

"What are we buying?" I ask swinging our intertwined hands back and forth as we walk.

"Whatever you want, we have three hours here." He mumbles.

"Ok first... losen up old man." I chuckle and he playfully glares at me.
"Secondly we're here to do shopping so no complaining about the stuff I want to buy okay." I say

"As long as you buy some lingerie too." He says with a smirk and I blush.

"Oh i will." I tell him.
"Help me take off my shoes." I say and he gives me a weird look.
"Fine I'll help myself." I mumble
"But if guys stop and stare to look at my perfect ass don't kill them." I say with a smirk and he goes down on one knee.

He lifts my foot and i hold onto his shoulder for support. He takes the strappy stilletos off with ease and holds them on his fingers.

"Ditey!" A voice shouts and i look around to see a bunch of girls from my class walking my way.

We aren't really friends but we're nice to each other and we hang out at lunch break if I'm not in the library.

"Hey girls." I say as they reach us and Ares stands to his full height. I watch their shocked faces turn into pure fear as they all recognise him.
"What are y'all doing here?" I ask trying to take their attention away from Ares who grabs my hand and starts typing away on his phone.

"Umm... we'll just go." Cindy the most talkative says but i grab her wrist lightly.

"Girls this is my boyfriend Ares, baby these are my friends. Cindy, Quinn, Minnie and Jamie." I introduce pointing to each of them and their jaws drop to the floor.

"Good afternoon, do you want me to go buy you anything while y'all chat?" He asks without even gazing at them.

"Yes, ice cream please." I say.
"Y'all want ice cream too?" I ask but before they can answer I look back at him.
"Five rocky road ice creams dipped in chocolate please my love. And a plain caramel for you." I say and he nods giving me a kiss on the cheek before walking away.

"Oh my goodness..... I'm gonna fucking flip." Minnie says fanning herself.

"Let's sit down." I say and they follow me to a sitting area in the middle of the floor. I tell them about how we met leaving out a lot of info and giving short answers to their questions and soon enough Ares comes back making them all drop silent.

I hand each of them their ice creams and get up. Ares grabs my hand as he licks his caramel ice cream with his long tongue and i can't wait for tonight.

"We have a few things we need to buy so I'll see you guys around." I say and they nod.

"Where should I put your shoes?" He asks holding them up.

"You left with them?" I ask and he shrugs.
"Give them to me." I say and hold out my hand.

"You're gonna walk bare feet?" He asks and i nod.

"Best way to shop is to do it bare feet." I tell him and he nods.

"Then I'll hold them." He says before turning back to my 'kinda friends'.
"Good bye girls. Y'all are welcome over anytime, don't worry I won't kill you guys. You're my future wife's friends, and i don't bite, unless..." He says with a smirk and I hit his chest.

"Shut up Ares!" I whisper shout.
"Anyway bye guys." I say and they simply say goodbye back.

"Why haven't I heard about them?" He asks as we walk away and i shrug.

"They aren't really relevant and besides I'm probably not even going to see them again." I say truthfully. I'm done with high school and we never realy hung out.
"People are so scared of You, they wouldn't even look at you Ares!" I say a bit louder than needed.

"People are scared of me, as they should be. I'm a very evil man Aphrodite." He says with a far away look in his eyes. I caress his cheek with my hand to make him look at me.

"Do you kill each and every one that makes you angry?" I ask

"No, that would literally be impossible, if I did there probably wouldn't be anyone left to kill." He says and i chuckle.

"You're not that bad." I say punching his chest.
"Now let's go shopping." I say and fist pump the air.

My feet pitter patter as we walk into forever 21 and it looks like the entire shop stood still to stare at us before scurrying away quickly. We walk around a bit as I look through the jeans hanging on the rack when a man in his late thirties or early forties walks up to Ares and i; he has a big belly, is a bit taller than me and has a big smile on his face but i can see how scared he is.

"Mr King, goodafternoon sir... is there anything I can get for You? Anything at all?" The Man asks while stumbling over his words from time to time.

"Princess do you want something?" Ares asks and i shake my head.

"I didn't realise you two were together I apologize, does your daughter need someone to carry her clothes for her?" The Man asks and i turn to see Ares looking livid.

Shit.

"Sir, you seem to be mistaken; wife not daughter." I say holding up my ring finger with the huge ruby and he gasps.

"Oh I'm so sorry Mrs King." He says and i nod.
"Baby why don't you pick something you want me to wear?" I ask looking at Ares. He nods and walks to the other end of the store.
"I would love having someone to carry my clothes for me sir." I say with a smile and the man scurries away.

A beautiful woman with long strawberry blonde hair and green eyes shows up a few seconds later.

"Hi I'm Maya, you need me to carry something?" She asks while blowing a bubble with her gum.

"Yeah, here." I say placing a bunch of clothes on her arms and bed eyes go wide when she sees how many clothes there is.

She follows after me and we bump into Ares who also has a selection of clothes hung around his arm. He throws it onto her arms and she blushes after seeing his face. She rushes away and comes back without the clothes we gave her. We look around and pick a few more th ings before going to pay. Ares just walks past the long line and stands right at the front.

"Excuse me... I was..." the guy behind us starts and taps Ares on his shoulder.

"You were What?" Ares asks as he turns around and i see the guy gulp.

"Nothing Mr King." He mumbles and i chuckle.

We go to a few more stores with Maya the girl carrying our clothes and now pushing our trolley full of clothing bags. She has been subtly flirting with Ares but I don't care.

"That's all." I say looking at the packed trolley with clothes for each of us back home.

"Victoria's Secret first... then we can go." He says and this time I blush.
