Author's pov:

✨one week time skip✨

Naruto pov:
It's been a week since my argument with Madara.
At first I was worried he'd do something out of spite, but I was wrong. For the most part, the only change was that he intentionally avoided me; which I have absolutely no problem with. Other then that, most of the Uchiha's avoid me because I'm an outsider.
But their are some really nice people who like to talk to me when I do go out. Like lady Makina. She is a sweet old lady who works as head maid. They may have blank faces, but they are all sweet hearts who love their families.

Regardless, I have been at the Uchiha compound for to long. I need to find a way to leave.
I look out my small window at the bright moon. The shy was pitch black except for a few twinkling stars. Quickly, I make up my mind. I get dressed and turn my jacket inside out to cover the bright orange details. I refrain from bringing anything with me because it would only waugh me down. Everything, except a small silver necklace with a blue stone on it that Izuna had given me.

I smile at the memory. He was so happy. Then I shake my head and jump out the window into the dark night.

...✨20 minute time skip✨

Madara pov:
I was sitting in my office doing some clan paperwork when izuna burst through my door looking worried. I turn to look at him and he looks slightly frantic.
"Naruto isn't in his room and we can't find in in the compound!"
At his words, I stiffen. Naruto has been with us for months, why would he wait this long to try and leave? Is it because he was no longer injured? No, he was healed within a couple weeks. Then why?
A thorough cuts through my mind.
Maybe it was because of the argument that the two of them had. But Naruto didn't seem like the type to be particularly effected by something like that...what if-

"Ani! what do we do?!"
My thoughts are interrupted by Izuna's voice. I look up to see him pacing pacing with his hands on his hips. My eyebrows raise as a thorough enters my mind.
" Do you remember that necklace you gave as a gift to Naruto?"
Izuna looks at me in confusion.
"Ya, why? How is that relevant right now?"
I smirk at his confusion.
"Well, I put a tracking seal on it. So if he has it on him, we can find him."

Izuna looks at me for a few seconds before a look of irritation falls on his face.
"You are so lucky that we need that to find him otherwise I would have hit you for tampering with his gift."
I sigh and roll my eyes a bit at his childish attitude. The blonde ha really rubbed off on him.
"Whatever, let us just head out to find him."
Izuna nods and we dash out of the office.
