Jin's POV

Jin: How long has it been...? Why do I feel so... lost...? No, this place is taking my memories, I can't let it. But who was that kid...?

I felt myself suddenly falling and hit the "ground" with a hard thud. I looked up to see some familiar people who I think I knew.

Slade: Welcome back, kid.

Jin: Kid? Do I know you guys from somewhere?

The western Rider looked at the others then back at me. Without a moment to spare they grabbed me and rushed me to a portal which another Rider was holding open. They threw me through the portal and I woke up in a casket. I felt very strange as my memories began flooding back to me then the sensation that I was in two places at once... or at least part of me was. I was wearing my leather jacket from what I could feel and dust was in the air.

I finally tested my abilities and I could still conjure portals. A portal opened right below me and I fell through it onto some soft grass. My ears were met with some soft music that was playing in the distance and I sat up to look only to realize I was at the Gremory estate. I turned around to see the large tombstone that read: "Sleep Peacefully, Jin Carter- Beloved Father, Uncle, Friend and Hero"

Jin: Damn... I really did die... BUT I LIVED!

Author POV

Jin stood up to face where the music was coming from and a large gathering was taking place. He spotted Rias in a beautiful wedding dress on the other side of the garden which was large. Jin watched until he heard a voice behind him.

Slade: Sorry, Hoss. We know how you told us not to, but-

Jin cut off Slade.

Jin: Thank you Slade.

Slade nodded and tapped Jin on the shoulder.

Slade: Y'know that boy of yours... He's lost without you... but otherwise he's been takin' one day at a time.

Jin nodded then hopped onto his own tombstone.

Jin: Who knew a piece of rock could hold so much meaning...

Slade: I'll let you settle before we go see him.

Jin: Keep an eye on him please... and if he gets into any trouble, handle it and let me know, I'll be there soon.

Slade nodded.

Slade: We'll be waiting at your shop.

Slade left through a portal and Jin looked over to Rias who hadn't noticed him. He smiled and discreetly portaled to the ceremony, hiding in the back just as the ceremony was ending.

Everyone stood and cheered and Jin did the same but as they turned to the people who came to the ceremony Rias' eyes met Jin who was clapping happily. She smiled at him shedding tears of joy as she'd thought he was a simple illusion and stared at him while she and Issei walked down the aisle. She smiled as they passed him and Issei looked over.

Issei: Wow, Isn't that your uncle? I thought he was dead...

Rias: Wait, you can see him?

Issei: Well, yeah...

Rias: EH?!

Jin saw her reaction and gave a simple wave before walking through another portal. He found himself in his shop where he found Slade, Jones, Reyes, and Ketch waiting for him in their human forms.

Jin: It's good to see you guys.

Jones: L- Likewise, Jin.

Reyes: Real smooth...

Jones reactively punched Reyes in the arm.

Suddenly the shop door opened to reveal Dabi who was ready to fight off any intruders but froze when he saw Jin.

Dabi: D-Dad... I-is- is it really-

Dabi barely squeezed out the words when Jin hugged him.

Jin: It's me, son.

Slade had a troubled look on his face and changed into his Rider form.

Slade: We should get going. I have a feeling, Zuke might be in trouble.

Jones, Slade, and Reyes went ahead while Ketch stayed behind.

Ketch: Take a bit of time here, then let me know when you're ready.

Jin nodded and Ketch sat on his bike.

Dabi: But... we buried you.

Jin: I know, it was a nice spot too. Where's Eri?

Dabi: Sleeping upstairs, what's going on with Zuke?

Jin sighed.

Jin: I'm about to find out. I'm gonna get your brother and when I come back, we'll talk more.

Dabi nodded and watched as Jin walked over to Ketch.

Jin: I transferred my rider to Zuke.

Ketch: So?

Jin: I don't think I can transform.

Ketch: Nonsense, you should've known by now that even if the Rider's left the body, the curse will just conjure a new one when the fire's reignited. Here, catch this.

Ketch tossed a chain to Jin and a familiar flame engulfed his body.

Ketch: I thought it was obvious when you figured out that you could still portal around. I call it a rider's Personal Lineage Of Time or PLOT for short. Now, you ready to ride, old timer?

Ketch raced through another portal leaving Jin behind.

Jin: *chuckles* Cheeky little bastard...

Jin walked outside of the shop to whistle for his bike. He patted the gas tank and the motorcycle revved it's engine in response. He sat on the bike but then looked at Dabi with a confused expression showing in his body language.

Jin: Uh... Where's Zuke again?

Dabi: *Sigh* At UA's hidden the summer training camp.

Jin nodded and popped a wheelie as he raced towards the camp. As he raced at breakneck speeds, turning corners faster than humanly possible. Jin popped another wheelie only this time, the motorcycle defied all laws of physics as it began soaring through the air.

Jin landed the bike as it entered the forest, following the trail burned into the dirt the army of riders left.

Izuku POV

The Rider told me someone wanted to see me? I watched as a familiar bike halted just outside of the treeline and for who was riding it...

Izuku: Dad?

Author POV

The students who were in the area gazed upon the return of The Rider.

Jin reverted back into his bone skin form and kicked out the bike's kickstand before rushing over to Izuku. Both father and son finally embraced in a hug, thought to have been lost.

Jin: It's good to see you, son.

Izuku couldn't make out any words as he was sobbing in his father's arms.

Jin leaned over so he could get a better look at Izuku after wiping his son's tears.

Jin: I'd like for you to meet some old friends of mine.

Jin pointed to Slade.

Jin: The old man's name is Carter Slade. He was the one whose name I adopted after I settled down from soul reaping.

Slade tipped his hat to Izuku and Jin pointed to Jones.

