Chapter 13

The people in the room looked at each other, not sure what to do after the talking panda left. While she did say that they should continue without her, none of them knows how to operate the remote, including the Koreans in the room because the remote had foreign symbols on it.

"Should we just wait?" TCF! Lock asked hesitantly when he saw no one was going to speak up.

"I guess so." TBOAH! Rei Stecker said. With that statement, everyone formed groups and talked about random things. After an hour, Adalie came back with a serious look on her face, silently grabbing Raon and TCF! Cale before leaving the room again. When thirty minutes passed, the door opened again with the three entering normally.

"Well then, let's start!" Adalie announced before pausing. "Oh, and we're skipping a few chapters."

"Why is that?" Sheritt asked.

"Well, something happened and those scenes got deleted out." Adalie explained with a smile. "If there is no more questions, let's start."

Chapter 16: Heading out (3)

"Young master, are you heading over there?"

"Oh, is this that time when..." TCF! Choi Han asked, only to stop when he saw TCF! Cale, who brought one finger to his lips, quiet him in a 'shush' action while rubbing Raon's head who was silently watching the show.

Ron approached him as soon as he stepped out of the carriage.

"Who will go if I don't?"

Ron and the Vice Captain started to chase after Cale, who was heading toward the incident location without any hesitation. The two surrounded Cale, as if the world was going to end soon, but Cale did not care.

A man slowly walked out of the other carriage. Venion Stan.

"Venion?!" TCF! Cage and Taylor exclaimed in surprise while TBOAH! Cage, TCF! Cale, TCF! Beacrox, TCF! Choi Han, and the two kittens glared/growled in anger. Raon just blankly looked at the show, still angry at the man who tortured him for years but a little calm as he already got his revenge.

Cale started to frown deeply as soon as he saw him. There was only one line in the file that his father Count Deruth gave him regarding Venion Stan's personality.

[A typical and authoritative noble]

Many, especially the nobles, frowned at the line, saddened and mad that such attitude was considered 'typical' by others.

Cale, well, Kim Rok Soo, could also use the information from, 'The Birth of a Hero,' to evaluate Venion.

Many, especially Taylor and both Cages, looked curious as to how the evil man was depicted in the novel.

"I swear if the novel shows that bastard with any good points, I will fucking murder that god of death." TCF! Cage threatened with her other self and TCF! Cale agreeing to help her.

Your typical villain.

However, it was quite a headache to meet that typical villain in real life, than it was as a character in a novel. Cale could not beat someone up for doing something bad or because he didn't like them like Choi Han could.

"You could, though?" TBOAH! Cale said with a raised brow. "Your reputation, or at least what was left of it, is still trashy so no one would scold you for that. They would just think Venion did something that offended you."

TCF! Cale just stared at him in shock before silently face palming himself, realizing that it was true.

"You still shouldn't beat people up!" Jour scolded the two while Rok Soo silently turned his head to laugh, feeling glad he wasn't being scolded for once.

The situation had already escalated a bit by the time Cale arrived. In those few short moments, Choi Han had already become so angry that his shoulders were shaking violently.

"Oh no." TBOAH! Rosalyn said in worry. "No one can control Choi Han when he's very angry, especially since he hasn't learned to control himself well yet."

"How can you get in the way of a noble person like that?"
"What the hell are you saying when someone could have gotten hurt? Who was in the way? This only happened because you were driving the carriage like a maniac!"
"Peasants should move out of the way when they see a noble's carriage. It is not my fault that this peasant was so stupid he just stood there without moving!"

"Of course the bastard has a scum of a driver." TBOAH! Choi Han murmured in anger.

Choi Han was arguing with one of Venion's lackeys, and Hans, who had been standing next to Choi Han, had a frown on his face as he approached Cale and whispered to into his ear.

"Choi Han-nim seems to be extremely agitated."

"You don't say?" Rasheel said sarcastically while rolling his eyes, starting to get annoyed at how many people kept saying the obvious things.

Hans seemed to have already realized that the owner of the carriage belonged to the Marquis's family. He also seemed to have realized that the person standing behind that lackey was none other than Venion Stan.

That narcissist probably only stepped out of the carriage because he saw the symbol of the Henituse family on Cale's carriage.

