The redhead blew his hair out of his eyes. "Jeez." Chuuya scoffed.
"Chibi, are you done making dinner yet?" Dazai whined from the couch, peeking his head over.
"No. And it would be much easier if you had helped me." The redhead clenched his fists and frowned. "So can you?"
"What do you mean, chibi? You're the housewife." The brunette smiled.
Chuuya blew his hair out of his eyes once again. He opened the kitchen drawer and grabbed a rubber band he would normally use to hold Dazai's bentos. The redhead hastily tied up his hair into a high ponytail and continued to cook.
Dazai tipped his head to the side to get a better look at his redheaded lover. "Chibi."
Chuuya turned around while holding a spoon in his hand. "Yeah, Dazai?"
"You look cute." The brunette smirked, knowing that would make the redhead blush.
"Shut up, mackerel." Chuuya spat. He scowled and turned back to the stove. The redhead didn't want to burn down the kitchen, like a certain idiot did.
Dazai slowly crept behind Chuuya, wrapping his slender arms around the petite redhead. "Oi, Dazai, what are you doing?"
"Hugging you." The brunette nuzzled his head into his hair.
"You always do this when I'm cooking. It gets annoying, you know." Chuuya said, stirring the soup.
"Mmhmm." Dazai mumbled quietly.
The redhead finished making the soup quickly and poured it gently in the bowl. Dazai twirled his finger around Chuuya's ponytail. "Bastard, stop playing with my hair." Chuuya muttered.
"But your hair is so soft. It's like a cat."
"Why not a dog?"
"You know I hate dogs, chibi."
"Yeah." Chuuya smiled gently.
The brunette stroked Chuuya's hair, resting his chin on Chuuya's head. "Dazai. Get your head off my head." The redhead snarked.
Dazai pulled his head off of Chuuya's and kissed him on the head gently. "You should wear a ponytail more often. You're really cute with it."
The redhead flushed and looked away. "S-shut up, mackerel."
Chuuya kept the ponytail up for the rest of the night.