Jin: That nice lady is Alejandra Jones. She's kind as long as you stay on her good side.

Jones waved at Izuku, but if she were in her human form, she'd be blushing at Jin's remark. Jin pointed at Reyes.

Jin: That kid's name is Robbie Reyes. He's a racer and knows his way around any vehicle he can get his hands on.

Reyes was carrying over Pixie-bob who curled up comfortably in his arms. Jin finally pointed at Ketch who was still dragging villains around as he was cackling like a maniac.

Jin: And that one's Daniel Ketch. He actually became a Rider similar to you. Now those are the big four who usually manage things Rider related. And they're the ones who brought me back to you..

Izuku turned to them and bowed.

Izuku: Thank you very much!

One by one, the students of class 1-A and 1-B were being escorted back to the campsite.

Izuku: Wait! Where's Kota?!

Jin ran over to his bike and rode over to Izuku.

Jin: Hop on, we'll find him!

Izuku nodded and mounted the bike.

Jin: Y'know, I've only been gone for like two weeks! I come back and all hell breaks loose? Yare yare daze...

Izuku: Well that's what dying does to people, old man!

Jin: Ol- OLD MAN?! *sniff* But I'm still young at heart...

Jin followed the presence of Kota's soul to the same plateau that Izuku found him earlier.

Izuku: Good! You're okay!

Suddenly a large muscular man dropped down from one of the cliffs above and Kota's eyes showed immediate fear which Jin noticed.

Jin lassoed the muscular man with a chain and looked at Izuku with a smile.

Jin: You can leave this bad man to me. I'll make sure he's punished severely.

Jin yanked the man through a portal back into a room with checkerboard floor tiles.

Stain: 958-AHHHHH... 951-AHHHHAH... 945-

Jason: Oops, wrong answer. I guess we'll have to start all over again!

Jin approached, dragging muscular behind him.

Jin: Oh, Jason! I've got another one for you!

Jason stood up and nodded before summoning another chair.

Muscular looked at Stain and noticed he was attached to an Iv and the bucket that sat before him was nearly filled with toes which grew back at crazy speeds.

Jin sat Muscular down in the chair before walking back to the portal.

Jason: Now... where were we? Oh yeah! What's 1000 minus 7?

Jin shuddered as he returned to the plateau where Izuku and Kota were waiting for him.

Jin: You don't have to worry about him anymore.

Kota: You're that Rider hero...

Jin: And you're adorable!! *ahem* Sorry...

Izuku: Let's hurry back to the others.

Jin: Yeah, I'll meet you there, for now take my bike.

Izuku hesitated then nodded.

???: 'So you've returned.'

Jin: Yeah, a lot sooner than I thought I would. I honestly wasn't expecting the others to care that much...

Jin felt something disturb him and in an instinctive reaction, rushed through a portal where Ragdoll was being kidnapped by a purple mist and jumped in after her.

Jin snatched Ragdoll from her captors and realized he was inside of a warehouse surrounded by villains. Before any of them could charge him, Jin tossed Ragdoll through a portal of his own and readied himself for a fight.

Jin: Now then...

Jin transformed into The Rider.

The Rider: Anyone who doesn't wish to die, leave now.

The Rider roared at the villains, instilling fear directly into their souls as some ran for their lives.

The Rider: Let's dance.

Jin took his chain and swung it around, turning each villain into a pile of ash. He looked around and his eyes met a man wearing a black mask and a suit.

The Rider: You... YOUR DAYS OF TORMENTING THE INNOCENT ARE OVER SHIGARAKI!!

All For One: And who's going to stop me?

The ground around The Rider liquified and hardened as it locked his legs from moving and his arms were restrained by cement. The Rider reverted into Jin's bone skinned form.

All for one walked over smugly and placed his hand on Jin's head.

All For One: Now Rider... Your quirk IS NOW MINE HAHAHA!! Huh?

All For One looked at his hand and placed it back onto Jin's head.

All For One: Impossible!

Jin began chuckling which turned to cackling.

Jin: That's just too good! See... That's the difference between me and the others... I'm quirkless!

Jin destroyed the cement holding him and grabbed All For One by the throat. Jin stepped out of the cement binding him to the floor and looked at his boots which were damaged.

Jin: Those were my nice boots... And you're gonna pay for them...

Jin transformed back into The Rider.

All For One: If you're quirkless, I- I can give you quirks! All the ones you desire, just unhand me!

The Rider binded All For One's hands with his chain before knocking him out and dragged him through a portal back to the campsite.

Izuku: Oh, there... he... is? Dad, who's that?

Jin: Oh, just All For One...

Everyone: WAIT WHAT?!

Jin: Yeah... I see the other rider's have already left.

Izuku: Yeah, they said "Tell your old man that next time he wants to pull another stunt like that, at least give fair warning." Also, Jones said to give her a call or something like that.

Jin: Noted... Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be right back.

Jin dragged All For One through another portal where he dropped him at Tartarus prison and the guards were stunned at All For One's capture including The Rider's return. Jin was also surprised to see them already dealing with a few villains that were left behind by other riders.

Jin: He's all yours.

He returned to the campsite and rode over to Izuku.

Jin: What happened to all of the villains?

Izuku: The Rider's took most of them but left a few as a "Sign of good faith" That's what Slade said.

Jin nodded then looked over to Aizawa who was talking to the rest of class 1-A about any possible injuries.

Jin: Hey Aizawa!

Shouta: Huh? Wait, you're supposed to be dead...

Jin: Wow... rude. But anyway, camp's canceled, right?

Shouta: Uh, yes-

Jin: Say less. Zuke, hop on, we're going home.
