Ch. 21 Explaining my Infinite Predicament

We climb out of the well, and we discover something different with our surroundings. "Hey, where did this hut come from?" Chara wonders. So, I explain, "I think we traveled to a different time period." "Huh. Now that you mention it, the time period we were in looked like it was the feudal Japan era." "Yeah, and we must be in a modern-day Japan, since I can hear distant cars and cellphones."

Then, we both hear a guy nearby holler, "Come on, Kagome, hurry up. The others are waiting for us back at the village." That was followed by a girl replying, "Alright, I'm coming. Jeez. You're always so impatient, Inuyasha." We perk up and both have the same thought: 'Wait. Did I hear that name correctly?' And soon enough, the hut's door opens up and shows us the two main characters of their anime.

The half-demon asks us, "Who the heck are you two?" as Kagome then adds, "And why are you inside my family's shrine of the dried-up well?" I scratch the back of my head and answer awkwardly, "Uh, would you believe that we're from different universes?"

Later, at the village, Chara fires a signal to bring our friends to us. Although, we get surprised to see that a bunch of our pals have transformed into half-human and half-animal beings -even Scoob and Shag have human bodies with cat/dog features. Natsu is now even more of a dragon. Hankiel's still in his lion form. Jules has the eyes, teeth, claws, and other feats of her favorite dinosaur: the Utah Raptor. Also, Leafa is part bird now -my guess is maybe... falcon...?

Jules explains that a piece of the Sacred Jewel of Four Souls hit each of them in their foreheads and it must've changed them into their favorite animal they subconsciously thought of. I guess Scooby and Shaggy thought of being human when the jewel shards hit them, and Scoob has a much more understandable voice.

My big sis also tells Chara and me in a whisper, "Oh, and Scooby, Shaggy, and Mina told all of us about the 'universes' we're from and apparently things called 'ships'." "Ah. Gotcha." I reply, but I then realize something and ask, "Hey, where is Mina?" Jules sighs and answers, "She's worried about letting you see her changed form, even though we all think she looks cool." 'Hmm...' I say to myself as I pull the small teleportation device Deadpool unwillingly gave me and think of Mina.

Then, I instantly get teleported to the back of the group and tap my girlfriend's shoulder, which startled her a bunch. She turns around, and I see that Mina has a lizard head, her hands have claws, and she has pink scales instead of skin, but she still has her pink hair and pale yellow horns. My jaw drops and my eyes bulge outward. Mina looks and moves away, and tells me, "Don't look at me, Blueberry!" Just then, my newly extendible tongue shoots out of my mouth, wraps around Mina, and pulls her towards me.

I unwrap my tongue and hug her, and say sincerely, "It doesn't matter what you look like because you're still the Mina 'Pinky' Ashido I know and love. And to be honest, you do look cool as a pink half-human, half-lizard." Strawberry hugs back and thanks me for telling her that.

After a little bit, Jules walks up and asks, "Sorry to interrupt you guys' ship, but care to explain why you somehow have Tsuyu's frog abilities, Anything? Especially since you gave Kagome the jewel shard in your pocket." "And how you transformed us into paper, and then back to normal." Al adds. I sigh as we all sit cross-legged and Chara, Scooby, Shaggy, and I explain the truth about my heart's "condition."

"First off, I should tell you all that I have something called an Infinity Stone in my heart and practically flowing in my blood." "An Infini- what now?" most of them ask. "Infinity Stones," Chara continues, "They're from our universe and there are six in total." Shag: "When, at least, our universe was created from the Big Bang, all of that leftover raw energy was basically condensed into six stones and each one contains a single aspect of the universe." "Power, Space, Time, Soul, Mind, and Reality." I list and tap my heart when mentioning the last one.

"What do each of these stones do?" Miroku, the pervy monk, asks. The four of us thought hard for the best explanations (and I've actually done research on these).

Shag: "Uh, the purple Power Stone holds all of the energy that was, or ever will, exist."

Jules: "Ooh. That could maybe help Deku out with his quirk."

Scoob: "The green Time Stone gives the bearer control over all of time. You can know everything that ever was or will be. You can even fast forward, pause, slow, or rewind time on a person, object, event, or even the entire world."

Natsu: "Sounds like that weird guy that tried to help Lione resurrect that giant demon."

Chara: "The blue Space Stone lets you access everywhere and anywhere in the universe at the same time."

Mina: "Woah! Let's keep that one away from the League's teleporter."

Me: "Heh, yeah." Shag: "The yellow Mind Stone lets the bearer control all of the thoughts, minds, and dreams of all life -simultaneously!"

Jules: "Huh. That would extremely powerful if Shinso had it."

Me: "Mm... yeah, it would. Uh, my red Reality Stone can construct new alternate universes -or AU's for short- and warp realities. I can now create, destroy, and/or change reality."

Mina: "Wait,... are you saying that you might have created that universe of the evil versions of us?"

I shrug as Chara surprises us with, "And finally, my orange Soul Stone lets me have control over life and death, and I can even steal souls now." and shows us that she does, in fact, have the orange Infinity Stone hidden inside her left robot arm.

"I honestly didn't know about her having one as well, I swear," I quickly tell everyone. "I would only secretly use it on you, Anything," Chara explains, "to help/save you whenever you go overboard with a Reality Shift."

Shippo: "Why? What happens?"

Me: "Well,...when I use the Reality Stone to change something, my heart starts to ache, but I have no idea what else happens."

"But we do." Shag perks up as Chara shows some holographic imagery with her right eye, "Scans -both technological and Doctor Strange's magical ones- have shown that when you use the Infinity Stone in your heart, for some reason, it somehow takes your life force. So, the bigger the change you make, the more life force the stone takes." Then, Chara pipes in, "And because it was doing that, I use the Soul Stone to give you the stolen life force back."

"Okay. But, where did you even get the stone, though?" I ask. "From Sans, in Newer Home." Shaggy answers as Chara adds, "The only thing that convinced him to hand it over was that you were in danger when you did the first real huge Reality Shift." Just then, we all hear a fallen tree branch snap nearby, and to some of us, a familiar voice say, "Yeah. I was, and still am, skeptical about if giving her the stone was a good idea or not, but it was a life-or-death situation for you, and you know what they say, 'Desperate times call for INFINITE measures'!" And that's when I facepalmed at the pun.

"Anyway, the Reality Stone must've interpreted me wanting to use someone else's quirk -in this case, Tsuyu's- when I was thinking about everyone from 1-A that joined us and exiting the rift tunnel." I finally answer Jules's question. "Huh, okay." Mina says and gestures to Sans, "And who's the bag of bones?"
