Jungkook POV

I was cold, I was in pain, but most importantly I was hungry ☹
They threw me in this cell and chained my hands to the wall. They said they would be back in a bit. WHY.
I was thrown out of thought when the door opened. The alphas son came in with an evil smirk across his face. "P-please" I begged "let me out of here" he quickly went up to me and squished my cheeks together with one of his hands, slowly adding pressure. "What are you here for?!" He growled. "I was just hunting, I swear" his grip really started to hurt. When he noticed I was in pain he dropped his hand and started walkin g around in circles. "So, rogue, what were your plans? To spy on us possibly? " "N-no! Not at all!" I shrieked. "What pack are you from?" I got silent. I didn't want to answer nor think about my dead pack anymore. "I'm not telling you" I couldn't hold back my tears, they just kept flowing. "Fine" Taehyung sighed and left the room.
Tommorow is my birthday... what a birthday, huh?
The next morning came and I began panicking. I completely forgot I was in this prison. My first birthday without my family and I'm spending it in a place like this, great. The door opened and a tall man with brown hair and dark brown eyes entered. I think his name was Minho? He smirked evily and that's when I knew he wasn't here to give me cake...

About an hour passed and I was beaten to a pulp. He kept asking me what my pack name was and why I was here. He didn't believe me when I said I was hunting. It's almost 6:30 which means i'll be 18. I can finally find my mate. Well, after I escape.

"Happy birthday to me..." I tried holding in my cries but that was too hard to do. All I can do is cry and sing myself happy birthday.
My tears went to a halt when I took a whiff of the most beautiful scent. It was a beautiful vanilla bean scent.

"Mate!" My wolf Mina cried in happiness.

"MINA! Where, where is my Mate? Where is he?" I'm so happy! I finally found my mate. He's here? In this pack?

"I don't know, you have to break free to get to him." She whined

"I can't, maybe he can sniff me out?" I whined

"Jungkook" she whined "you have your ring on"

Shit

I pulled my head back and let out a howl. The alpha and his son quickly ran down the stairs and entered the cell to the sound of my howl. "What are you doing? Why are you howling?" Right when I was gonna answer, I saw him. I saw my mate.

No... why is it him?

I mean, I'm not mad. He's fine af
However, I can't show myself to him... Not yet. "I promise I won't hurt anybody. Just let me leave" I looked the alpha straight in the eyes hoping he will let me go. The alpha let out a big sigh "Fine, but you have to stay here with is until we are positive we can let you go. Taehyung, take this key and set him free. Keep an eye on him" he gave his son the key and like that  he left the room.
An awkward silence spread throughout the room. I couldn't handle the silence anymore so I decided to break it "soo, how old are you?" I wanted to know if he was able to seek out his mate, if he was 18. "I turned 18 recently, why are you asking?" Wow, cold. "Have you in, found your mate yet?" Why would I ask such a stupid question. "Yes actually" he said while unlocking the hand chains using the key his father gave him.

"What?!" I shouted in confusion. He jumped a little from my sudden outburst but continued to talk like nothing happened "Well, she's not my real mate but I won't accept anybody other than her." His once cold eyes were now shining with love just by the thought of her. I felt my heart break into a million pieces. So... he'll reject me? He turned around and walked up the stairs, me trailing behind him. He brought me into a room filled with medicine and beds and told me to lay down until someone comes in to treat me.
