I dropped off the box and ran as fast as I could. Jeongin seemed to be on his way to (Y/N)'s because I bumped into him.
Jeongin: Did you go see (Y/n) finally?
Me: Not exactly. Are you going to see her?
Jeongin: Yeah. Why?
Me: She might be crying right now.
Jeongin: Chris, what did you do?
Me: I gave her heart back.
He just looked at me blankly. He didn't have any expression on his face. All of a sudden he put his hand on my shoulder.
Jeongin: You did the right thing this time. She may be hurt, but she would have been even more hurt if you guys continued on like this. But I hope you know that you two will never be the same again. (Y/n) will come back to us, but your guys' relationship will never be the same from this point on.
A tear slipped down my cheek as he spoke to me softly. He was right.
Me: I know. God knows I know.
Jeongin: Let's go home. I think you need me more than (Y/n) does. Besides, I know someone is there to comfort her.
I nodded, even though I don't quite understand what he means. Did one of our other friends spend the night there? Jeongin lead me home and we just stayed in all day. Jeongin helped me feel better by telling me that I did the right thing. I just hope he's right about her coming back to us. And I sincerely hope that (Y/n) finds someone who will return her feelings.
Jeongin: Chan? Are you okay?
Me: I'll be okay. I'm fine. I just feel bad because I know I hurt her.
Jeongin: (Y/n) is a strong girl. She'll get through this. I know she will. Because there's someone who is guaranteed to love her.
Me: Is it you?
Jeongin: You know about that? Either way, it's not me. It's someone else who has always been around but has never been noticed before.
Me: Who?
Jeongin: Just someone. You don't know him. The person who is meant for her in this life.
Knowing that there really is someone for her out there comforts me. Because for some odd reason, even though I don't know this person, I'm confident he will make her happy. Is it because I trust everything Jeongin says? Maybe. Is it because I solely wish for her to find someone else, someone who won't hurt her like I did? Maybe. I do have one question though. Who is Jeongin talking about and how does he know him?
