Psychic Abilities

Most documented psychic abilities come in the form of telepathy and more rarely telekinesis. Ranked in secret by a Commonwealth military psi unit, abilities range from Level 1 Standard which is normal, instinctual behavior to Level 10 Adept.

It is believed that genetic manipulation and alien influences have been most responsible for the rise in psi levels among human beings.

There have been several categories of psi abilities noted. Below is a list of several of them.

Apportation

Materialization, disappearance or teleportation of a person or an object.

Bilocation

Being in multiple places at the same time. This can be in a substantive way or via remote viewing.

Clairvoyance

Perception outside the known human senses. This can manifest itself in many ways.

Dowsing

Ability to locate objects, sometimes using a tool called a dowsing rod.

Energy Healing

Healing by channeling a form of energy. Can take the form of psychic surgery.

Psychometry

Obtaining information about a person or object, usually by touching or concentrating on the object or a related object.

Pyrokinesis

Manipulation of fire.

Remote Viewing

Gathering of information at a distance.

Retrocogition

Perception of past events.

Telekinesis

Ability to manipulate objects by the power of thought.

Telepathy

Transfer of thoughts, words or emotions in either direction.
