They leave today and I get my man to myself from hereeeee. I'm gonna miss them of course, but I could see them anytime when I'm at home. Never know when he's gonna be home.

Their flight leaves later in the day and we made sure they had everything last night.

Ma- "yea, go take that stuff out" I still had my wig on. I went in the room I was in and in the bathroom to start taking it off and the braids down. Jah came in there and was leaning on the sink counter.

"can you go to the beauty supply store for me"

"nigga." he said straight facing me.

"pleaseeeee" I begged, pouting.

"my shampoo and conditioner then a wide tooth comb"

"igh" I started smiling and was finna kiss him but he backed up.

"you look like a dude right now" my. mouth. dropped.

"get out my face jashawn." and he left! He gon be single when he get back.

I finished taking my braids out and went downstairs.

"jah goin to get the stuff" I told her as they were sitting in the kitchen.

Ma- "ok"

TT- "so we gotta wait till you come back home fa you and jah to admit y'all like eacb other?"

"ion like dat lil boy"

Ma- "liiiiieess"

"not, he get on my nerves. can't stand em"

TT- "could stand em to fuck em tho?"

"yes ma'am"

Ma- "aw lawd" I laughed. We were talking until he came back. I snatched the bag from him and he popped me. I walked over to the sink and mumbled something and I guess her heard me but ain't do nun.

"can you go get me a towel" I asked him

Jah- "no" I rolled my eyes and went to get me one. On my way back to the kitchen he was standing in the hallway, in my way.

"keep playin wit me."

"ian playin" and I walked passed him. My momma had the water running already.

She's washed and blow dried my hair. Now she's putting two plates in my head.

"you gon be ok down here baby?"

"yea, raya stayin down here wit me"

"ok, just askin because he does have work to do and it may be days where he's not here"

"yea i know. went 4 years without em, i can do a few days" she laughed.

"naw you can't. y'all back in each other's lives, it's gon be just how it was before"

"maybe, but i'll keep myself sane"

When she finished the braids she put oil in my head.

"alright girly" I was sitting on the floor in between her legs. I turned my body and laid my head on her leg.

"you ok?" she asked

"yea, think ima bout to start that horrible cycle"

"you poor thing, you been crampin?"

"not as bad but yea"

"need to go get some pads"

"yea i'll get them tomorrow cause i'm supposed to start then"

"ok" she started rubbing my hair up into the braid and I closed my eyes.

TT- "treat this girl like she still 5"

Ma- "this my baby"

Jah- "big baby" I stuck my middle finger up and opened my eyes.

Li- "i wanna be your baby too" and she got on the couch.

Ma- "you are" and she kissed her forehead.

C- "uhhhh i would like to be babied too" he said looking at TT and she gave him a stank face and I laughed. She opened her arms and he went to hug her and she kissed his head.

TT- "you too?" she asked looking at Jah and he grinned.

Ma- "see you ain't no betta"

TT- "i guess"

Ma- "my baby is finna be on her period jah"

Jah- "oh my gosh. y'all can't leave yet. stay. please!" we laughed.

"i've gotten better over the years" he shook his head.

We just dropped them off at the airport and we're heading back to his house.

"you wanna go get the pads and stuff now?"

"if you feel like it, if not i'll go tomorrow"

"we can go right now" we drove to the store and he went in for me.

When he came back out he had everything and I was smiling. We listened to music the rest of the way home.

Once we got in the house I took my clothes off down to my underwear and got in his bed.

"you sleepy?"

"yes now come lay down with me" he took his clothes off then put some basketball shorts on.

He was on his back so I turned some so I was laying kinda on him. My leg was on him and my arm wrapped around him. He started rubbing my back.

"i got chu to myself for a month" he said.

"umhm. do you work randomly or you got a schedule?"

"kinda both but mainly it's scheduled"

"can i know when you have to"

"yea" I sat up and then got on top of him.

"thought you was sleepy?"

"i am but i wanna lay on top of you" and I laid down then he wrapped his arms around me. I kissed his neck.
