Chapter 19: Arrival

Levi's POV

"I'm surprised you didn't pick that other boy." Uncle chuckled as we stopped in front of Hanji's house. One of the servants began to take Hanji's single luggage into the car as she was led towards us. "I thought you didn't date her."

"I'm dating her now. I don't want that arranged marriage. If I want to marry, I want it to be with her."

"Her parents look a bit familiar-."

"Shut up." I hissed, "No family business talk when she's around. I don't want her to know the truth about it, okay? I'll tell her soon... on my birthday. Please, Uncle. I'm begging you to not bring up the family business until then."

Uncle Kenny sighed, shaking his head. "Fine."

"Thank you." The car door opens and Hanji steps in. "Hey, Hanji. You remember my uncle, right?"

Uncle raised his hand towards Hanji, smirking as soon as Hanji sat next to me. "Nice to meet ya."

"Hello. I'm Hanji. Levi's-."

"Girlfriend, I heard." They shook hands as Hanji scooted closer to me. "This will be a 4 day trip on your own. Are you okay with this?"

Hanji nods her head. "Yeah, I'm fine with it." She smiles softly, "Sure, it's a little surprising and a bit long, but I think it should be fun."

Uncle then leaned towards her, scowling. I knew it wasn't a good thing, so I held Hanji's hand tightly. I wouldn't want her to feel alone... even though I have to be away to act as a pretty boy for the company. "This isn't a fun event, Hanji. You do understand this, right? This is our family business and you're only here because Levi invited you here."

"I know, but I'm saying it should be fun because when Levi's done with his side of the business, we can spend the summer together. That's what I'm hoping for. I accepted this because I wanted to spend more time with Levi."

Uncle chuckled, leaning into me. "She's a keeper. I wonder what she'll say when she finds out the truth about you."

At least she loves me for who I am and not because of how much money I'm worth.

On the plane, we all sat in first-class; thankfully, Uncle didn't sit next to us. Hanji and I have a row to ourselves. We watched animated movies because we prefer that instead of real-life movies. Ice cream was shared between us as I continued to fall for her. I'm scared of scarring my body for how many falls I had to fall for her.

She passed out an hour before we landed... and I have never seen her sleeping before. She used my shoulder as a pillow, holding me tightly. I gently moved one of her strands of hair out of her face as she slept. Is it bad that one of these nights, I want to crawl into bed with her and just sleep next to her? Just sleep into the night and wake up next to her in the morning?

"Whoa..." Hanji reached for my hand as she looked around the hotel. It was one of those 5-star hotels that only rich people go to. This might be the only time she would see a hotel like this... unless she loves me... and we can get married... "Wait... we're staying here?"

I nodded my head, "Yeah, we are."

"What kind of family business are you involved in?" She laughs after I get the keys to our rooms. "I'm very curious, but I respect that I have to wait until... Christmas?" She chuckles as we take the elevators up. "That's also your birthday, right?"

"Yeah, it is."

"Halfway through the year..." She chuckles as the ding of the elevator for our floor echoed. "Oh, we're here. Um... what's our room number?"

"809 and 810. I... I requested that our rooms be next to each other... you know, those rooms with the doors to the other room."

"Ohh, adjoining rooms."

"Yeah, that. And you might be a little surprised about the hotel rooms."

"Why?"

The second we unlocked the doors I sense that Hanji's jaw dropped to the ground. "I chuckled, turning the lights on. "This one is your room. I'll open mine so we can unlock the doors inside."

"Uh-huh..." She mumbles to herself as she slowly walked into the room.

We took a few minutes looking around, but I still think she's stunned to have a king bed and a huge TV to watch movies on when I'm busy. Plus, the room service... it had a wide variety of things that Hanji wouldn't need to leave the room when I'm busy being my uncle's little rat. We opened the doors connecting our rooms... just the two of us.

"Well, uh..." I began, struggling to find the words. "Dinner's not until 8 pm... that's 2 hours from now... what do you want to do?"

"Is there a pool here?"

"Yeah, there's a lot of them. We can go to the one upstairs. It has a hot tub there."

"Wait? Really? Let's go then."

Looking down, I remember the last time I saw her in a swimsuit... now it's just the two of us here... the two of us...

"Levi, is everything alright?"

"Huh?" I looked up at her, seeing her unzipping her suitcase. "Oh, nothing. It's nothing, Hanji. I'll get changed, okay?"

"It's a bit better than studying, am I right?" She chuckles to herself. Right... at least it's not studying...