"Enough."

Venion, the man with beautiful blonde hair, gently spoke to his lackey.

TBOAH! Cage faked barf in her seat, feeling disgust crawl in her stomach when she heard the voice and wished they were just reading. She did not want to hear the voice of her friend's murderer.

As soon as Venion's words came out, the lackey quickly moved behind Venion, as if he had never been angry in the first place. Only Choi Han was left huffing and puffing while consoling the scared old man.

"Choi Han-nim is so kind." TCF! Hans said with a smile, remembering that time where TCF! Choi Han held his anger and prioritized the citizen's safety instead of attacking the noble when he himself barely had a calm head.

Tsk. Cale clicked his tongue.

The lackey wasn't actually angry. He was pretty far away from Cale's carriage, but just like Venion, he probably saw the Golden Turtle on Cale's carriage. That was why he was exaggerating, being extremely loud while scolding Choi Han, so that it will draw Cale out to the scene. Hans knew what the lackey was doing, which led him to frown while waiting for Cale to arrive.

Cale glared at Venion and the lackey before putting a hand on Choi Han's shoulder.

"You too."
"But-!"

Cale knew why Choi Han was angry. This place was very similar to Harris Village, his second home. He was angry at the fact that these people put someone else's life in danger but didn't show even an iota of remorse, or any signs of apologizing.

TCF! Choi Han nod at the correct reasoning of TCF! Cale as many smiled at his kind nature.

'To think this kind person has no hesitation in killing.' TBOAH! Litana thought with a frown. 'How sad.'

However, the victim in this, the old man, was unable to get angry. It was because he did not have anything to support him like Choi Han had.

Those that were not nobles empathized with the old man, remembering their helplessness when facing a noble who could kill them and their loved ones with one order.

"They could have used another road, but decided not do so and could have hurt someone. How can I just let this be-"
"Choi Han."

Cale put some pressure to push down on Choi Han's shoulder.

"Calm down."

Choi Han's black pupils looked directly at Cale. Cale could see the angry Choi Han, no, to be specific, the Choi Han that was being held down by the memories of Harris Village, starting to calm down.

After verifying that Choi Han was calming down, Cale turned his gaze to look at Venion Stan.

"Wow." TBOAH! Rosalyn and TBOAH! Lock couldn't help the amazed noise that left their lips.

"Amazing, you were able to calm Choi Han very quickly." TBOAH! Rosalyn praised. "How did you do that?"

TCF! Cale just shrugged, not knowing nor caring how.

Beautiful blonde hair

"I did not think his hair was beautiful." TCF! Cale clarified to not give anyone a wrong idea. "Nor do I think anything about him is. In my opinion, he's one of the ugliest being I have ever seen. It must have been stated that way for whoever knows."

'Which is true.' TCF! Cale thought. 'I've seen Elves, Whales, and even Dragons. His looks are way down in the bottom. Heck, he might not even enter the top 1000 list of most handsome male in this world.'

and a slight smile on his lips. Perfectly ironed attire without a single wrinkle. Boots without a single scuff mark. However, the thing that caught Cale's attention was the small amount of red at the tip of Venion's white dress shirt.

Those familiar with what blood looks like glared while the innocent ones were confused as to why TCF! Cale was mentioning that particular thing.

'Some blood must have landed on him while he was enjoying watching the Black Dragon being tortured.'

"That bastard..." Eruhaben glared with a little growl. "I should pay a small visit soon."

"I can come with and guide you where he is, Eruhaben-nim." TCF! Cale said with a smile, already having a plan on what to do when they meet Venion when they come back.

A crazy bastard. This Venion Stan was someone who enjoyed his meal while watching the torturer whip the Black Dragon until it was covered with blood.

"W-who does that?" TCF! Rex asked with a small whimper as the two kittens surrounded their youngest brother, Raon, as a way to silently support him.

"Nice to meet you. Are you someone from Count Henituse's household?"

"Isn't that obvious?" TCF! Basen said with a frown, disliking the look on the blond noble.

"Yes. Nice to meet you, Young master Venion Stan."

As expected, the other party knew of Cale.

"Who doesn't know me, well, us?" TBOAH! Cale asked with a small smirk.

