I was looking for Derek when I accidentally ran into Val. I looked up at him.

"Oh, sorry Val." I said

"Don't sweat it." He said with a smile plastered on his face.

"Um, do you happen to know where Derek is?" I asked him.

"I think I saw him walk into there with Mark." Val replied pointing to the room.

"Oh, thanks. Good luck tonight." I said walking away.

"Good luck to you, too!" I heard Val say as I walked away.

I walked into the room that Val told me Derek was in. I stopped when I heard him ask Mark about a girl named Nina.

I walked in and said,

"Who's Nina?" Derek turned around to face me and looked at me worriedly.

"What?" I asked. "Your all looking at me like I'm an alien," I said laughing.

A small smile crept on to Marks face.
"No, no. We don't like your an alien. Derek was just asking me about his girlfriend." Mark said.

The smile on my face slowly disappeared as Derek turned around to face Mark.

"Dude!" I heard him say.

"I, uh, have to go meet Sadie in her dressing room. Bye Mark." I said.

"Bye Beth!" I heard Mark say as I walked to Sadie's dressing room. Nevertheless, I officially decided on it. I had feelings for Derek Hough.

Derek's POV-
"Mark! Why would you do that?" I questioned him.

"What? It's not like you have feelings for Beth or anything." He said laughing. I stayed silent.

"Wait a second, you do have feelings for her!" He said enthusiastically.

"Mark, I do not. She's only 19. I'm 29." I said blushing.

"Dude, I know when your lying. And you totally are." Mark said smirking.

I sighed, "Ok maybe I do." I said looking at my feet.

"Welcome to Dancing with the Stars, season 19!" Me and Mark heard Tom say. "Let's meet or contestants!" He said.

Me and Mark ran backstage to find Sadie and Bethany.

"Lolo Jones and Keo Motsepe!"

"Tavis Smiley and Sharna Burgess!"

"Randy Couture and Karina Smirnoff!"

"Betsey Johnson and Tony Dovaloni!"

"Jonathan Bennet and Alison Holker!"

"Antonio Sabato Jr. and Cheryl Berke!"

"Micheal Waltrip and Emma Slater!"

"Lea Thompson and Artem Chvisngstev!"

"Tommy Chong and Peta Murgatroyde!"

"Bethany Mota and Derek Hough!"
We walked out onto stage and did our little routine and lined up next to the rest of the couples.

"Janel Parrish and Val Chmervoskiy!"

"Sadie Robertson and Mark Ballas!"

"Lastly, Alfonso Riberio and Witney Carson!" Tom finished reading out all the coupes names. Everybody was happy and cheering.

"Alright everybody! First up we Janel and her pro Val!" Tom announced as the rest of the couples headed to the skybox. I tried to talk to Bethany but she walked to Sadie before I could say anything. I just decided to watch Janel and Val preform.

Finally it was time for me and Bethany to preform. I walked up to her and tapped her on the shoulder.

"You ready, B?" I asked.

"Yup." She forced a smile. I sighed trying to think of ways to tell her I liked her. We got down to the stage and she sat on her prop bed in her fake bedroom.

"You got this, Bethers." I said before walking to my spot.

Our video package ended and the music started. We started dancing and Bethany was doing great. Her facial expressions we amazing! We finished and I dipped her, which was our final pose. I lifted her up and hugged her.

"Great job, baby!"

We walked over to the judges table to get our comments. Then, headed to the skybox.

"Great job you two!" Said Erin and we approached her. She asked us a few questions. Then, it was time for scores.

"Carrie Ann Inaba"

"Len Goodman"

"Julianne Hough"

"Bruno Tonoli"
"8!"

Bethany was ecstatic. She jumped up and hugged me.

The show was soon over and I was walking Bethany to her car when I decided it was time. We reached her car and I stopped her before getting in.

"What?" She asked confused.

"Bethany, I have to tell you something."
She looked at my worriedly.

"I-I like you." I stuttered.

She looked at me in shock. She opened her mouth to spark but before she could say anything I did something unexpected. I kissed her. I felt sparks fly throughout my whole body. She eventually pulled away.

"What was that?" She asked.

"That, was what I've been waiting to do for a long time."

"Derek, you have a girlfriend...." She trailed off.

"I was going to break up with her tonight." I said looking into her eyes.

"Derek," she sighed, "I like you too."
