Im so sorry

An: Super short but super sad. Have fun and don't forget a box of tissues :)

You along with the rest of the team stood in front of the unsub. Everyone had their gun trained on him. You wanted to get him alive so no one was wanting to shoot him. You had decided that you would step forward and try and talk him down. You knew it wasn't the smartest decision, especially since he had a gun. You just thought that you would be able to get him to surrender.

You walked forward, listening to Spencer protest. You ignored him for now. You put your gun away and lifted your hands in surrender.

"I put my gun away. It's your turn." You said.

"No. I don't trust you." The unsub yelled.

"What do I have to do to make you trust me?" You asked.

"Take your vest off." He demanded.

"Y/n. Please don't do that." Spencer begged.

You didn't listen to your boyfriend, taking off your vest.

"There, now do you trust me?" You asked.

"Yeah." He said.

"Good. Now I need you to put your gun down. I just want to talk." You said.

He went to put his gun down. Or so you thought. As he was sitting it down he pointed it up, pulling the trigger. You felt a pain in your lower stomach and you heard Spencer's voice yell out your name. You fell to the ground, your hand covering where you got shot. You heard some yelling before a few gunshots rang out.

Your vision was blurry but you could see Spencer kneel next to you. His hand pressed against the wound.

"Come on. Hang on for me please." Spencer sobbed.

"Spence." You whimpered.

"Shhh. It's going to be ok." He said.

You used all the strength you had left and took off the bracelet you were always wearing. It was a bracelet you had matching with one of your best friends. They had died a few years ago in a car crash. Ever since then you haven't gone anywhere without your bracelet. You laid it in Spencer's free hand.

"I want you to have that. Please take care of yourself." You choked out.

Spencer shook his head, trying to give you the bracelet back.

"You're going to make it out of this." He said.

"Spencer." You said.

He looked at you to see you giving him a look. You both knew you wouldn't make it. You were losing too much blood. The bullet probably hit some main arteries. Spencer was crying. You could see as the tears fell from his eyes, trailing down his face until they fell onto your face. You reached up the best you could and wiped away his tears.

"I love you." You whispered.

"I love you." He whispered back.

You felt your eyes starting to close.

"No, no. Y/n please open your eyes. The medics are almost here. Just stay awake for me, please." Spencer pleaded.

You let your eyes open a little. You pulled his face down to yours, letting his lips meet yours. You barely had the energy to kiss him. As soon as he pulled away you let yourself go. Your hand slips from his face, your eyes closing.

Third Person POV:

Spencer felt his heart break as he watched your eyes close. Sobs wracked through his body as you took your last breath. He held you close to him, brushing the hair from your face. He just wants to go back to the night before. When you both were cuddled up to each other, sleeping soundly. Now he was holding your dead body in his arms.

The team watched with tears in their eyes as Spencer held you. Spencer had finally found someone who made him truly happy and they were ripped away from him. They all loved you, you were a part of their family.

The team heard the medics pull in and they walked towards them. They decided to give Spencer a moment with you before they had to rip him away from him.

"I'm so sorry Y/n. I'm so sorry." Spencer sobbed into your hair.

He wished he could have saved you. How was he supposed to live with himself knowing he couldn't even protect the most important person to him?

The team along with the medics came over to Spencer. They tried to get him away from your body but he refused to let go. He couldn't just leave you. Spencer kissed your lips one last time.

"I will always love you, whether you're here or not." Spencer whispered.

Morgan eventually pulled Spencer away and led him to one of the SUVs. Spencer sat in the back of the car, silently crying as he fiddled with your bracelet. He felt like he was having a bad dream. He just wished he could wake up and it would all be a lie. That you would be sleeping soundly next to him and he could kiss you.

He knew he could never love someone as much as he did you. He knew that even if he tried moving on you would forever hold his heart and he wouldn't be able to ever forget the love he has for you. He doesn't even know how he's going to keep going. Maybe he won't keep going. He doesn't know, he's just going to take this one day at a time and hope for the best.
