Something feels different between the two adult webslingers. Peter fiddles with the ring in his pocket and knows that he has to propose to his girlfriend. Gwen and Peter walk through the park together. Something is distracting Peter and his girlfriend can see it. The young adult plans on proposing to his superhero girlfriend and is nervous about it. "Gwendolyn Maxine Stacy. You are my best friend and lover. We go through the darkest of times together and always emerge as better people. Will you marry me?" Peter asks

"Peter Benjamin Parker. You are my cornerstone and my only love. We are a team and we bring out the best in each other. Your are my only Spider-Man. Yes, I will marry you." Gwen answers

The teenage webslinger can't contain her joy, and her face turns beet red. Peter gently slides the engagement ring onto her finger, and they share a sweet kiss under the shade of a tree. Gwen gazes at the ring on her finger, a smile spreading across her face. Finally, Gwen and Peter are ready to embark on the next chapter of their lives together. They excitedly share the news with Aunt May, who is overjoyed for them. However, Gwen can't help but feel a tinge of sadness, knowing that her father won't be there to witness their happiness.

But she knows that he would have been proud of her and the life she has built with Peter. They spend the rest of the day basking in their newfound engagement bliss, holding hands and talking about their future together.