"Yeah, our reputation spread far and wide." Rok Soo agreed. "Back then in the war, no matter where I went, everyone knew about me."

Venion was not someone who had an easy life in reaching the heir position. The problem was that he was a quite a bit rude.

"Only quite?" TCF! Cage asked. "I have a whole list of how rude that fucker is and that's not even all. Maybe a quarter but definitely not half."

"Mm."

Venion Stan was the type that could gently smile at you, but you still feel nothing but disgust for him.

"True." Taylor agreed, remembering the times he saw his younger brother with disgust and anger.

"I have not had any reason to come to this area,

"Lies." TCF! Cale whispered under his breath with a small glare.

and have only heard stories, but I heard there was someone in the Count's family who was a free spirit and did not seem like a noble."

"Hoh, how brave of him." Jung Soo glared.

"I want to beat him up." Soo Hyuk murmured with a frown.

"Go to the back of the line." Rok Soo said while stretching his arms. "I call shots for first kill."

"That's unfair!" Jung Soo spluttered. "He can only die once!"

"Too bad." Rok Soo shrugged.

"You're not the first one on the line, Rok Soo, I am." TCF! Cale said with a shrug before adding the person who looked at him with a questioning stare. "With Eruhaben-nim, of course."

Venion smiled as he observed Cale. It was a very annoying look, as if he was trying to start something.

"Oh boy, here we go." TBOAH! Eric sighed in annoyance, knowing what will happen next.

"I heard that young master Basen Henituse had been taking part in all of the gatherings of the nobles since last year-."

"That fu-guy is so annoying." TCF! Basen said with a glare, stopping himself from cursing when he saw TCF! Lily look at him. While he couldn't stop others from cursing, he could at least set a good example to his younger sister no matter how hard it is.

'Why ask something you already know about?'

"To be annoying." TCF! Hannah whispered under her breath.

Cale was not talented in these kinds of small talk. That was why he smiled brightly and respectfully answered.

"Yes. I am indeed that trash."

"Pfft." many laughed at how bold TCF! Cale was while others were excited to see the look the ugly blond had after hearing TCF! Cale's blunt statement.

Trash. The moment that word personally came out of Cale's mouth, Venion's lackey flinched.

"One of the trashiest of all of the trash probably."

"At least it's good that you know how to act trashy in the right time." Rok Soo begrudgingly praised. "I'll give you that."

The corner of Venion's mouth started to twist up. His expression seemed to say that he had never seen such a crazy person before, but Cale did not care.

Marquis Stan was someone who was strong enough to lead a faction, but Venion could not do as he pleased with other nobles until he was officially proclaimed as the future successor of the Marquis title.

"Which he will not be in this world." TCF! Cage proclaimed loudly, grinning at her best friend who smiled back at her.

While all of this was happening, TBOAH! Cage was asleep so that she will not feel more pain throughout the entire episode.

A Marquis would normally officially proclaim a child as their successor in order to provide protection to that child, as well as have that child start building their network at an early age. However, Marquis Stan had not done that yet.

'There are still three other children.'

Venion had two younger sisters and one younger brother. The Marquis enjoyed watching the competition between the siblings.

"What kind of parent enjoys watching their children fight?" TCF! Witira asked in disgust. "Is he crazy?"

"Well, Marquis Stan has always seemed out of it." TCF! Deruth agreed.

Venion enjoyed watching the Black Dragon being tortured in order to destress from the competition with his siblings.

"Why I should beat you up to relax myself from the stress, too." Eruhaben said in a low voice as he smiled mockingly. "Although I doubt you would live after that."

Now, now, Eruhaben-nim." TCF! Cale chided. "You can't kill him that easily. We should let others have fun, too."

The Marquis considered the competition between his children to be like an exciting sport. Naturally, the crippled eldest son was the result of this competition.

Taylor clenched his fist in anger, recalling the face of his father who didn't even care about his well being or listened to his complains about Venion. All he did was say that he was a weak child who got what he deserved before kicking him out of the audience room.

It was a completely crazy household.

Many agreed.

'Our Henituse family is an extremely great family in comparison.'

The TCF! Henituse family and its workers smiled that TCF! Cale considered the family his even when he wasn't treated properly.

"You're a very interesting person."

Venion just casually responded to Cale's statement.

