Steven the rock was a very old fashioned man, he woke up every morning at 7 am, read the newspaper and got ready for work. This was his morning schedule, and he had done it every day for 2 billion years, but one day this changed. As he arrived for his job as a sedimentary rock on the beach (which by the way he had won employee of the millennium 3 times running) something seemed different than usual. He noticed his usual place had been taken by some newbie, he thought he would cut the guy some slack since it was his first day, so instead he took a place right by the water. He had only been there for a few hours when he noticed the tide was getting higher, he tried to move away, he had heard far too many stories about rocks being swept out to sea never to been seen again, but as he tried to struggle away he realised he had sunk into the wet sand, he tried to move again but it just sunk him deeper and deeper into the sand. He tried to stay calm, he tried to ensure himself everything would be ok, but he couldn't calm himself as the tide kept sweeping up the beach. As a wave completely washed over him, he felt himself being freed from the sand, and he tried to run up the beach, but he was too late, he had been swept out to sea. He struggled to stay afloat, but alas his weight dragged him to the bottom of the sea. He sunk to the ocean floor, and just about as he was going to give up he saw something out of the corner of his eye. It was Patricia, his long lost love from high school! He heard she had been washed out to sea years ago, supposedly beached by a rock jealous of her beauty, and her jawline that looked like it had been carved by the greek gods. Patricia said "Steven?! Is that you?! I haven't seen you in so long, not since.... Not since your wife pushed me into the ocean..."

Steven couldn't believe his stubs, his wife had murdered Patricia! "I've missed you so much! I've never stopped loving you! Come live with me at the bottom of the sea, live isn't so bad here, we've built a whole colony here, there's everything on the surface and more!"

Steven decided to stay with Patricia at the sea floor and they lived happily ever after...
