"Muichiro-san you must eat to fill your stomach."

Muichiro nods and follows you. From the corner of your eyes, you can see Mui grimaced at the taste. You almost laugh.

To be honest the ration isn't the best meal you've eaten. The texture is hard and the taste is bland. Well not trying to be rude, but since you came here, you haven't taste any food that match your standard- having your tastebud spoiled daily by Aoi's home cooking.

But you are in no place to complain, if this is all you can get then it's better than nothing.

"Commander"

"Commander Pyxis"

"Please wake up"

Leanne, sigh for the third time today. 

"Am I really going to spent my whole soldier life baby-sitting a bald grandpa?" She mutter.

Squinting her eyes, she raise a hand and deliver the good ol' smack on the shiny, round surface.

*Smack*

"Fngh!"

"You'll get sick if you sleep here." 

Leanne snatch the bottle Commander Pyxis hold, "How do you drink so much?"

"You're not young anymore Commander.. I don't want to change your diapers in the near future."

Pyxis took the bottle back and gulp his drink, "I wouldn't mind being bedridden if it meant a fine young lady would attending to me.

So what's the situation?"

Leanne frown, "We sent troops to scout after the titans stopped appearing at our primary and secondary defense lines.. 

But we've still barely discovered any titans."

Snapping open another bottle, Pyxis mumble, "Hmph, if Hannes's advance party safely swept the wall.. They should be returning just about now.."

"But in that case, they would also have encountered a few titans on their way.." Leanne answer.

"Which would be impossible if there really was a hole in the wall." He said.

"Commander Pyxis!" A new voice shouted, swooping up the wall Pyxis sitting on.

"Ah Erwin," Pyxis smiles, "I hear we've caught one of our mice."

"Yes, but we ended up one step short."

"Still, I'm sure our friends in the center have something to think about. How they have to consider if they're prepared to die together with their old-fashioned traditions." 

The blonde haired smiles, "That seems to be the case, just look-

We've finally been able to drag the Military Police brigade out here to an area where we actually face titans."

"Are there really no titans..?" Jean ask. 

"Looks like it, I thought it was oddly quiet."

Jean purse his lips, "....I wonder if they're still alive"

"Hmm? We heard it was an emergency and came out here." A military police speaks.

"But things look pretty relaxed around this place." Another join.

"Oi Levi!"

"Where's our prey?"

Levi shift on his seat and look at them, "Huh? You fellows look awfully disappointed."

"Sorry that I couldn't set you up with any titans. You might be out of luck this time around, but..

There are plenty of chances to see them outside the walls." Levi continues.

"Why don't we start combining our forces, to face off the titans?" He suggest.

Troubled looks start to appear on the MP's faces.

"Uh well-"

"You know we have to work on the insides too-"

"THE ADVANCE PARTY IS BACK!" A voice interrupts. 

"SOMEONE TELL COMMANDER PYXIS!"

A garrison fall on his knees, wheezing for air, "W-we found no holes or any other irregularities in the wall.."

Pyxis crouch down and look up, "I see."

"B-but the situation was turned into an emergency! On our way to report to Trost District, we encountered a Survey Corps team led by Hange. There were a number of unequipped recruits from the 104th with them.."

"But among them, three of those soldiers.."

"WERE TITANS!" The Garrison shout, collecting attentions from both the Survey Corps and Military Police. 

"Huh..?"

Jean hurries to the Garrison, "What are you saying?!

t-there were still three titans on that team?! 

WHO?!"

Erwin holds Jean, "Jean, wait."

"Once they were discovered, what happened?" Erwin ask.

"The Survey Corps engage the Colossus and the Armored titan! By the time I joined in the battle..

It was over."

"Eh, not bad, but not good.." Hannes munch. "Same as always."

He looks at Mikasa and Armin, who just hold the ration without doing anything to it. Y/N and Mui on the other hand, has been chomping down the ration.

"Well, they haven't eat since last night." Hannes think.

"I'm still hungry" Mui mutters, mouth full of food. He lays his head down on his knees, looking at nothing in particular. 

"Sorry, I have nothing left," Hannes answered, "but here, to quench your thirst." 

He hand Mui a bottle of water. Mui looks at Y/N, who look upward at the clouds. He drink the water carefully, trying not to spill it on himself, as he's holding it upward above his mouth, trying not to touch the surface with his. 

"Here," He hand the bottle to Y/N, who turn her body back to give him a smile and take it from him.

"Thanks."

Mui let out a small beam, an unknown feeling burst inside him. He hides his face down on his knees. 

Mikasa if notice, just keep silent. 

The short silence is then interrupted by Hannes who starts, "No different from all the other times."

"You've always had to take care of the messes... that little brat got himself into right?"

Mikasa let out a single tear, that almost instantly got absorbed by the fabric that hides half of her face.

"You're stuck with him, for better or worst.

Sheesh... so much has changes since then, but you're still doing the same things you did as kids.

Right?"

"Heh, but there's a bit of a size different between neighborhood bullies and titans." Armin joke. 

"Still... that idiot never seemed to care that he didn't know how to fight. I never saw him admit defeat either." 

"But," Hannes add

"He's so tenacious that it even scared me from time to time. No matter how many times he fell, he got back up. That's who he really is.. do you really think he'd let himself get carried off without a fight?"

"No." Hannes answered his own question. "He's fight with everything he had, and he's only up against two guys. No matter who, he'll keep giving them trouble..

Eren has always been like that, right?"

Sorry for the short hiatus I take, without giving any information. I was going to make this chapter longer, but decide to stop here. I haven't write in a while, so maybe the qualities has went down a bit (not like the previous is good or anything). Well, I hope you enjoy this chapter. Again, kinda a filler chapter, hope the next one have some action in them.
