Confessions of a teenage Roy

     "I'm being summoned to hell."

"Thanks Roy, you ruined the beginning of the chapter for us," Pat stated. "Good job."

      "That's not the point."

"What is it then?" Palutena sat up on the couch and looked down at Roy who sat on the floor.

     "M-M....Mar...—"

"Roy, just spill the tea already. I have a story to finish and then I'm off to write."

"Okay, okay," Roy straightened his posture. "Marth is embarrassing me in front of Daisy."

     "AAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAAA, WAIT, WAIT, really?"

      "He babies me... literally."

"I mean, in a joking, kind of way... or something like that. Maybe he's just entertaining himself or something."

      "But, it's always around Daisy."

"Why does it matter around Daisy? She's a good frien— WAIT!" Palutena looked at Roy with wild eyes. "YOU LIKE HER?!"

"Yes! And I already told you that!"

"You know I'm not listening if I'm writing a new chapter, Roy. And just talk to Marth about it if it bothers you that much."

Suddenly they heard stomping coming down stairs. Marth stormed through the living room, shoving Roy and Palutena out of the way.

"I'm making breakfast, move, I'm mad."  Marth stomped into the kitchen and got some pancake mix.

Palutena and Roy looked at each other, Palutena with a look of sorrow, and Roy with an annoyed look.

     "IKE! IKE! IIIIKKEEE!!!"

     "WHAT?!"

"I NEED YOU'RE HELP!" Peach screamed. Ike stormed into her room.

    "What?!"

     "I need you're help."

"Well obviously, dipshit, what do you need?!"

"I need you're sword." Peach said flatly. Ike looked at her with a 'seriously?!' look. "Using a sword is the only way I know how to get stuff off of the roof!"

"Oh my god... Why can't you get someone else?"

"Marth is making breakfast, Link and Zelda went to Barnes And Noble, Roy and Robin are busy with the dog, and Lucina and Palutena went out for the day."

Ike looked out of Peach's window and looked up at the roof. "How do you guys get stuff on the roof?" Peach shrugged. Ike put his sword in his left hand and started waving it upward.

      "You know what's funny?"

     "What?"

"Link and Zelda got together before Sam and I."

"I wonder how they did it. I'm surprised Link was able to actually make that happen without his anxiety getting in the way."

"His anxiety has been a problem for him forever, he just decided to man up ."

"Yeah, anyway, do you and Samus still talk?" Peach asked as she sat on a chair next to the window Ike was standing on.

"Well... yeah, kind of. Not like we used to, though. It's been awkward ever since that lovely gesture thing."

"Weird, I thought that would be what would make Samike official. Why did she say no?"

"I dunno, Peach. She's just, I don't know. Maybe she doesn't need that right now. Besides, that kind of came out of nowhere, what I did." Ike stopped for a few seconds, before he shook his head slightly and kept on waving the sword at whatever object was on the roof this time.

"You know, its alright to feel sad... about it.."

"I'm not sad." Ike finally waved the sword one more time, and the object that was on the roof fell into his hands.

Ike looked at the thing in his hands. "How did you get your makeup stuff on the roof?!"

"I mean, it feels weird. Now known as an actual Smash character."

     "It feels good, though, right?"

"Honestly," Daisy turned to look at Roy. "Its a little underwhelming. I'm kind of bored, here."

"Bored? But you hang out with us and you have fun, right?"

"Well, yeah. But that's the usual. I don't know how to explain it," Daisy rested her head in her hands. "Its not that exciting."

"Well... It's exciting with me... right?"

Daisy looked at Roy, who already looked back at her. Daisy saw Roy lean forward slightly. Daisy sat up and did the same.

"I am melting right now in this dog-shit of a house."

Roy and Daisy turned to Marth who cursed under his breath as he made breakfast. Roy was about to say something before he was pulled away by something tugging on his shirt collar.

"Roy!!" Palutena hissed at him. She pulled him to the living room.

     "What?!"

"You don't kiss—or you don't try to kiss someone in a place like that!" Palutena pointed to the table him and Daisy sat at with Marth nearby and completely capable of watching them.

"I can't help it! I really like her!"

"Look, I know how it feels to want a girl really badly-"

     "Huh?"

"Uh- never mind. But you should try to make it special, you know? Like, you and her are walking home from a long night in the town, and as you walk home, she stops under a streetlight, and she holds her hand out for you to dance with her, and you do, and you forget all about the guy she loves..."

      "Uuh, Pat?"

"Huh? Oh, sorry, sorry. But make it good!"

Roy nodded and awkwardly walked back to the table.

~~

"Yeah, and she went all into detail about dancing under a streetlight in the middle of the night."

"Huh," Daisy thought. "What even made you and Palutena go into the topic?"

     "Nothing really!" Roy panicked.

The two stood on the rooftop looking out at the sky.

"I should get Pit! He would love to—"

     "No!"

Daisy was taken back by the sudden shout.

"I mean, he'd usually be, Uh, training at this time. Wouldn't wanna interrupt that."

"Uh, okay. I'm gonna get my jacket." Daisy walked to the door that went down to the attic. A minute passed before she walked back up.

It stayed silent for a few minutes before Daisy asked, "So, uh, what did you do today?"

"Nothing really. But Marth ate soap."

    "What?!"

"Ike put in soap instead of whatever Marth was eating, and as of right now Marth is puking in the toilet while watching some soap opera on TV."

     "Living the life."

     "Yep."

"Hey," Daisy walked to the other side of the roof and pointed out to the sky. "Look at all the mountains, I didn't realize that we had the view of that."

Roy walked across the roof. But the third step he took, his foot slipped down into the attic thanks to the open trap door.

"Oh my god! Are you okay?!"

     There was silence.

"Why are there three of you?"

     "Okay, I'm calling Ike."

~~

"So, you're mission to get Roy and Daisy together failed." Zelda stated.

"Yep, but can you blame me? How am I supposed to work with a red head with a toilet-paper roll as a brain?"

"Yes, but just remember, you're the goddess of light, not the goddess of love. Not all relationships are meant to be."

Palutena's facial expression changed as she bit down on her lip. "Yeah. Not everyone gets the love they want."