The wealthy Count, who resided in the outskirts of the northeast without being a part of any faction. Who would try to develop a relationship with that family? If anything, people would just be greedy to take that land as their own.

"Please, like they can." TBOAH! Cale scoffed while rolling his eyes.

"Let them try." Rok Soo said with a relaxed smile as he slowly opened his eyes narrowly. "I like to see their helpless faces when they finish and realize their efforts were all in vain."

"No, no." TCF! Cale said with a disappointing look. "That's not how you ruin people. Here, I'll teach you so you two better listen. The first step is close to what Rok Soo said which is to act like you are being defeated but, in actuality, you are slowly eating them up. Together with that part, you should investigate if they've done something stupid or bad. The more the merrier, of course. After that, take your time and wait for them to strike. Make sure you give them a terrified and helpless look as they believe they are slowly defeating you. When they are about to finish their last step," here, TCF! Cale looked completely evil as he smiled with a crazed look in his eyes. "finish them off. Oh, but make sure you have something against them as a tight leash, okay? But don't tell them that. Let them believe can can still rise up from their defeat and wait patiently for them to try and rebel again. Trust me, it's absolutely enjoyable when you see the destroyed look on your enemies when they realize they were just playing on your hands since the very beginning."

When TCF! Cale was finished with his speech, he was surprised to see some people looking at him in fear, a couple in awe, and others with a determined gaze, writing down what he just said.

However, Venion didn't like Cale as a person. The trash eldest son and a pretty smart younger son. Knowing about Cale and Basen's relationship made Venion think of his own older brother when looking at Cale.

"Hey!" TCF! Basen shouted. "Hyung and I have a good relationship! Just... awkward at times."

However, Venion kept up the act of a proper noble, and handed the reins of this incident to Cale.

"An unexpected obstacle has made me waste time, but I guess it was a pretty good thing since I got to make your acquaintance, young master Cale."

An unexpected obstacle. Venion was referring to the old man. He was disappointed at the fact that his time was wasted because of this old man, and wanted to finish this on a happy note.

Many glared at the audacity of Venion.

"But it looks like you need to teach your subordinate to clearly distinguish between the people who have the right to travel across this road and this earth, as well as the people who have the right to make them stop."

"I mean, I think Choi Han already perfected that skill, given how he wanted to kill you before you manage to spread more of your germs in this earth." TCF! Cale commented as TCF! Choi Han looked happy while others laughed in amusement.

As a well-known Marquis's unofficial successor, this was the most he could do to the trash of a Count's family. His tone was saying that, although they were both young masters, their statuses were completely different.

"That bastard!" the sky eating water cursed in anger before explicitly mentioning what she wanted to do with the blond. "Why I..."

"What will happen if we mix all of our power inside my shield with him in it?" the shield asked playfully.

"Ohh, I want to see that!" the vitality of heart said in excitement before frowning in sadness. "A shame I can't do anything about it."

"Don't worry, I'll fucking burn that bastard for you!" the fire said with eagerness as both earth elements nod in agreement.

"Let's kick his ass!" Jour summarized the anger of TCF! Cale's power with determination.

Of course, Cale was quietly listening, but he wasn't the type to pay attention to a dog's yapping.

"That's right, young master." TCF! Ron said with a sharp smile. "You don't need to waste your time with something as trivial as that. Next time it happens, you can just leave it to me."

"I'll keep that in mind." TCF! Cale nod.

Venion finished what he had to say and looked toward the most uncomfortable looking person in the group.

Plop. The old man kneeled on the ground once Venion looked in his direction and bowed his head.

"M, my apologies."

The hands of the old man, who was bowing so low that his head could touch the ground, were shaking. Choi Han's hands were shaking as he watched the old man apologize.

Each territory's residents would be shaped by the personality of the reigning noble. With the Viscount of this territory being one of Marquis Stan's dogs, they were also very authoritative and looked down on the commoners.

"How much do I have to pay you to destroy them, young master Cale?" TCF! Witira asked. Since watching and reading his life, she has learned that if it doesn't affect him directly, TCF! Cale can only be moved through money.

"No need to pay me." TCF! Cale replied with a smile. "I'll gladly destroy them for everyone's benefit. Please wait for one week after we come back."

