Caretaker Duties

Once all the kids had arrived, Blake and I decided to split up, I went in one room and he went in the other. The kids quickly began to play and I took a seat after the morning rush. Unfortunately, it was short lived as crying echoed the room. I looked over to the source, a little bear cub was crying as I watched a little skunk kick down his building blocks.

With a sigh I walked over.

"Hey Sam buddy, what are you doing? It's not nice to kick other peoples blocks" I said to the skunk

All I got in return was a giggle as Sam ran away. I had talked to his father this morning since Sam was a new charge. Apparently the toddler was prone to getting up to mischief and was quiet the stinker at times.

"Well is there anything I can do that might help prevent him from doing this stuff" I asked the skunk dad

"Ha, oh no, don't worry. You'll learn to play along with it and come to enjoy the antics he gets up to"

Looking back I didn't know how to respond to that. But luckily the toddler seemed to run off and was out of trouble for the moment. As for myself, I was alerted by the evident smell of a poopy diaper. Looking over at the bear cub from early, there was a fresh lump of smelly muck in his rear. I sighed, picked up the tot and carried him over to the changing table.

As I got the cub into a fresh diaper and placed him back at his blocks, Willy came running up to me.

"Drew! Drew! I gots to go potty!" The pup said doing an evident potty dance and holding his crotch

I grabbed his hand and we ran to the potty. I helped him pull down his pull-up and he sat. Not a moment later did a hissing sound erupt in the potty.

"Yay! I made it!" Willy said excitedly

"Yeah congrats buddy! Let's get that pull-up back on and let me know if you need to go later"
