The kid that had been treated like a servant grows up incredibly handsome in a simple village inside the kingdom of Lynton. Many young women in their neighborhood know him, admire him for being a gentleman and hardworking. They want him to be their boyfriend, they were trying their best to get his attention but Jungkook never thought of it nor flirting with any of them

"I'm still young to think about love"

That is Jungkook's line every time someone approach him, asking if he ever been in love or thought about who to love

He blush though he insists no one captures his attention, but his mind wanders of someone... Someone captures his eyes and he thinks she's the only one he wants to look at

"Where she might have gone? Is she thinking about me? It's been months since she didn't visit me even though I feel sad or tired... Maybe she got busy or maybe she found another man to visit"

Jungkook thought every time he was thinking about her

Her mother Jin is a nice, loving Mother, she took care of her son and hopes that she didn't fail on how she did it, Taehyung talks to her once, twice if she feels like she's in trouble while raising him. Taehyung trusted her, though Jungkook had a hard life growing up surrounded by judging eyes of the elder of their village, on how older people in his village treats him. Jungkook never asked her to change location

Jungkook is known as the son of their king but still everyone is mistreating him mostly elders

They were calling him names like bastard and the younger ladies defend him but none of it sink on his head. He's happy with his life with his mom by his side, his father the king supports him whatever hobby he likes to do and the beautiful lady that always visits him at the end of the day or even late in the evening when he was small

He is a contented young man with a simple dream. To have a family of his own

It's the weekend and the king has a regular schedule of visiting them. His family. A Family that according to him is the one who has his heart and he left it in the village where Jin and Jungkook are living

King Namjoon has another son from the queen. His name is Hyungsik and everyone knows him. Jungkook knows and he doesn't mind having a stepbrother. He met him sometimes when his father decided to come with him on weekends

Namjoon wants his son to know each other. His reason? They might have different mothers, differences in attitude but they need to be used to be with each other

They are siblings

Jin, his beloved partner never mind having the prince in her small home but the queen is different. She forbid her son to be with them but she can't do anything. Namjoon wants Hyungsik to acknowledge his other son and so that it will be done

Jin treats him like her own. Hyungsik thought Jungkook wouldn't accept him for a lone reason that he's a son of the queen but no. Jungkook is excited to meet him the first time the king brings him

Jungkook is so happy when his father comes with another boy. He knows he is his brother, an older brother, Namjoon told Jungkook about him even before. At that time Jungkook didn't know how to face him, how to treat him.. he knew he was the rightful prince. The heir to the throne. He once thought that prince Hyungsik is angry at them like his mother but he was surprised when the prince brings a lot of toys for them to play with on his 2nd time they visit

first time Namjoon bring Hyungsik was when he is 4 years old.. Jungkook is 2 at that time...he visit them every week with him till Hyungsik reach the age of 15 and then it stops. The young prince needs to study and the queen insists that her son get distracted about it when he is gone with the king just to visit his other family

That day he doesn't have plans to work and spend the whole day playing with his step brother though sometimes he leaves him because some of their neighbors calls him asking him to help them with the house chores but the prince got angry once he left and it took 3 hours for him to get back

They were still young that time

Years passed and they are still playing but not with toys anymore, with weapons in their hands this time

prince Hyungsik is a fine man, dressed like a prince like he should. Get a lot of respect from the villagers and he treats Jungkook as a real brother

Till one day the king arrived with Prince Hyungsik

Jungkook didn't expected it. He finished his work fast to spend time with him. He missed him a lot

Hyungsik greeted him with a hug after he got down from his horse. They talk a lot about what's happening in their lives these past few days till they settle in the front yard. They sit laughing when one old man calls Jungkook asking him to help him feed his horses and farm animals in exchange for a small amount of silver, but Jungkook didn't hear him right away because he was still busy talking to the prince

The man gets angry and shouts calling him this time with another name.

"You bastard! Are you deaf?! Why are you not still here?! You lazy brat!" The old man shouted louder this time catching the attention of the prince

Prince Hyungsik stands up hearing the word with a few of the royal guards all over the place. Their father is inside the house with Jin

Jungkook saw how prince Hyungsik raises his eyebrows clenching his jaw like his father.. He walks fast to face the man calling his brother using that word

"Who gave you the right to call my brother like that?! My brother is not a bastard you embecile!" He shouts and grabs his shirt pulling him 

Jungkook runs fast to get a hold of the prince before he could punch him

"It's fine your highness... You don't have to be angry, they are used to calling me like that " Jungkook explains calming him but the prince got more angry about it

The Prince release the man and look at him grabs him on both shoulders

"What did you say?! They used to call you that and you allowed it?! Does our father know all of this and yet even he doesn't do anything about to change it?!! He allows them to disrespect you?! You're my brother Jungkook and they must obey and respect you as I!" 

He turn to the old man and face him again

"You heard me?! It is not his name! My brother's name is Jungkook! Try hard to remember it! You're old but still you have a lot to learn! If ever one of you call him on another name again I swear! I'll order to cut your tongue!"

He is so angry Jungkook has to hold him in place

The king heard the commotion and walks outside searching for his sons

"Get inside both of you!" he orders and the two young men follows their father

Hyungsik is still scoffing mumbling something. Jungkook holds him in the shoulder trying to calm him down

Namjoon stand inside the living room and face his sons

"Why are you shouting?" Namjoon stares at his older son waiting for an explanation

"Father, Jungkook has been called by that old man with another name. He called him a bastard!" he reason out

"But it's not enough reason for you to hurt the old man. He's older than you!"