"Okay." TCF! Witira said with a smile as those near the two couldn't help but think they just watched a deal which would result in someone's death...well, anyway, it was more fun watching the show instead of reading it.

The corners of Venion's lips started to go up. He was satisfied. After observing Venion, Cale called out to him.

"Young master Venion."

Once Venion turned his head, Cale asked him a question.

"Are you done?"
"...I am."

Cale crouched down. His expensive clothes started to touch the ground. He then looked toward the shaking hands of the old man.

'It'll be dangerous if this continues.'

Cale was certain that he heard it.

"Huuuuuuuu~."

The sound of Choi Han taking a deep breath.

"That's true." TBOAH! Rosalyn agreed. "Although I don't see why it is a problem. The worst Choi Han would do is kill the blondie."

That had to be the sound of him holding back his anger. The moment Cale heard it, he could feel chills on the back of his neck, and felt that if this continued any longer, the one to get beaten to a pulp would not be himself, but Venion.

"Why is that bad?" TCF! Lily asked, causing many to pale.

"Oh no, the innocent ones have started to lose their innocence." TBOAH! Hans murmured in grief.

"No, no, Lily." TCF! Basen said while patting her head. "We don't talk about killing like it is a light thing. As a knight-in-training, you should help people instead."

"So I should help that ugly thing?" she asked with a frown.

"No, Lily, you help people if they are kind or helpless. To those like that blond on the screen, while you shouldn't kill him, ignoring him when he ask for help is a good idea." TCF! Cale explained which made TCF! Lily smile brightly.

"Okay, oraboni!" she exclaimed in delight as many, especially the Henituse couple, felt lost at what to do. On one hand, their eldest just taught their youngest how to ignore someone in need but, on the other, it was well deserve.

It didn't matter to him whether or not Venion was beaten to a pulp,

"Then what's the matter?" TBOAH! Rei Stecker asked.

but Choi Han could not punch a noble while he was associated with him.

"Ah, that's more like Cale-nim." TCF! Choi Han murmured in sadness. TCF! Rosalyn swore she saw drooping puppy ears on TCF! Choi Han's head.

Cale put a hand on the old man's shoulder. Venion's eyebrow started to twitch. A noble's hand was on a commoner's shoulder.

"How could he think about leading when he can't even do something like that?!" TCF! Litana exclaimed in frustration.

"Old man."

The old man seemed to be extremely shocked as he lifted his head to look at Cale.

"Y, yes?"

Cale casually asked.

"Where's the bar?"
"Excuse me?"
"Where can I get some delicious alcohol? As you've heard, I am trash. I don't feel refreshed in the morning if I don't have something to drink. I need to drink to make sure tomorrow is another great day. So."

Cale lifted the old man's upper body up. Venion, who had been watching Cale, quietly judged Cale and shook his head after hearing Cale mention alcohol.

"Lead the way."

Making eye contact with the shaking pupils of the old man, Cale started to frown as he continued.

"Are you not going to get up?"

The old man hesitated and looked back and forth between Venion and Cale. Cale just ignored him as he got back up and reached out the hand that had been on a commoner's shoulder toward Venion.

"It was nice meeting you today, Young master Venion."

Cale was asking for a handshake.

Venion quietly stood there and looked at Cale. At that moment, one of Venion's servants urgently approached them and whispered quietly to Venion. However, it was loud enough for everyone to hear.

"Young master, we have been delayed enough already."
"...Do not interrupt a conversation between nobles."

Venion looked down at his servant without a smile on his face, and the servant quickly bowed. Venion smiled once again as he grabbed Cale's hand.

"I will just be on my way then, as I am very busy."

He then let go. It was a very short handshake.

"Nice job." Rok Soo praised. "I might give you another chance in learning how to be trash if you continue showing good results in the watching."

"...Okay?" TCF! Cale said in a questioning tone, not sure how he should respond to it. However, seeing both Rok Soo and TBOAH! Cale nod, he figured it was a good answer.

Cale started to smile like a drunk person, as he responded back.

"If we happen to meet in the capital, let's have a drink together."
"...I do not think we would appreciate the same thing, but sure."

"Of course we don't like the same things." TCF! Cale rolled his eyes.

