Your life is dark
And gloomy
Because your heart
Is empty

You could not find
Any joy in life
You could not find
Any hope but lies

Circling all around you
Keeping you from seeing
The much needed Word of Truth
To give your life meaning

Do not heed any of the lies
Just open up your eyes
Allow yourself to see and know
The Lord who loves you so

He'll fill your empty heart
With His wonderful love
Setting you free from bondage
Into His Mercy and Grace
