You were now staying in Shigure's house.

Before you knew it, it felt like back when you were in middle school.

One day, you were just lying in your futon in Tohru's room as you stared out into empty space.

You were stressing out over your mom's death. Was it really your dad, or was there another party involved?

"What are you doing?"

You let out a small shriek as you turned your head to see who it was.

It was Yuki. He was lying next to you, staring up at the ceiling.

"Hey, you're supposed to knock!" you scolded.

"I did, but you wouldn't answer," he said.

"So you just let yourself in?"

"Well, you did give me the trauma of you leaving us," he said jokingly.

He turned his head to look at you. Your face showed an immense amount of guilt.

"Uh, you know I was just joking, right?"

You noticed his face was really close.

You then spread your hand out on Yuki's face and slightly pushed it back.

"Hey! What are you doing?" he asked as he peeled your palm off his face.

"You're way too close," you said as you looked the other way, getting a little embarrassed.

Yuki blushed at this.

Cute.

He lifted your hand and placed it near his ear on the side of his face.

"I think this is a good distance. Of course, I wouldn't mind if we got closer than this," he said with a really pretty smile.

His playful, yet warm smile caught you off guard, leaving you tongue tied. Usually, you weren't this reserved of a person, but for some reason, you couldn't think of anything to say at that moment.

Without even thinking, you moved your finger and traced his cheek bone area with your index.

Yuki looked at you with a look you couldn't explain.

The two of you just got lost in each other's eyes. It was like having a conversation without speaking to each other.

That was when both of you jolted up as you heard someone knock on the door.

Tohru came in and the two of you were just sitting and acting like nothing happened.

"Dinner's ready!" she said with a cheery voice.

"Y-yeah. We'll be there," you said.

Tohru was confused to why you and Yuki were acting strange, but she thought nothing of it and closed the door.

There was an awkward moment of silence in the room.

"Uh, wanna go down to eat?" asked Yuki.

"S-sure," you said as you clumsily stumbled to your feet.

***

"Y/n, it's time to wake up," said Tohru as she gently shook you awake.

You squinted your eyes as the golden rays of sunlight illuminated through the windows.

You took a minute to stretch and roll around in the bed. Then, you groggily sat up.

"What day is it?" you asked.

"It's March XX," said Tohru.

"I meant what day, not date," you said with a tired, croaky voice.

"It's Thursday."

"Ugh. Why can't it be Friday already?" you whined.

You got up, changed into your uniform, and went downstairs to eat breakfast.

"Morning, Y/n," said Yuki.

"Morning," you said with a yawn.

Kyo was already done eating and was getting ready to go.

The four of you walked to school together.

When you arrived, you went to your locker. You opened the door and in it was a letter. The others peeked in.

"Another letter from the cult?" asked Uotani.

"No doubt about it," said Kyo.

"Cult? What cult?" asked Momiji.

"You weren't here when it happened, but last time Y/n got a letter, it was from the Prince Yuki Fan Club," said Tohru.

"They all thought it was a love letter at first, but the letter itself was more like a death threat," said Kyo.

"Hurry up and open it. I'm dying to see what they wrote this time," urged Uotani.

"I'm not gonna lie, I'm curious on what they wrote too," said Yuki, leaning in.

"We don't even know if it's from them," you said as you unfolded the note.

"I agree. The waves are telling me it's not a death threat this time," said Hanajima.

"What? No way..." Uotani trailed off as she read the contents of the letter.

Uotani's eyes widened as she read it.

"What? What does it say?" asked Momiji.

"It says, 'Meet me at the back of the school after class,'" you read aloud.

"Isn't that technically a love letter?" asked Haru.

Yuki looked visually disgusted. "Don't tell me you're actually going to go?"

"Hey Prez, what's wrong? Could it be that you're jelly?" asked Uotani as she nudged him with her elbow.

Yuki face was flushed with embarrassment.

"What!? No!" he said rather loudly.

"Ahaha. You are too."

"Am not!"

"Are too."

"Am not!"

"You don't have to lie to yourself, Prez. No shame in showing your feelings to someone you like," she teased.

"Tsk. Whatever," said Yuki as he stomped away.

"Woah. Yuki-kun's surprisingly really easy to read!" said Momiji.

"He's usually not," said Haru.

"So, what are you going to do? Are you going?" asked Uotani as she swung her arm over your shoulder.

"I guess so. I've got to at least give them an answer," you said.

Once class was over, you grabbed your belongings and went on your way to the back of the school.

You then suddenly stopped in the middle of the hallway.

"Come out. I know you're there," you said.

There was a moment of silence.

Then, Yuki, Kyo, Tohru, Uotani, Hanajima, Momiji, and Haru stepped out.

You took in a deep breath. "Why are you all following me!?"

"Were we not sneaky enough?" asked Momiji.

"With that big of a group? No. Not at all," you said.

"But we want to know who gave you that letter," said Yuki.

"You want to know who gave me the letter."

"But to be quite frank, I would like to know as well," said Tohru.

Uotani raised her hand. "Me too."

"Can't Hanajima use her waves or something?" You looked to her for clarification.

"Even I have limitations to my ability. After all, I am human," said Hanajima.

"You sure about that?" asked Kyo with a hint of sarcasm.

"Can't you guys at least not be so obvious?"

"We'll try," said Uotani with a shrug.

You turned around and headed to your destination while the others stealthily followed.

When you arrived, you noticed there was no one there yet, so you decided to wait.

You waited and waited until ten minutes passed.

"What's taking them so long?" you wondered out loud as you checked the time on your phone.

You then heard footsteps come around the corner. Someone finally decided showed up.

"Hello Y/n," said a familiar sounding voice.

You looked up and was totally confused when you saw who was standing before you.

"Huh? So you're the one who left the letter in my locker?"