Venion's smile was lukewarm. Cale decided to do something big to finish this conversation.

Many leaned in to listen better.

"Yes. Based on our interaction today, it truly looks like only young master Venion deserves to be the future patriarch of the Stan family. You are a very cool person."

"Wow... you really gave him hope." Dodori said in amazement.

"How sad." Pendrick said. "Well, for him since he thought you would support him and all after that statement, not knowing he was going to be crushed."

'Oh? Pendrick's attitude has started to change.' TCF! Cale thought in surprise. 'If he were the old version of him, he wouldn't think of even saying something like that.'

Patriarch. That word made Venion's eyes get cloudy. As Cale expected, Venion started to smile brightly once again, and offered praises for Cale as well.

"Young master Cale is also a very interesting and free-spirited person. Let us meet again in the future."

'No. I have no desire to see you ever again. Even if I do, it will be from far, far away.'

"That's right, Human!" Raon agreed. "Just use all of your time by playing with us!"

"Nya~" the two cats said in unison with their cutest smile, hoping to win their...father although they know there was no competition.

Cale hid his true feelings and nodded his head. Venion quickly got back on his carriage, as if he was truly busy, and disappeared.

Cale watched the carriage disappear before patting Choi Han's shoulder.

"Half of the nobles are like that."

"You mean more than half." TBOAH! Duke Fredo said, having met many nobles in his kingdom and finding majority of them as boot lickers.

Choi Han's shoulders flinched at Cale's words, but Cale was already crouching in front of the old man again.

"Old man. You can't get up? Did you hurt your leg?"

Pat pat.

Cale inspected the old man's body as he said that. He did not seem to be injured. Cale started to observe the man with a confused expression. He then called Choi Han over.

"Choi Han."

Instead of responding, Choi Han just looked at the back of the crouching Cale.

"You take this old man home."
"N, no, I am okay. That bar you were talking about."
"No need. I'm not in the mood to drink."

Cale stopped the old man from trying to lead him to a bar, and looked toward Choi Han, who was standing next to him.

"Since you saved him, might as well do it all the way and take him safely back home."

"Young master Cale really dislikes effort, huh." TCF! Jack said with a wry smile, seeing how he tried pushing the work to TCF! Choi Han.

Choi Han's mouth opened and closed a couple of times, but he could not say anything. At that moment, the old man's voice filled Cale's ears.

"My place sells alcohol."
"Hmm? Old man, your place was a bar?"

"What a coincidence." TBOAH! Amiru said in astonishment.

Cale's eyes showed that he was really surprised. The old man awkwardly smiled, but continued to speak in a slightly more relaxed expression.

"Yes, sir. It is this village's only inn. It has a bar and a restaurant as well."
"Since it is the only inn, that must be the best place. Hans!"

Even without Cale saying anything else, Hans quickly approached the old man and helped him up, before starting to ask about the inn.

"He really is a good butler." TCF! Alberu commented. "A shame I couldn't hire him."

"You are always welcome to rent him, your highness." TCF! Cale said with a scammer smile. "Although my father doesn't allow me to sell him, sending him to you for a day or two is not a problem, right? Of course, you have to pay me."

"No thank you." TCF! Alberu rejected it with a smile. Although he liked the butler's attitude in working, he does not want to pay TCF! Cale anymore money, especially after seeing what he uses it for in the last few chapters.

Once the two of them started to move, things started to get rowdy around them.

Ron quickly approached Cale and brushed the dirt off Cale's clothes. The Vice Captain and the rest of the group headed toward the village entrance. The only people left there were Cale and Choi Han.

"...Cale-nim."
"What?"
"Are you not angry?"
"About what?"

Choi Han hesitated for a moment, and could not continue speaking. Cale shrugged his shoulders as he started to speak.

"The fact that he looked down on me? Or how he made such an unbelievable statement to you? How he almost killed that old man and, instead of apologizing, said that he was an obstacle?"

Cale's voice was calm and firm. He did not seem angry at all. In fact, it sounded indifferent. Cale continued to speak.

"Do you have to keep moving when you see someone in front of you? Why didn't you try to avoid him? Don't you see that you could have hurt the old man? How can you casually say that a person was an obstacle when you almost killed him?"

