Layla POV

I wake up early, Henry wrapped around me, I can't help but smile. Last night was the most incredible night of my life. Henry was amazing, he was so in-tuned with my body and he made me feel things I've never felt. I slowly get front under his arm and grab my robe. I walk towards the kitchen but before I get there I stop at Gracie's bedroom door and place my hand on the door knob. Taking a deep breath, I slowly turned and opened the door. As I walk inside, I notice everything is exactly how she left it.

Her bed unmade as always, I was always telling her but she never listened. I smile, thinking of the memories of us, arguing over the stupidest things like making her bed. I would give anything to be able to do that again. As I move around her room, I pick up her teddy. One she had since she was born, i hug it close and sit down on the bed. I look around and remember the times she would
Dance around here, singing at the top of her lungs and just giggling.

I hear someone clear there voice and I look towards the door and I see Henry standing there.
"You came in?"
I nod "yeah. Don't really know why. Just did"
"Can I?" He asks and I nod "she was so messy"
He laughs "she was a kid"
"Yeah she was"
I sigh and look down at the Teddy in my hands.
"I miss her so much Henry"
"I know" he wraps his arm around me and kisses my head "you know she wouldn't want you to be sad. She would want you to keep moving forward and smiling"

I can't help but giggle "she would definitely be smiling if she could see us right now"
"Yeah?"
I nod "she was so adamant that we would be together forever. She told me you were my knight in shining armour to save me from my boring life"
He laughs "she was always an honest one"
"Yes she was"
"I mean....I think I saved you from a pretty boring night last night right?" He says as he kisses my neck
"Mmmmmm. Yes you did"
"Want some breakfast?"

"Please"
"Okay, you go shower and I'll go cook"
"Okay."
He leans down and places a soft chaste kiss onto my lips before walking back out and down to the kitchen.
I smile as I place Gracie Teddy down on the bed and walk towards her door.
"I think you were right Gracie. He is my knight in shining armour after all"
I leave her door open and make my way to my room, showering and getting ready for the day.
