Chapter 42: Prologe

Two years later....

Two years have passed since Barry and Caitlin moved into the new house and things couldn't be going better. The target crime rate has been decreasing, meaning there are fewer and fewer targets causing terror in Central City which gives superheroes more rest. A year and a half ago the Allen family received a new member, no more and no less than the couple's first child, Henry Snow-Allen.

Both Barry and Caitlin admit it was the happiest day of their lives when their first child was born and the boy's life has been smooth, with goals constantly threatening their parents' lives. But things don't stay that way much longer because today Caitlin was feeling very sick and decided that it was time to go to the pharmacy again because the symptoms were the same as when she found out she was pregnant with Henry.

"Good afternoon, may I help you?" The lady at the pharmacy counter asked.

"Good afternoon, I would like a pregnancy test," she said, and I went to pick it up, checked it in, and paid to leave.

Caitlin took advantage of the fact that Barry had gone out with Henry and shut himself in the bathroom for the test. After following the instructions on the box, I had to wait 6 minutes to receive the results so I went to do some things in the room and watch some television.

Six minutes later the alarm she'd set sounded so she headed to the bathroom to see the test and didn't want to believe it.

"Cait we got home," Barry said as he entered with Henry. "Where are you?" I see you nowhere!

- In the bathroom. Barry, we really need to talk both of them.

When Barry heard his wife's tone of voice, he dropped Henry into the living room to watch some television and went to the bathroom in their bedroom and found Caitlin sitting on the floor.

- Honey, what's up? You're making me worried, "said Barry, kneeling beside her.

"Barry, I'm pregnant," Caitlin replied, smiling and Barry didn't want to believe what he had heard.

- You are sure?

- Yes! Are you disappointed?

- Disappointed? I? Of course not.... You couldn't have given me better news, 'Barry said, hugging his wife and new child.

It had all finally fit into Barry and Caitlin's life and thinking that it all started with a goal that gave Barry the task of making a choice... ..
