Stella's POV

I woke up just as I would any other day, I went to the bathroom, took my shower, brushed my teeth, did my make up and put on my outfit.

I went downstairs to see Todd on the couch as normal. I know Todd is an alcoholic, but he is really nice to me. He is the only father figure I have, and I won't say I love him, but I'm grateful for him.

I say hi to Todd and go and have breakfast I suddenly hear a honk outside, and I realise I am later than usual I sprint outside to my friends who are waiting in the car. When I get in, I say hi to everyone and talk about the new soccer game coming up. The drive went really fast and now were at school. I just talk to all my friends until the first bell rings. We all walk to our classes.

Once I'm sat down, I begin to overthink everything and comes to the topic of my twin.
I'm kind of sad about my twin because were not as close as we used to be, she just shut me out. She still very protective of me and every time I get in trouble or something she manages to get me out of it. I don't know how many punches she has taken for me but is a few. It has been many times were someone has called me something and she would beat them up. No matter how big or strong they were she always win.

30 minutes into class the microphone gets turned on and everybody listens.

"Can Stella and Scarlett Bianchi come to the principal's office, I repeat myself can Stella and Scarlett Bianchi please come to the principal's office."

I look over at my friends nervously, "it's probably an error Stel nothing to worry about" Kai one of my best friends says.

I go towards the office where there is a lady on the desk.

I cleared my throat a bit so she could hear me, and luckily, she did. She smiled at me and said, "o dear you look just like your sister, you can just go to the office and knock, Scarlett will be with you soon."

I just nodded and went and knocked on the door. As soon as I hear come in, I opened the door where there was our principal looking at me with a sad look on his face.

Just as I was about to ask if it was a mistake or some kind, but before I can the door flies open, and there is my sister in all her glory. She keeps talking to the principal as if their friends.

"I'm sorry to say this but Todd died in a car accident this morning. It was a hit and run and he died on the spot." He said looking sad. I kept replaying what he said in my head a few times until it finally registered. A sob came out of my mouth as I started to cry.

I see Scarlett coming towards me and lifting me into her lap as she sat down. She didn't cry or have any emotion on her face as she started to say soothing things in my ear.

Todd wasn't my favourite, and he did things he shouldn't have done but he was a good man.

Why did he have to die, what will happen now?
Will we have to split up?

"What happens to us now" Scarlett asked him

"We found your family and they are so excited to take you in. your father and oldest brother are here to take you home"

"WHAT" we basically scream at the same time and stand up. I looked at the two men who magically appeared into the room.

"Hi bambino I'm your father Alessandro Romano and this is your eldest brother Leonardo" he said in a calm and soothing voice.

Is it weird I feel safe with them around?

"Hello amori, we have missed you" Leonardo says.

"Hi, I'm stella and that" I say pointing towards a glaring Scarlett "is Scarlett" I say hoping to stop their eye contact.

Scarlett puts my body behind her in a protective manner.

"Scarlett" I hiss at her to stop glaring at them "be nice" I whisper shout at her.
