"Hedith..."

A voice whispers but Hedith couldn't open her eyes just yet. She feel so tired that she can't gather enough energy to move even a muscle on her body.

"Wake up, Hedith..."

There it is again. The voice is familiar but who gives a damn? She needs sleep or she'll die of exhaustion. If she isn't deas already though.

"Hedith! Wake uo, will you? This isn't a time for beauty rest when Audrey can easily kill us both!"

At that moment, Hedith sat up in dull speed and her eyes went wide in shock. Celia is kneelimg beside her with an expression of worry. She always have those kinds expression whenever she's in her presence. Normally, that would make Hedith feel so good with dominance, but in this particular situation, she can't bring herself to think of such thing. Not when the villain of the story is right in front of them.

She had seen her in Auradon News that's also broadcasted in the Isle but seriously, Hedith just have to criticize that hair of hers.

"I understand that you're the daughter of the Sleeping Beauty but dearest, fuschia doesn't go with your eyes," she said, throwing her spice of sass to Audrey's way which she didn't accepted.

"You have no say for that!" She yelled which amuses Hedith.

"And they aay I have anger management issues."

"Hedith, don't make the situation any worse than it already is!" Celia scolded, gathering her courage to look her companion in the eyes. Her pitch black eyes. Hedith would give her kudos for that bravery.

"Ha! Have you realized how much I want to punch this she-dog in the face since she brought trouble?" Hedith stood up and glared at Audrey who is also scowling at her, "Since her incredibly, sickening pink room."

"You're just as annoying as that fake queen!" Audrey said and pointed Maleficent's scepter at her, "You think taunting would scare me?"

"Oh? It does not? Maybe if I stick that huge rod into your a—"

"Be child-friendly, Hedith."

"Whatever," Hedith said, annoyed that Celia cut her ofd, "Besides, that scepter probably showed you what ny connection with its real mistress. I could counter it anytime."

"Don't be cheeky, kid. You don't even have magic without your father's ember. How much more now that you don't know even just one spell?" Audrey said, laughing and the scepter was aimed at Hedith. She scowled and balled her fists. For a moment, the daughter of Hades was silenced. Taking notice of it, Celia grabbed her shoulder, catching the blue haired girl's attention.

"Let's wait for the others to come and rescue us."

"You still think they will?" Hedith lets out an animalistic growl. Celia was a bit taken aback however she stood her ground this time.

"They will."

The daughter of Hades had a stare off with the daughter of Dr Facilier like nothing they had ever done. All of it. Everything that happened between them since they dirst met as children came back. The reason why Celia was so withdrawn whenever she's with Hedith. The reason why Hedith disliked Celia so much.

The day of Celia's seventh birthday.

Hades and Dr Facilier are the closest to being each other's acquaintances in the Isle so it was normal to have a little playdate between their kids. Occassional playdates are always postponed becauae of Hedith's haywired mischieviousness so Celia haven't really met Hedith yet before that day.

Hedith was forced by her father to come over a little blackmail so she was obliged to do so. Grumpy and unhappy, Hedith came to Dr Facilier's Voodoo Arcade and saw Celia hugging and dancing with her dad. It was fun as long as there is food. There was no need to interact with the silly girl, really. She had enough interactions already. The baby Smee twins, Dizzy Tremaine, the son of Cruella DeVil. She have to admit, he is quite cute really, but who cares about socialization? They will all be the victims of her pranks.

Until one finally came to the party. Maleficent and her daughter, Mal.

She watched as her mother and sister walk over to Celia. Mal greeted Celia as kind as she can but was only scolded by the Mistress of Evil. Celia and Mal got along just fine. In fact, they were more like sisters. As evil little kids could be sisters.

Extreme anger risen up Hedith as she grab two glasses of seaweed juice, making her way to the group. Time for socialization. When daddy out of the house, little pomegrate is on the loose.

As they were having a good time, Hedith climbed the table behind them and showered them with stinky, sticky seaweed juice.

Hedith cannot forget the shocked eyes aimed at her. She cannot forget the look of utter distaste her mothee had given hee. She cannot forget the mixed of confusion and anger on Mal's face and most of all she cannot forget the fear on Celia's eyes as she stare bavk at her pitch black ones.

As for Celia, she cannot forget how those pair of black irises sent fear clinging into her spine paired with a devilish smile on her face as if it's the easiest thing to do. She dared to pull a prank on the Mistress of Evil and hed daughter without feeling fear at all. At that moment, Celia couldn't understand why. And that was scarier than anything.

"Oh they surely will. And at that moment, I will destroy Mal!" Audrey declared and Hedith sent a glare at her direction.

"Ha! You wish!" Hedith let out a smirk and Audrey's eyes widened in shock. She swore Hedith's eyes were black and not green.

"Oh my gosh."

"Purple and green with shades of gold. Bring my mother's scepter for me to hold!"

Audrey felt the scepter slipping her fingers so she used both of her hands to keep a firm grasp around it. Hedith was mocking her with a smile on her face. She had used her father's powers but never did she used her mother's. As much as she resent using it, it does feel so good to use her magic. Something she will claim as her own if things go her way.

"Stop it, you little prick! This is my scepter now!" Audrey yanked the scepter with full force and sent an offensive spell to Hedith's way. This caused for her focus to be broken and fall backwards because of the invisible force.

"Hedith!"

"Stand back, Celia!"

"Mal's here!"

"What?"

Hedith looked at the bottom od the tower and saw Mal morphing into a dragon.

"When will I ever turn into something cool? Like a three headed dog?" Hedith askes, smiling as Mal fly up to fight Audrey. She tried attacking her with her own magic, her own flamea but Maleficent's scepter was still too strong.

"She needs help!" Celia said, looking over the edge with Hedith.

"Like how? As you have seen, I'm not good with my mom's magic, too," Hedith snapped under pressure. Damn, she shouldn't have. She's a goddess for goodness sake. Gods doesn't feel pressure.

"The stone, silly! Help her reawaken the stone!" Celia pointed at Mal and saw the dull ember on her claws, "There's Uma!"

Headith looked down and saw Uma and Harry watching the fight, too. Harry told Uma something before she clutch her necklace and stared at the ember.

"Regain your might and ignite!" Hedith heard Uma yelled but the ember still stayed dull. There was a pause before Celia grabbed Hedith's forearm.

"They need you," Hedith stared at her in confusion before a smirk settles on her lips. Her eyes turned green and her hair ignited but unlike before, it has a tinge of purple.

"UMA!"

The octopus girl snapped her eyes to Hedith and her face showed signs of concern and panic.

"LET'S SAY IT TOGETHER!"

Uma smiled and nodded, a weight lifted on her chest knowing that Hedith is still calm despite the circumstances. On the contrary, Hedith have not felt even more exhilarates in her entire life. Her heart is racing like it's making the most of its cycle because it might be the last minutes it will be active.

"Focus on the ember," she whispers to herself and stared at the ember and with loud voices, Uma and Hedith said the spell.

"Regain your might and ignite!"

Its once blue light returned and Hedith smiled at its revival. She cheered in joy when she felt the magic within the ember return. She smiled at Mal who also stared at her.

Audrey growled, sending a spell to a person who had ruined her plan.
