"...Tay, take a breath.." Logan said, trying to calm her down. "We need to-"

"GAAHHHH!" Tyler screamed, everybody turned to the direction of the sound. Taylor's eyes widening once she realized who's voice screamed.

"Tyler.." The lights started to flicker aggressively before it turned off. Their surroundings turning grey and dull, the sky being tinted with red, startling the group.

"..what's happening-" Naomi questioned, holding Lily close to her who was tearing up by the sudden change.

"Oh my.." Mariana muttered, Naomi gasped and quickly hid Lily in her arms by the scene. The very same monsters they've been seeing were at the windows, staring at them before it disappeared completely. The world going back to the original.

"A-aiden, come here. We're leaving-" Jessica, Aiden's mom, looked back to reach for Aiden.

"Taylor, stop!" Aiden shouted while holding back Taylor who was trying to get our of Logan's and Aiden's grip.

"We..cant-go back there..right now!" Logan struggled to say while holding Taylor back. Ben blocked the path infront of Taylor in case she got of their grip.

"You need to let the doctors handle it! If we go back there, then we're going to get kicked out!" Aiden stated trying his best to restrain her and get her to think clearly.

"Let go!" Taylor yelled "He needs me!!"

M/n twitched a bit in his sleep before slowly curling himself into a fetus position. His face forming into a discomfort and disturbed look while cold sweat ran down his face.

"..T-Ty...Ash.." he muttered in his sleep, the pain in his stomach worsened. No matter how much he clutched and curled himself the pain didn't subsided.

Dreamscape

"Tyler? Ashlyn?!" He called out, currently he was in very same forest he died. Everything felt real, heck he can even feel things so clearly. But he still doesn't know if this is a dream or if he's actually in the phantom dimension. "Someone respond!"

He felt helpless in this world, and so alone. He just wanted to back with his friends, to hug them, to reassure them he's okay and that he's alive.

He snapped out of his thoughts once he heard the sound of his name being called out so weakly. He quickly ran to that direction while continuing to call them in a loud voice hoping they'll respond back.

"Guys?! Where are you, don't worry I'm-.." He stopped running once he saw the damaged keep, he felt his blood run cold and his knees weakening when he saw the state his friends were in. "G-guys!!"

He quickly ripped the door open and checked everyone, their eyes were empty and lifeless. He hurried checked for their pulse, hoping there's a beat-something that will tell him they're still alive. His hands trembled as he felt nothing but their cold skin meeting with his.

"..M..M-M/n.." A weak voiced called out, he immediately looked at Ashlyn who was motionless but her eyes moved to meet his. He quickly got out of the car and went to Ashlyn, hurriedly cupping her cheeks.

"Ashlyn-hold on I'll get you out of here-" He said while getting her seatbelt off, he stiffened when her hand went ontop of his.

"You..you left us.." She muttered, his eyes widened before quickly reassuring and denying her statement.

"N-no, no of course not! I'd never-dont think too much of it Ashlyn, I swear I didn't leave you guys!" He stuttered, getting her out of the car before laying her back on a tree trunk.

"Liar..you lied.." Ashlyn weakly said "I..hate you."

He started to tear up, not because of her words. Because he didn't want her to die, she's the only person he has in this world right now and he couldn't afford to lose her.

"Ashlyn stay awake-Ashlyn please!" He sobbed cupping her cheeks and holding her hand. He stumbled while standing up, looking around for something that will help him. He saw a med kit lying around the ground. "Stay with Ashlyn I found-"

He was about to get the medkit when he felt a hand around his ankle, he looked down and almost screamed by the sight. It was Tyler holding his ankle, his guts were spilling out, his eyes showed nothing but emptiness.

"Why did you abandon us." Tyler's voice was weak but anger was in his tone.

"I-I didn't I swear!" His voice quivered "Stop saying that-Id never abandon you guys!"

"Then explain this." His world soon turned dark, it was nothing but an empty dark space. The bodies of his friends were infront of him, all lifeless and unresponsive.

"Because of you we died." Tyler's voice raised.

"No..nonono.." He covered his ears, trying to avoid Tyler's voice.

"Because of you our family is worried." Tyler didn't stop.

"Stop..please-" he pleaded, his knees going weak before kneeling to ground.

"Because of you," He felt a hand on his chin before being forced to look up to Tyler's dead empty eyes. "We're nothing but memories to the people we love."

"AAAAHHHH!!!" He screamed out of fear, sitting up quickly. He felt arms surround him, trying to communicate with him.

"M/n-M/n!" Maverick called out, holding him by his shoulders. Nothing but pure worry was apparent on his face. "Hey hey, calm down it's just me. You're safe.."

