As I saw the 4 of them walk out to take the first stage, I could not help feel this dark, ominous feeling that something bad was going to happen to them. 

Jihoon. Stop thinking those dark thoughts. I shook my head to try and get them out of my mind.

"Ji, habit is the second stage. We need to get ready under the stage."

I nodded at my hyung, putting on my in-ears and taking my microphone, before following the rest of them. The 5 of us were going to be on platforms that would get us up to the stage. I was going to go with jeonghan hyung so we stayed crouched there.

I heard the audience countdown and saw the red cloths tumbling down.

Suddenly, a loud thud was heard.

"Hyung!" I heard dino shout as the 3 of them run towards a fallen figure. At this scene, I did not care that I was supposed to be hiding, and ran out instantly, seeing 8 more figures run with me.

Upon reaching, I took off my jacket which was meant for the performance later and wrapped it around his head as a makeshift bandage. The jacket was white and it soon became soaked with his blood. I could faintly hear someone call an ambulance in the meantime.

"Stay with us Stay with us."

"I-I'm s-sorry......."  I heard him mutter out as his lids closed and he lay limp, still breathing, but weak. 

"Hyung! Hyung!" I could hear the other member shout from behind. I could only cradle his head in my arms, still trying to stop the bleeding but to no avail.

Moments later, the medics on the scene came and tried to stop the bleeding using a haphazardly wrapped bandage around his head and moved him to a better position. There I saw that he had probably injured his leg too as it was slightly twisted at a weird angle. 

"We are going to carry him out so that the ambulance can get him faster."

 All of us were still in shock, so our manager managed to acknowledge and asked us to go back in, change our clothes and go to the hospital. He and other bodyguards were trying to stop reporters. 

As I stood and turned around, ready to go back in, something caught my eye. 

A piece of silicone. 

I walked over and picked it up, holding it tightly before running after the other members.

I tapped my foot against the floor as I sat at the emergency ward, face devoid of emotions. The rest of them were crying, wailing. I felt nothing. It was as if there was always a light in my life, but that light had now disappeared, leaving only darkness. Soonyoung. The only thing on my mind. 

"Ji, come on, you need to rest. too"

I shook my head.

I could hear coups hyung sigh. He then told the younger ones to go home.

Suddenly the sound of someone running and pants could be heard.

"Muel!! How have you been?! Why are you here?" I could hear dino call out excitedly.

"How is hyung..."

He knows soonyoung? Who exactly is this kid that chan knows? I was confused.

"he is... still inside"

"Soonyoung hyung... Its all my fault... I shouldn't have listened to that asshole." He then started sobbing. 

I saw Jeonghan hyung run to the younger boy and hushed him, probably his motherly instincts as usual.

After awhile, Samuel finally calmed down in Jeonghan's arms. 

"Can you introduce yourself?" Jeonghan asked.

"He is my cousin. He's called Kim Samuel." Dino said.

"No... I'm technically Kwon Samuel." 

"What?"

"I'm soonyoung hyung's half brother. Channie hyung doesn't know either... I'm a mistake. Soonyoung hyung's dad had a one night stand with my mum, then my mum got pregnant with me. But I took my mum's surname."

"Then how is Soonyoung getting injured your fault?" Jeonghan hyung asked.

"That man, my dad, h-he asked me to spoil the performance... H-He threatened to injure those that I love which means soonyoung hyung and channie hyung. B-But channie hyung shouldn't be caught up in our family problems, so I-I tore the cloth..."

"You did WHAT?!"

"Cheollie, chill, let the kid finish."

"I had no choice. I texted hyung to not perform but he didn't listen. I tore the cloth in a way that could be easily seen even if it was extremely dark. B-But H-Hyung h-he didn't s-see... I knew there was still  a chance he didn't see so I hid this retractable sponge carpet under his platform to lessen the impact from the fall... But I know all this means nothing because all in all, it was still my fault." Samuel lowered his head down in shame.

"I experienced your dad before. I saw what he did to Soonyoung. Let's just hope for the best ok? The damage has already been done. Thank you for owning up." Scoups said Samuel looked up at him in shock. He did not think that the leader would forgive him so openly, especially after his previous outburst.

"Oh and channie hyung... Please be careful. If he knows you are in seventeen too he will try and kill you. I have been hiding the fact from him but if he searches it...."

"Don't worry muel, I'll be fine. 6 of us are going back, come with us?" Chan looked around at his hyungs for approval and they nodded.

"I want to wait till the doctor comes out..."

"Go back the 6 of you, we will take care of samuel. We still need to talk to the press tomorrow," The 6 younger ones nodded and exited.

"Hyung, I'm going to walk around." Jihoon softly mummered before grabbing his phone and walking away.

"Can I go after him?" Samuel asked.

"Sure but be careful." Jeonghan said as Samuel walked after the shorter male.

PS: Btw, Samuel wasn't trainees with them in the story so only Chan and Soonyoung knows him. jic anyone of you are confused.
