Taeyongs POV:

As you and Taeyong wait by the bus stop, he looks to see on the bus app how far the next bus is.

His thoughts are suddenly interrupted by the sound of you snoring, He watches as your head bobs back and forth, as you sleep with your arms crossed in front of you.

Huh? She's kind of cute when she's sleeping.

But you suddenly start to teeter off the bench.

"Gotchu " Taeyong gently catches you by your arms before gently settling you on the bench.

"Jeez. You're more trouble than you look y/n." Taeyong muses.

I wonder, should I rest her head on my shoulder?

I mean just as a precaution so she doesn't fall off her bench?

No! No! What the heck am I thinking. That feels like stepping over her boundaries!

I'll just make sure she doesn't fall like before."...

A few minutes later the bus arrives. Taeyong carefully tries to wake you up and help you walk into the bus.

On the bus he guides you to a seat by the window and sits next to you. It didn't take you long to nod back to sleep.

Taeyong smiles to himself as he continues to watch you sleep noticing how your head bops back and forth.

It's kind of amazing how she can sleep without a care in the world,

Suddenly your head bops to the side and finally rests on Taeyong's shoulder.

"Hey... what the?" Taeyong notice that you seem to be more at rest now.

...

With your face only inches away from  his, Taeyong is able to really look at you.

Huh she has freckles on her cheeks. Probably from her days of running in the sun.

Also  I never noticed how small she actually is.

She's usually so energetic and confident but right now she seems so delicate. Like a flower?

....

The bus stops a few meters from your house,

"Sorry kids but this is the end of the line." The bus driver suddenly announces. "There's some construction up ahead so you two will have to walk to rest of the way,"

Taeyong tries to gently wake you up again. "Hey y/n? Please wake up. We need to go to your house now."

" y/n?"

This time there is response. You are in deep sleep.

"Kid I'm sorry but I have to circle back to be on time for this route. You'll need to get off now." The bus driver apologetically states.

With y/n fast asleep with no indication of her waking up anytime soon, Taeyong is left with only one choice,

He gently helps you up from your seat and places you on his back.

"Thank you sir and have a good night" Taeyong says to the bus driver before heading out with you.

"Ooph! She's actually heavier than she looks." Taeyong notes before gasping at the steep hill in front of him.

No...way?

Just see this as strength training. Also it's an opportunity to show great sportsmanship by helping out a fellow athlete.

Taeyong steadily carries you on his back as he gradually makes his way up the hill.

While half way there he starts to notice that his neck feels wet.

"Hmmm?" Taeyong peaks  over his shoulder to see you crying in your sleep.

s-she 's crying?

"Hey Y/n how are you feeling?" Taeyong asks.

You squirm a bit before suddenly exclaiming...

"No! Tae... I only want you..."

"What?!" Taeyong gasps almost dropping you. "Hey y/n are you awake?"

But there is no other response since you've nodded back into deep sleep.

Taeyong is at first confused by this sudden confession and starts to blush at the thought.

What is this? A drunk confession? There's no way she meant me. I mean, we just met today.

Taeyong continues to walk up the hill and just as he nears your house he notices a man  standing by the front door.

Is that Mark? No he wouldn't be back so soon. Her brother?

Then why would he be standing outside.

Is that.. y/n's boyfriend?

Crap! If that's her boyfriend then this looks really suspicious!

I'm really not trying to start any drama

"Y/n is that you?! What the heck happened? I've been trying to get a hold of  you all evening!" The stranger says as he quickly walks over to Taeyong.

"Here, let me help you. She can be kind of heavy." the stranger says as he helps you off Taeyongs back and into his arms.

"I'm sorry! Mark asked me to bring y/n home. If I'd known someone was waiting for her I would've asked Mark for your contact. My name's Taeyong I'm a senior at Soo-man Academy. Because I'm a fellow schoolmate, Mark asked if I could bring y/n home. " Taeyong explains.

"Oh. You're Taeyong? Yeah, I've heard about you. Sorry, my name's Taemin. I'm also a senior at Soo-man Academy and y/n's classmate. It's nice to meet you!" Taemin says with a foxy smile.

"I can see the mixer went well for y/n. Who knew she'd get a guy to bring her home on the first night?" Taemin remarks.

"No! It's not like that! Respectfully I just see y/n as a fellow athlete. I have nothing but respect for her. I got worried when she accidentally got drunk tonight and since Mark got tied up I agreed to take her home. I didn't try to make a move or anything. Especially now that I know she has a boyfriend." Taeyong nervously explains.

"A Boyfriend? Haha you mean me? No, I'm sorry, I'm just y/n's friend. If you'd like to, you can totally make a move on her." Taemin teases.

"What?! I... uh? " Taeyong begins to sheepishly blush.

"Relax Taeyong I'm just teasing."

"Ha of course? Anyway it was nice meeting you Taemin, I'll leave the rest to you. Goodnight." Taeyong says before quickly heading for the bus stop.

"You too Taeyong." Taemin says as he carries you into your house.

I guess Taemin already knows y/n's house code. The two of them must be really close.