"I don't care about his age! He doesn't know how to respect!"  He answers back

"What does he did to you to be this angry?!" The king asks again

"Nothing to me but he's calling my brother with that kind of words! And I forbid it! He shouldn't call him that! He has a name!"

"They know Jungkook is my son but you can't just tell them what to call him.. they know he's my son but not with the queen"  Namjoon feels embarrassed while telling it to his sons

"But father! You're the king! Why don't you order them to respect him like the respect I'm getting from them?! He is your son too! I wonder why he didn't live with us in the palace and be treated like a prince like I am"

Jungkook looks at them listening but this time he asks for permission to speak. He Feels little to see them talking about him

"Your highness... It is not necessary. I wouldn't want to live in the palace, I don't want to leave my Mom here alone"

"But you don't have to leave her here.. the palace has a lot of rooms. I'm sure we can give you a separated room.. you both can come with us! And stop calling me with in honorifics! I'm your brother.. call me hyung instead!

"Hyungsik. What you're saying is not that simple. You know your mother. She wouldn't allow it, you can't just get them here, it will be hard for the both of them"

"that I can't understand! He's my brother and yet I need to visit him just to be with him"

The prince looks down on his lap

"I don't like my cousins... They are mean. They always tease me and call me names whenever I score bad. I like Jungkook than them"  he confessed

His 2 cousins stays with them in the palace whenever they please and they bullied him most of the time

He hates them

"You can visit me anytime you want hyung.. I don't mind. I'll be here for you always"  Jungkook says with a sincere smile on his lips and Namjoon is more than happy to know what Jungkook feels about it

Another ordinary day in life of Jungkook

He got tired one day and decides to take rest on the woods. He lays under a big tree and enjoy its shed

He was thinking if his life will stay like this forever. Few more days and he will turn 20. He thought of the beautiful lady that always visits him whenever he feels bad and tired. She's like an angel that ready to heal his pain or take away his sadness whenever he feels it

He closes his eyes and enjoy the late afternoon breeze thinking of her. Maybe its time for him to know who she is. He wants to know her name

The blows of the wind becomes cold but for him it's just right.. the heat of the afternoon sun almost burns his white skin while he's feeding the horses

A soft melody has been heard not far in his place, he doesn't want to distract whoever that is singing so he stays silent with close eyes. Her voice is soothing he wants to fall asleep till a delicate hands caresses the side of his face. Taehyung flinches when Jungkook suddenly holds her. She thought he's sleeping

Jungkook didn't release her hand but instead he kiss the back of it still laying on the ground

Taehyung smiles with her eyes looking at the young man, she sit beside him and make his head lay on her lap. Jungkook is so happy seeing her

"I was just thinking about you and thought to ask you something and here you are.. is that the right way to summon you milady?" He starts looking straight to her almond eyes

"I came because I sense your presence, you're tired... I'm glad that you find this place, I made this for you. This tree. It belongs to you.. it will give you a shed, a place to rest and food if you're hungry" she raises her hand and the tree branches reach for her to give her it's fruit

Jungkook sit ups facing the sorcerer. She's wearing her usual clothes. A cloak with a hood, long sleeves and long ends that almost drags along the green lawn

Jungkook smile amazes of what he witnessed

"I knew it... You're the infamous sorcerer Kim Taehyung. Father always mentioning your name. He said I have to be ready and be prepared for your return but you take care of me like a mother till you leave, why did you stop visiting me?"

Taehyung smiles shyly.. she never meant to be with him through all these years. Even the king didn't saw her if he didn't need her. She lets him solve and finds a solution to every problem he's facing

"I got occupied.. I has a lot of work to do and didn't have time to visit you.. I know you'll be fine"

"But still.. I used to see you, to be with you even the shortest hour or until I've fallen asleep" Jungkook pouts adorably and Taehyung couldn't stop but to kiss him in the forehead

Jungkook widens his doe eyes feeling her lips on his skin. Even Taehyung is surprised on what she did

She pull back and retreats her hand on his hold holding it infront of her chest

"You kissed me"  Jungkook says watching her every move

"Yeah, it's your fault though.. don't make that face! You look adorable!"
Taehyung whines blaming him

She stands up hastily dusting her clothes and pushed Jungkook unintentionally

Jungkook bump his head on a ground makes Taehyung worried

"Ouch"  Jungkook blurted out. He didn't expect her to stand up that fast

"I'm sorry... I..."

She holds his head and runs a hand on that part.. the sting that he is feeling gone in an instant. Jungkook hold her hand again and put it on his chest.. his heart beats fast like someone is knocking on it

"When will I see you again?"

"Soon"

She slides her hand out of him and turn to leave. Jungkook watch her be gone in the woods and lay back again looking at the huge tree

"Tell me what is this I'm feeling? Can you tell me"  he smiles like an idiot till he decides to return home

The baby she witnessed to be born is now a young man and the sorcerer thinks he is ready to fulfill his destiny. She has to move fast, she needs to make sure he's ready. She can't wait any longer. They are just waiting for the right time to conquer their land and she has to do something before they start to move according to their plan

Namjoon is trusting too much. They are enjoying their stay on the land that they promised to protect but their motives are now showing

The sorcerer just needs to do one more thing before choosing him as the new king

Taehyung left Jimin this morning so she can have the whole place to search for as she decides to have an afternoon walk till she feels like Jungkook is thinking about her. 

She wants to see him too after months of not visiting him

Jimin is shuffling on her things when Taehyung leaves her.. She's searching for the sword. Taehyung needs it now. Her home is the perfect place to hide it so no one can think or can steal it from Taehyung but Jimin has been keeping it for almost 3 decades and now she can't remember where she kept it.

She just hopes she found it already for her to work on their plan. This land has to have a proper leader, a ruler
