▪ Third person pov

      The thirteen year old stared at her scrapped knee, pouting.

It was raining heavily outside, and the forgetful girl had left her umbrella at home. She couldn't possibly walk under the rain, as she would be scolded nonstop and locked in her room until she had enough time to reflect on the mistake she had made. Although she longed to run in the rain, letting the water wash away her worries. She loved the rain so dearly despite the fact that even the littlest drop made her sick.

“Rinnie, you're still here?” that  familiar voice tugged her away from her thoughts. The brunette turned to him, beaming ear to ear. He always managed to bring her so sort of comfort.

Her smile dropped as her eyes trailed down to her knee, her mum would throw a tantrum if she showed up with an injury but it wasn't the brunette's fault, it was those nasty bullies who called her weird for being too curious and then pushed her like a ragdoll.

“Was is Chae again?” he asked, frowning.

“Doesn't matter,” Yerin brushed it off, grabbing his hand and pulling him into the rain again. Minjun was well aware that his friend gets sick easily, he tried shielding her with his umbrella but she brushed that aside, playing like a wild child. He like seeing her genuinely happy and let it slide.

And instead of heading straight to her house, they went to his, drying off and the first thing Minjun did was take care of her wound, it was simple and he had learn doing so from helping her out a lot, from bruises to cuts and even burns.

“There,” He smiled, adding a plaster to her injury. “How are you feeling?”

“How are you feeling?”

Yerin blinked out of her daze, now looking at Changbin. She had zoned out again, staring as the rain drizzled down the sky. She huffed out a sad sigh, quickly tackling the taller in a hug, burying her face in the crook of his neck. “I'm fine.”

Changbin pouted. She was definitely not fine.