He teared up before hugging Maverick, burrying his face onto his chest. His breathing was unsteady, body trembling. Maverick stayed stiff for a while, a bit shock by how M/n initiated the contact first instead of him. He snapped out his thoughts before wrapping his arms around his body. His hand scratching his scalp soothingly.

"Shh..It's fine, you're fine..you're safe." He muttered, rubbing his back as a way to comfort him. "I won't let anyone hurt you."

"..What are we supposed to do in this situation..?" Daniel questioned, both him and Jessica were still horrified by what happened by the window.

"..I suppose we can start by believing them." James, Logan's grandfather, spoke.

"Believe them?" Jessica questioned him.

"It's a hard pill to swallow, but we all saw what happened a moment ago." James stated "To try and pretend we didn't would make us some pathetic parents, wouldn't you agree? If everything they've said is true, then those kids have gone through hell together. In surprised they've lasted this long on their own."

The group of adults stayed silent, still tense after what happened. The newfound information,finding out their children is going into some demon dimension,those mosnters that appeared by the window and then disappearing. It was all so new and so confusing for them, but at the same time..how hard it would've been for the kids to go through something like that too.

"..but given what they've told us so far..are we even able to help?" Naomi questioned. "And why are we just now starting to see the same things?"

"Those are are the big questions, aren't they? What's our course of action from here?" Emma wondered.

"What do you mean M/n got kidnapped?!" Tyler asked Aiden, who flinched by the sudden raise of tone.

"He got kidnapped obviously." He joked lightly, he was both scared and worried for M/n truly.

"Ugh-stop taking this so lightly! Did you guys do something about it??" Tyler asked.

"I think Ashlyn's dad already filed a report, but we don't have much information so far. Ashlyn knows more about this-" Aiden tried answering Tyler's questions before getting interrupted by the door opening. "Ah, speak of the devil."

Ashlyn entered with a look full of worry. She took a breath before walking up to Tyler.

"..I'm sorry." Ashlyn apologized, Tyler looked suprised before looking away from her.

"Not your fault." He muttered "..so stop acting mopey, carrot-top." Tyler said, Ashlyn stayed silent after hearing the nickname he gave.

"What." Ashlyn questioned.

"Your hair is orange, so I'm calling you carrot-top from now on." Tyler stated.

"No. You aren't." Ashlyn denied the nickname.

"Too late, already made you my mind." The group laughed as the two argued.

"So..anybody gonna explain why M/n got kidnapped?" Tyler asked, Ashlyn looked at the floor while rubbing the back of her neck.

"When me and dad went to check on him in his house, he wasn't there. The house a mess, it looked like he put up a fight with them." Ashlyn explained, Tyler looked at the bowl of food infront of him. His eyebrows were furrowed, mouth pressed into a thin line.

"Does that mean..he could be in the same state as me before I woke up." Tyler stated, worry pooled around his gut.

"That's what I'm worrying about, if the people who kidnapped him doesn't know about the situation we're in. It's gonna be dangerous for M/n's health." Ashlyn said, Taylor fiddled with her fingers.

"What if..I don't know what if he's dead-" Taylor questioned, clearly not liking that idea but it seemed logical.

"No." Ashlyn quickly denied the idea, Taylor flinched by the harsh tone. "I..I'm sorry Taylor, but I highly doubt he's dead..death avoids him like a plague."

"What do you mean by that?" Logan questioned.

"I'll explain later, for now we need to focus on Tyler and our next plan." Ashlyn stated.

M/n stared at the chessboard infront him, dozing into wherever. That is until Maverick snapped his fingers a few times to catch his attention.

"M/n you still haven't made your move yet." Maverick spoke softly.

"Oh uh-right.." he looked at the board infront of him, everything was so blurry and moving all the time he couldn't focus on the game. He just sighed and pushed the board away from him. "I don't think I can continue the game.."

Maverick stared at him for a while before sighing, grabbing the board before putting it away. He looked at M/n who was hugging his knees while avoiding eye contact, he thought for a moment before sitting on the bed beside M/n.

"I'm guessing you don't wanna discuss what happened yet?" He questioned, M/n nodded. ".. I'll stay here for a while then."

"You don't have to, you're probably busy with other stuff-" he tried to tell him.

"Hah, it's not like they can do anything about it." He laughed a little. "..I'd rather stay here than go to my office. It's a bit boring there."

"..please.." M/n muttered, Maverick turned his head towards him.

"Please what?" He questioned.

"..please don't leave me again.." he pleaded in a weak voice, Maverick knew this might've been the aftermath after that terrible dream of his. After a few hours he'll go back to self reserved and guarded self, but he still wanted to reassure him.

"I won't, I won't leave you again like last time." He said, silence engulfing the room before he felt a weight on his shoulder, he turned his head to see that M/n felt asleep on his shoulder. "..I promise."
