My leg is nearly completely healed, and I'll be returning to Solitude tomorrow. I wrote ahead to Belrand to meet me at Dragon Bridge, so we could investigate that contract Falk gave me, the one about the strange lights.

I'm not looking forward to leaving Lucia and Brelyna. We actually talked about the prospect of having them stay in Solitude while I'm there. Lucia thought it was a great idea, but Brelyna understood the dangers. We're going to wait for now, see just how long I might be stuck there. In an ideal world, I would be able to return home every night, but I'm not so sure that'll be possible any time soon.