Choi Han paid attention to Cale, who was looking at a faraway mountain range. At the same time, he made sure to listen to Cale's every word. Cale continued to speak firmly.

"Venion, why is the old man apologizing to you? You should properly apologize to him."

Cale could speak like Choi Han, and there were times he wanted to do that. But.

"I am not someone who can speak like that. Nor do I want to. I'm also not that angry."

"You can and you should." Rok Soo said with a frown. "That bastard thinking lowly of us..."

"I should have annoyed him more when I met him." TBOAH! Cale said in regret.

"Don't worry, you can do all that so- I mean, ahhaha, let's continue watching!" Adalie realized her mistake and quickly changed the topic, ignoring the looks the people were giving her.

'They can't prove anything as long as I deny it.' she thought with a nod before paling a little. 'Well, as long as they don't try and attack or threaten me, I will never agree that I said anything.'

But this was not the time. Cale knew that this was one of the things that made Choi Han look cool, but he did not want to look cool like that.

"Oh?" someone who couldn't be pinpointed due to the loud laughs said in a teasing manner.

The old man wasn't injured, and he didn't do anything that would get the blade pointed toward his family. The fact that he himself looked bad would be beneficial to Basen, so it was good anyways.

"Hyung, I am all grown up now, you don't need to sacrifice anything for me anymore." TCF! Basen said with a small frown. "Live the life you want without worrying about us."

'I can't let Hyung sacrifice his life for us, especially seeing all the burdens he will and are carrying.' TCF! Basen thought.

TCF! Lily, on the other hand, was nodding in agreement.

"I will become the best swordswoman in the entire continent, Oraboni, so don't worry about anything!" she said with a smile.

Everyone looked touch at the scene. Well, not the villains but who cares, right?

"I've learned in life that it is best to act like this."

Compromise against power to a reasonable degree, accept irrationality to a reasonable degree. At the same time, live as I please within limits.

Many frowned at that thought. It wasn't pleasant to hear anyone say that, especially one who is their friend/family. However, before they could speak, they were interrupted by the next lines.

Cale smiled at Choi Han who was looking at him with a complicated gaze.

"Also."

Cale was someone who always returned the favor, no matter how long it took. If someone looked down on him or does something to him, he will always get his revenge.

"That's more like Human!" Raon said while flapping his wings, remembering how his human promised and fulfilled his wish on getting revenge.

"That bastard will probably soon be kicked out of his house."
"...Huh?"

Just like TCF! Choi Han, they were also confused on what TCF! Cale was talking about.

Choi Han could tell that the bastard Cale was referring to was Venion. That was why Choi Han showed a rare shocked expression on his face, as he looked toward Cale.

Cale had a mischievous smile on his face. The two kittens, who were approaching him silently, halted their movement.
Cale's smile grew larger as he continued to look toward the mountain to the right of the village. He thought to himself the thing he could not tell Choi Han.

'I plan on snatching that bastard's dragon.'

"Good." Eruhaben nod. "Make it quick."

Once the dragon is gone, Venion will have to face the wrath of the Marquis, and would have a new obstacle in his way of becoming the family patriarch. Shouldn't someone who doesn't know when to stop on the road face at least one obstacle?

Cale was willing to put a large obstacle in Venion's way. Of course, it would be done in secret. He casually spoke to Choi Han, who was looking at him with curiosity.

"Go for it, young master Cale!" TCF! Cage cheered with TBOAH! Cage who just woke up from her nap.

"If you're curious, you can help me out."
"Whatever it is, I definitely want to help."

Choi Han started to smile as well. It was a pretty evil smile for such a good-natured person, but the kittens were intrigued by that smile as well.

"It is intriguing to see someone like young master Cale smile like that." Paseton agreed. "I would want to know too."

Cale looked toward the mountain that was supposed to blow up in three days time, and started to mumble. The fact that he was looked down upon by Venion, as well as the blood on Venion's sleeves and the sight of the old man bowing to Venion were all still on Cale's mind.

"You won't regret it."

He will be able to pay him back for it.

"You definitely won't regret it."

"And I didn't." TCF! Choi Han said with a smile as the two kittens meowed in agreement.

"Well, let's watch the next chapter!" Adalie cheered. "It's going to be very fun~"
