"We have to set up time to make a call everyday."

"That would be impossible! You're too possesive, Toshi! If we love each other then we have to trust each other, isn't that how relationship works?" Hinata whines.

Ushijima pulls Hinata closer and cup his chin. "I trust you, Shoyo. But I don't think I can trust other people. Not after that Shogo incident. So I will not tolerate if someone other than me touching you casually, surely you never know their true intentions to you, hm?"

"Okay okay.." The younger male rolls his eyes. "Don't be exaggerating, I can take care of myself." Hinata pouts, which Ushijima finds it cute.

Ushijima wraps his arm around Hinata, while Hinata rests his hands on Ushijima's chest.
"I'm just concerned and worried since i'm moving to Tokyo, far away from you. So you better listen to me and be a good boy, Shou." His deep baritone voice sounds intimidating as usual.

"Alriightt..."

"And since i gave you my key, you can come to my place anytime. I'd be really glad if you do." Wakatoshi kisses the top of the ruffly orange hairs. Hinata smiles, nodding.

The train will depart in any minutes soon, yet Hinata buries himself into his boyfriend's tight embrace. Feeling sad and overwhelmed, he's trying hard not to get too emotional even though he's holding back tears.

"Toshi... Make sure to eat properly, okay..." The orange haired looks up and pulling away from the embrace. If he keeps clutching to Ushijima for much longer, Hinata feels that he might not be able to let him go.

Ushijima nods and kiss his tiny lover's forehead, moving to the corner of his teary eyes, then give tender kiss on his lips.

As the passangers to board announcement heard, the couple share another kiss, more intense than before. Not caring of how some people around staring at them. They feel content in their own little world, until it's time for the older male to finally get inside the train.

Ushijima Wakatoshi suddenly shows up in Miyagi only a week after their first separation in the train station. The first whole week he's been restless, not being able to sleep peacefully without knowing what his tiny lover was doing, moreover who he hangs out with.

Ushijima knows that his boy have so many friends because of his bright personality. Hinata always hang out with Karasuno volleyball team members, but he's closer with Kageyama Tobio most of the times. In the beginning, Wakatoshi was concerned if Kageyama ever harbor any special interest with his boyfriend, but as he met Kageyama often he's pretty sure that their relationship is merely bestfriend, not more than that. Hinata ever mentioned that he also close with Nekoma school member name Kozume Kenma which Ushijima never met before. After that bastard Shogo Kousuke incident, Wakatoshi decided that other than Karasuno volleyball teammates, anybody else could be considered as potential threat whom he cannot trust to be near his tiny lover.

Noticing Ushijima sudden presence seen at Karasuno high school gym, Hinata can't help but scolding his boyfriend. He remembers that he told his boyfriend to prioritize school and practice, why is he here?

"How about your school?! Your practice?!" Hinata exclaims in disbelief.

"Today is free weekend and practice will be held on Monday, so i thought might as well come here to check on you. I miss you so much, Shou." Ushijima reasons.

"Toshii... Are you serious??"

"Yes. So now your practice is over, shall we go?"

"You're not listening to me, Toshi..!" Hinata crossing his arms and pouts.

Ushijima merely smiles and pull the boy, linking their fingers as they walk to stroll around. "You're really cute when you pout."

"I-I'm not cute—" Hinata wants to protest when Ushijima locks their lips together.

How Wakatoshi misses this sweet little mouth. This little mouth that can do wonderful things to him..

"We're going to my house. Tell your mother that you're staying over."

Hinata's eyes slightly widen yet full anticipation. Hinata too, longs for Wakatoshi. It's been a week only but he misses his lover so bad it hurts.

With Ushijima Wakatoshi staying in Tokyo, he's been busier with classes and practices which way different from high school life. Meanwhile Hinata Shoyo who's now a third year also working hard with his both volleyball activities and studying, as he should prepare for final exams as well university examination.

The couple always set up time to voice call or video call to talk about their daily life. As he said before, Ushijima demands that they have to at least make a voice call everyday. Hinata is used to his boyfriend sulking or nagging through the phone if he missed his calls. He knows very well that the older male is worried, as well possesive. While Ushijima is scowling, Hinata just laughed and told him to stop being too much of a worrywart. They also visit each other every summer, winter, and spring breaks.

With patience and determination, both males believe they will keep their relationship going strong.

"Tadaima!" Hinata greets while he's closing the front door, taking his shoes off and place them neatly on the rack.

"Okaeri." The familiar voice take Hinata by surprise as he's stepping inside to their living room.

"Tou-san! Welcome back.."

"Yeah.." His dad answers cooly, placing some documents he just read on the table.

Hinata Kyousuke, a man in his late forties dress in formal business attire. As a top managerial level handling all branches around Japan, his job requires him to always go on trip managing some stores and factories across the country.

"How's school Shoyo?"

"School is going well, also my club activities." Shoyo anwers cooly, taking off his sling bag then sitting on a single sofa.

His father nods. "Shoyo, there are few things i'd like to talk with you." His father says in a serious tone as he put his spectacles up.

"Oh. Okay." Suddenly the atmosphere is rather awkward as they rarely meet, let alone talking.

"I just heard from your mother..." His father starts the conversation. "...it's about your personal life."

Hinata is listening, while his father continue with slight troubled face.

"So i heard you're having a love relationship with.. a boy?"

Hinata raises his eyebrows, confused why his father suddenly want to know about him and Toshi.

"Yes, tou-san. We are in a relationship for almost 3 years. Toshi is a great guy."

Hinata Kyousuke is silent for a moment before letting out a heavy sigh. Shoyo clearly can see displeasure on his father's face.

"I believe this is just your teenage phase of curiousity and it's not even serious-"

Can't believe what he just heard, Hinata objects. "What do you mean, tou-san? We love each other and we take our relationship seriously."

This time, his father narrowing his eyes toward his son. "I fail to see bright future in this kind of relationship. You and him will eventually go separate ways and get married with a woman and have kids. How can you be sure your love life with him will lasts? What will people say about you, Shoyo?"

Hinata can't help but to feel angry. His father rarely home, how come now his father nagging him, talk like he knows everything about him?

"I don't care what people talk about us, tou-san!" Can't help himself, Hinata standing up from his seat and raise his voice. "I love him! He loves me! As long we're together then that's all that matters!"

His father confronts his son, his face is rigid from holding back his disappointment. "You're still young, which explains why you're being naive. I'm telling this for your own good. And his as well. In the end, you both will have a normal relationship like everyone else. Just how it should be."

When Shoyo is about to protest, his father continues. "You're a third year now. Focus on what you gonna do after you graduate. So you better quit this kind of romance that will lead you nowhere and unclear future."

By the moment, frustration overwhelmingly fills Shoyo as he talks louder. "I don't want to quit! I hate you, tou-san!"

"Shoyo!"

Turning his back, Shoyo marches to his bedroom, not wanting to hear from his father anymore. Crying out loud on his bed, he lets out all his anger and frustration. However the confrontation he just had with his father create uncertain outcome on his feelings, unease.
And that's when his anxiety creeps in.
